My family and I usually make our first pitstop here during our road trips to Southern California. On a Wednesday morning around 10AM it was $0.46/kWh. The Harris Ranch bathrooms are walking distance (less than 100m) and clean. You can also grab a snack/drink at The Harris Ranch convenience store (also less than 100m). There are plenty of supercharger stalls available. All the stalls are shaded. We received a notice on the Tesla dash upon arriving that certain stalls were broken. The location appears to be well maintained.

50+ chargers

Many changers stations with shaded spots for your cars. Also many trash cans for snack wrappers and other trash. Also have a way to clean you windows with cleaners and sponges. No wait to charge but may get busy peak hours and seasons

This Tesla Charging Station has a lot of chargers and is usually empty which is great if you like space. The restroom is a short 3 minute walk to a store that sells Harris Beef BBQ and other things like ribs, chicken, pulled pork and sandos. There's a nice tv outside of the restroom that plays sports and has a nice picnic bench. Because this is near the largest cow ranch in California, there is a pretty nasty smell like fertilizer smell. But wind direction permitting, the air isn't too bad on cooler days. All in all it's a fair alternative to Kettleman's charging station as long as you arrive prior to dark. At night, it might be too isolated and well, dark.

Tons of chargers and hit up the bbq too!

Tons of charging stations (over 70+) next to Harris Ranch. Charge up, go get some Harris BBQ (yes get the brisket), they have public restrooms, a mini mart right next to the Shell Gas Station. If you're looking for the Harris Ranch steaks, walk across the street and dine in. This location is great, right off the 5 freeway in the middle between LA and SF. You have all the amenities in walking distance. Fast Tesla superchargers.

Supercharger area, with solar panels on the roof.

I'm not sure if this is the largest supercharger area in the country but it has to be close. It's also semi powered by solar power.

Yummmmy....!

Good charging here...

Good place to charge your Tesla. It's in Coalinga by Harris Ranch. You can have lunch while waiting. Has plenty of stalls and shade for those hot days. Shell Is next to it to use the bathroom as well. The kWh is pretty good for fast charge and we usually end of going here because I want shade! [48R,2024]

Bathrooms were being cleaned. And not attached to a restaurant or gas station

This is a great midpoint to stop with all the amenities! * A dog park attached * clean Restrooms a short walk to stretch your legs, which are cleaned when I walked up and not a part of a restaurant or gas station, * and lots of restaurants to choose from. * Maybe even take a longer break and have a Harris ranch meal or a quick barbecue from there to go window. The cost is .46/kwthr

Everyone tries to get a charger right at the entrance . There are plenty more further in. Convenient to get some Harris Ranch BBQ. 4 out of 5 stars cuz the cow poo smell is inescapeable.

Conveniently located and quiet. Not much to do around. Watch out for roaches in the summer around the stations.

Ask the Community - Tesla Supercharger

What is the cost?

It varies by time and daily, you have to check the app for current fees at certain times.

What is the power source for these 36 stations?

I read the electricity comes from diesel generators. Hmmm, this is Green??

Are these chargers very crowded? Wondering if there is a long wait time to use them.

Location has a significant count of chargers & last I was there in August 2024, there was a whole additional section in buildout not yet available. I'm planning on charging there again in October 2024 and will see if that section is now available.…

I wish there was a "standard." Gas station and Harris Ranch are walking distance too where you can buy food.
