Looked around to see what my gas station options were and found Sinclair gas station across the freeway from the Walmart. Perfect! It was the same direction I needed to go to get back on the freeway to head east toward Lincoln. Sinclair gas is right outside this Nebraskaland Tire shop. It's really a truck stop, with gas pumps for automobiles, and a separate gas pump area for longer trucks. This is a nice stop because it's quieter and easy to drive right up to the pump without having to wait. This was also the first Sinclair gas station I've come across during my drive from CA where the pump accepted tap to pay (instead of having to physically insert my credit card). I was really happy about the newer gas pump that has this feature! Because I'm always worried about losing my credit card when I have to dig it out of my purse. The gas prices here are also pretty good.

Everyone else was closed for the evening, but Edgar came back to his shop to see if it was a simple repair he could help us with. Turned out we needed a part that, because of the holiday and weekend, would take 5 days to get. He drove us to a hotel and kept in contact the entire time. When the part arrived, he repaired the car immediately and brought the car to us at the hotel. His cost was a fraction of what the dealership in Lincoln would have charged us. Where do I start... okay.. first.. I walked in 10 minutes early and the woman at the counter…read morescolded me and told me they weren't open "quite yet" and made me leave, instead of offering me a seat for 7 minutes. Then they charged me $30 more than even the local T/A for tires. Then they took a tire off and told me they couldn't put it back on because it had low tire wear and had a nail in it. It is however DOT legal.. they just wanted to extort me into buying another tire. I had to get loud and demand them put the tire back on for them to do so. Constant feeling of being forced to spend more money on their already over priced tires. They have also had my truck for over four hours for 4 tires and two tire relocates on a trailer. I also overheard a phone call where the woman let someone inquiring about 4 new batteries know that if the batteries show any wear on the housing he would have to pay an additional $40 core per battery. Again.. they will squeeze every drop of blood out of you that they can. Can't wait to see what they charged me to mount and dismount
