I could have spent hours wondering around. The outdoor space is huge and set up with pathways. There were so many surprises throughout not only with their unique statues and sculptures but there was a cage with a giant live peacock who actually spread his tail feathers out while we were watching him. It was incredible! If you're looking for garden statues, you will find something you love. They have everything from animals, gnomes, dinosaurs, aliens, flowers and all types of things. They have benches, gliders and swings that are extremely sturdy made out of hardwood. Very high quality. There is every size planter you can image. They even had wood burning stoves! The plants and trees were fantastic! They had such reasonable prices on trees. We purchased 4 trees 5 years ago from a nursery in Dallas and the trees at Roland's were bigger and at the 2021 price we paid back in the day! You can tell the employees love what they do and rally care about taking care of the plants. Everyone seemed happy and asked us several times if we needed help. If you're in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Roland's is 100% worth the drive.

This woman owned small businesses keeps a variety of locally sourced plants on hand including yard & house plants, seasonal fruit & veggie staples, and herbs and has easily become one of my favorite new plant shops. They shop owner is super sweet & extremely helpful and love to share her plant knowledge with shopper! She made my experience there very fun & easy. I picked up a wopping 16 new plants that I will be growing in containers this summer including Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Squash, Zuchinni, and Cucmbers. I'm nervous about taking on so many new plants at once, but I'm excited to.watch them grow!

In my opinion, this business was much better before they moved to the new location. We used to buy…read moretons of plants and décor here, and one of the best parts was talking with the older lady who really knew her plants and trees. Her knowledge and the friendly, small-town feel always kept us coming back, and the prices were fair. Now, with the new location, it feels more like a corporate operation. The small-town charm is gone, and so are the reasonable prices. Everything seems way overpriced, to the point where it feels like my wallet is being taken advantage of. I now find myself shopping at other nurseries where I can get a better deal and still receive good service. It's sad to see a local business that built a loyal following in town lose its character and affordability. Unfortunately, it feels like greed got the best of what once was a great place to shop.

It's a really cute house that is actually a plant store. It's almost like it's two stores in one. Inside, there are really cool house plants and air plants, and etc. Then when you get outside, it's like a whole other world. They also had some really interesting carnivorous plants available. Some of their stuff was a little pricey, but a lot of these plants are more exotic that you wouldn't find at the average Home Depot Garden center. There's tons of options if you were wanting to find a meaningful gift to give to a friend or family member. They had a nice selection of cactus outside and other trees. I was very impressed and highly recommend you to stop by when you are in the Bishop Arts area.

After receiving several flyers from this new nursery we decided to have them come over for a free…read moreestimate and consult. The consult was good and we were provided an offer for a couple of services, thoroughly clear an existing flowerbed, remove a tree and soil injections for 2 other trees. Initial offer seemed rather high but then the consultant called the general manager to get us a discount given we would be coming back to replace plants in the flower bed. I had to call and remind the consultant 2 times to schedule the soil injection service as they never reached out to me. The tree removal was okay but they didn't remove the entire stump even though we told them we were going to put grass over the area. Then we made an appointment to meet our consultant to design our new flowerbed bed. First appointment he wasn't there so we spent time with the GM and we discussed what we liked and didn't like which she would relay to our consultant. So a week later we went again to meet the consultant and he had NOT been informed of anything we discussed with the GM, so we had to go through the whole process again. Ultimately picked out the plants and got a design layout. Agreed a date and time for them to come and plant it all. Long story short, some of the plants were damaged (a very expensive whale tail agave) and some of what we chose in the nursery turned out to be shorter when they were delivered. Oh and again we were told we got a manager special pricing....hhmm should have been a warning sign. After the work they ask for feedback where I made all issues known and I was told someone would be reaching out. That was 2 months ago!! I even texted the same number again. No response. Basically, whilst the products and free stuff they give you is all great. There is a lot to be said about the aftercare and customer service. I will definitely be thinking twice before spending my hard earned money at Moon Nurseries.
