I visited Plant Land for the first time in early June (noting that for selection reasons). A friend…read morerecommended I check it out! Overall I was expecting "more" from the shopping visit. I came with a particular need in mind, shade annuals to plant in a specific area. I assumed going to a local business rather than a chain would entail more of a personal touch but I didn't get that. The two employees greeted me but didn't ask if I needed any help so I figured I'd just roam around and see what I could find. I didn't think the types of plants were labeled very well, so I ended up back at the register to ask for advice. After I interrupted her reading a magazine, the lady gave me a couple of suggestions and pointed to areas I could look but it would have been nice if she walked me to the spot and helped me look for what she recommended. She also mentioned they were out of the options that may be a good fit so I guess, come earlier than the first week of June for a full selection. We aren't all garden experts and I was hoping they would be. Anyway, I figured out what to get by reading the markers in the plants. I can't say for sure, but I feel like I was also overcharged for the plants I selected. You'll see in my picture but their pricing for most items is based on the size of the container. How do I know the guy who rang me up picked the right price? My receipt didn't provide details so I couldn't verify later. Anyway, I like the plants I selected but I don't think I'll return. I get more of a personal touch with plant advice from my local hardware store (though they have a limited selection).

"MELISSA REVIEW" please click on this free loaders profile almost all her reviews are bad. I myself have eaten at Celito lindo they have the best Mexican in milwaukee and she gave them a bad review! Melissa is abusing the system and tries to get free things and when she don't get what she wants she threatens with bad reviews and social media bashing. I had to respond because I work hard to make all my customers happy and I'm not going to allow online bullying she is a free loader trying to take advantage of businesses. This is Tess and I'm not good with computers but Melissa review is not valid this lady tried to get my employee to steal not knowing she is my daughter she bought two bags of hair after calling having me answer questions for 10 minutes then came in wanted the best expensive hair but couldn't afford it I gave her great hair in her budget after she spent a half hour in the store she then didn't drive walked from work and came back to change the color we helped her but after I left she came back and wanted my daughter thinking she was an employee to give her the hair that cost $20 more in exchange when my daughter told her she couldn't do that she got mad here's the crazy thing she left mad but never came back with the hair obviously she loved my hair because she didn't try and return it she wanted a free upgrade after she slandered me all over social media look at the price she claims she paid anyone who knows about human hair knows $90 is cheap for two packages so she made herself look bad and I been in business 25 years for treating people good read more

This is the worst person to ever have a business in the milwaukee area, she is lazy not helpful and rude she sleeps in her store and she's racist. She's selling wigs that are online for 20-30$ for 100$ the wigs can't take heat you can't curl it or straighten it I can't beleive I spent 200-300 on wigs, and she told me evrytime it was a better deal and wigs I would never give her business and anyone who shops there is waisting there money and time it's cheaper online than in her store , the grand is closed now because she's selling half ass wigs the store is dirty, cheap stuff is being sold for top dollar it's sad, read more

Today, like the last few times I have been to your store, the same bratty little sales associate has been there. Today, July 30, the young lady with brunette hair tucked up in a bun was a nightmare. Now, I am not a stickler for customer service, but for the love, child, say hello to your patrons. I had my hands full of merchandise and not once did she ask if she could start me a dressing room. I had to run out during my "try-on" session and still nothing. She didn't check on me once and I was so annoyed by the end of trying things on, the pieces I liked I chose not to purchase. All she had to do was acknowledge me. I guess my $400.00 just wasn't welcomed. I'm not sure that I will visit any more after my last few experiences. There are plenty of other boutiques in the Third Ward and around Milwaukee who are much more accommodating and welcoming to their customers.
