Easy to find and convenient as there are a few spots to grab a bite to eat while waiting. Went two times while on vacation in the morning and before 10am there was no issue finding a space.

However it needs a trash bin. Trash thrown all over the roadway. Order a small dumpster!

What a wonderful anniversary weekend at the Gaylord Palms. And thankful for being a Marriott Bonvoy…read moremember. We were assigned a room overlooking the waterpark area. It was also an amazing room for a sunset sighting. Amazing!! We thoroughly enjoyed the Water Area. They have something for all ages. Wonderful they have a Lazy River with lifeguards ensuring everyone is safe and no one jumping in. Our Relache Spa experience was one of the most relaxing experiences. We booked a couples massage ~ but our experience began with the warm greeting from Marah. Our therapists Louise and Laura knew all the stressed points to massage out. Louise is quite intuitive and massaged out so many knots on my neck shoulders and scapula. Our session ended in the Tea room - relaxing. Next time will try the Eucalyptus Steam room. In the evening ~ we watched the light show from the Market Square. Many families enjoyed this show as they were eating their Cold Stone ice cream. We love walking through the Everglades and Forest areas. We used their Fitness Room which was clean and the machines were all functioning. After ~ we had brunch at Villa De Flor on a morning greeted by super heroes ~ Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman. The kids thoroughly enjoyed this. The food is delicious. They introduced a drink menu just this week. We both enjoyed The Vespa ~ a matcha iced drink with an ube topping. Bryan ~ came by to take our feedback. Great tasting matcha and not too sweet! Why the 4 stars ~ I would highly suggest placing couples on a different floor from families. The families can be quite loud for those preferring a quieter ambiance. And we had a few jokesters on our floor playing Knock and ditch. Finally I think a map of the seating areas around the water park placed strategically right after the entrance gate would benefit so many families. They were coming in and realizing no seating in one part only to realize there was another part of the water park. FYI There is a daily resort fee and charge for self-parking. But keep a hold of your room key as you can use to enter and exit the self-parking lot with it. Overall would return during the winter ~ with the family during to take them for the ICE event and holiday spectacular.

I chose to self-park while there and the garage is a little bit of a walk from the entry. Upon entering it's beautiful to see the waterfall straight ahead, with beautiful marble and fixtures throughout. Checking in was easy and great. I was fortunate to get there before the large crowds, as when I walked in, there were plenty of staff available to check me in and there were no guests. About an hour later I walked through there and there were about 100 people in line waiting to check-in. The lady who checked me in was perfect! Friendly, professional, recognized my status, and gave me good info about the property, while promptly checking me in. Once I got to my room I was immediately satisfied with the décor and cleanliness. It's common that the Marriott properties I stay in have moldy caulking in the shower area, nasty, stained carpeting, and furniture that's stained, broken, dirty, and unappealing - But not here! This room was very nicely set up and maintained too. The bed was comfy and they also offered Pluto as one of their internet TV/streaming services - This has been very important to me over the past couple of years, I'm so used to it that I hate properties that don't offer it. The property itself was great. Service by all the staff was great. The entire place was well-maintained and you never have to leave or go outside; in fact, we didn't leave for the first day and a half! It's probably the best Gaylord I've stayed in so far, definitely better than National Harbor! It's also a mile from Disney World!!

It is also very clean, and I have no complaints about the overall property. The only downside was the shower head in the hotel room. I'm not sure if it's designed that way, but the water pressure was extremely strong, and there didn't seem to be a way to adjust the settings. Aside from that minor issue, I had another wonderful stay and would love to return. The service is great and they do have a cafeteria and friendly big gift shop. Transportation to theme parks are accessible too! They have buses and skylines (go to Hollywood Studio and Epcot) that runs often; so you have option!

When you spend thousands of dollars at the happiest place on earth, you expect happiness , equivalent service and amenities. I should have done more research on where I booked in the resort. My family was in The Lion King section and my room was at the end in the Little mermaid section. I wasn't able to change my room when I checked in either. Upon arrival, there was a long line of guests waiting at the check-in area but not all we're checking in. I waited about 20 minutes. There were only 3 to 4 reps at the counters helping guests. Recommendation, have dedicated check-in counters and dedicated service counters clearly defined for guest as they arrive. It was a little chaotic. When I did check in, it was easy and the guest representative was very helpful. I waited in the reception area fory family and the headed to the animation store (so many fun things to buy. They have snacks, swag, collectables, and toiletries) then I went to the cafeteria with my three big Littles, they wanted some pizza. Best practice, by the refillable mug! It is worth the $22 investment. What went well: although this is a dated resort, it is well kept and very clean! My room was clean and comfortable. I've even tried to find the sheets because they were some of the most comfortable sheets I've ever slept in. There is an Alexa type device in the room to help you during the stay. Housekeeping comes every other day, the schedule is laid out in your room. You are able to request items as needed on the off days. The food in the cafeteria was really good, expensive but good. Great variety and you're able to mobile order from your resort app. The main pool was fun but a lot of people. You are able to go to one of the other pools that are not as crowded. There is a laundry facility on site near the main pool. Very convenient. You are able to refill your water bottles in the cafeteria drink area. There is a cute arcade in the main area We saw Disney characters several times in the main area What did not go so well: the long walk from where my room was to wear my family was to the main area was not ideal. I wish I would have known before booking. No AC in the elevators. Really. The elevators are a cremation box. Guest services was not the friendliest. I was shocked at how dismissive and rude they were. The bellman area employee was outright rude and miserable when I simply asked for my doordash order. Guest services over the phone we're not helpful and were rude when I called 2 times for assistance (luggage question, late checkout question) The majority of the cafeteria workers were not the friendliest. My grand Little's witnessed an employee yelling at a guest to hurry up and get her coffee she was taking too long. Sigh. Overall the stay was a mid experience. While the resort is well maintained and clean, the staff was not as welcoming. I will not stay here ever again, but if you do not care about the friendliness of the crew or care if it's a mid experience, I'd say go for it. Also, the kids love this resort so if you have Little's this may be the spot for you.
