I received a frantic and extremely frustrated call from my mom regarding her recent appointment and inability to obtain the results from her sleep study. My mom shared that she waited on hold at least 10 minutes for Marsha to confirm why the information was not available at the appointment.Marsha never came back causing my mom to hang up. I ended up calling myself to diffuse the situation and hopefully obtain the intended results. When I called to speak with Marsha, I spoke with Tala... who also initially left me on hold for over 10 minutes. I hung up, called back and explained to Tala that is not how vulnerable patients should be treated and I planned to take this matter as far as necessary to obtain the necessary care and information that my mom deserved. I was ultimately allowed to speak with Marsha and can confirm that she was indeed very rude, curt, and unpleasant, and unprofessional. I asked why she left my mom on hold so long. She said she was gathering information.Ok... fair enough. I asked why didn't she call my mom back. She said she didn't think my mom wanted to talk to her anymore! Whatttt kinda establishment is this place? I asked to speak with her manager and was referred to the owner Dr. Kalish (sp) who is supposed to call me back (probably not). After a semi heated exchange with Marsha, who said she isn't a mind reader because she didn't know to call my mom back after the extended hold, we were able to schedule another appointment at a different location selected by my mom. She chose the Rockwall location and scheduled an appointment for Friday. Marsha called back and said she made a mistake and scheduled the appointment for the Plano location instead! Unbelievable incompetence! The appointment was rescheduled for the Rockwall location and hopefully they can provide the correct information and care originally sought by my mom. read more

They NEVER give reminders, text, calls, or emails. Office staff are always there, but talking with each other, hard to get anyone on the telephone. But, I will say the lady that gives the injections is AWESOME !!! We really need another allergy clinic in Mesquite or closer than Firewheel location. read more

If I could give a negative score I would do that! They are terrible communicators. I called and left messages too many times to count and emailed and then had to wait for those to be responded too. Don't worry that I might have sleep apnea and was trying to get it corrected! Now I have to see if I can find a GOOD office to help me. Absolutely avoid this office. The doctor may be good, but the support staff is absolutely terrible. No one ever picks up the phone, I've literally called over 100 times in the last month with zero response. They were supposed to order my mother a Sleep apnea machine 7 months ago, and have continue to be delayed. I can understand a little delay of a couple months, but 7+ months is negligence. The doctor also prescribes medication to be sent to the pharmacy, but this takes days if not weeks. When you call the office, again there is no response. Again, the doctor might be good, but the general office clearly does not care about the patients. I passionately urge you to pick some other office. read more

I agree with all of these 1-star reviews. The 5-star review is an outlier. I can't reach anyone on the phone to pay my bill. No one ever calls me back. I can't pay online and I refuse to mail my credit card info to anyone. The bill is for only $40 and is now 120 days old because no one will let me pay it! Also, I never saw a doctor when I went there - only a PA. I was sent by my PCP for post-Covid care and never had any follow up - went somewhere else and am now doing much better. Every step of the process with these guys was terrible. Scheduling was awful, getting in contact with anyone is impossible, and now I can't even pay my bill. Their invoice has no way to pay online (in 2024?!?), and no one ever answers the phone. Like ever, even in the billing department. You leave a message, and no one calls you back. So, I did what we did in the 80's and mailed a check. It never cleared. Now they've sent me a bill with a late fee on it. I PAID THE BILL. Based on my experience with these people it was definitely their receiving department. I seriously doubt the USPS lost it, I'm SURE it was Texas Allergy & Breathing Centers receiving department. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS. Even if your primary care provider recommended them, which is what happened with us, DO NOT USE THEM. Ask your primary provider to recommend someone else. read more

This allergy place is complete trash. First of all, when you call some weird guy answers that's not even in the office and then he transfers you to the office. I have yet to get an answer when I transfer. When I actually went to the appointment I was visibly covered in hives and told them I was taking about 8 Benadryl a day. The specialist gave me a script for Zyrtec, and said see me in a month. You don't need a perspiration to buy that and needless to say it didn't help at all. I tried to move my appointment up and no answer. I had to go back to my doctor's office and get another steroid shot so I wouldn't die and a new referral. My doctor's office also removed them from their list of referrals after I told them about my issues. This place is trash. Never go there unless you want to waste your time while your having a major allergic reaction. Garbage. read more

Reasons not to go here 1. First sleep test they woke me up a dozen times so needless to say I got no sleep very unprofessional for 800 a night. During my stay I was woke to loud talking by the staff banging filing cabinet drawers 5 times in a row sounded like gunshots going off at 1 am. I should have went somewhere else at this point. Had to go back for machine fitting and testing the nurse was very careful and quite that night. 2. When they sent the prescription off they forgot to get the doctors signature and to send the notes then when they sent it again the company claimed the docs signature was not on it AGAIN. The answering service kept picking up or it went to voice mail.They do not answer their phones during normal hrs finally we went up there sat in the lobby for 45min waiting to talk to the person then they assured me it would be done right. Next morning I called health line medical equipment where they sent my prescription they still claim they do not have the doctors signature 3. I run a Company supporting other Dr. Offices and I am pulled 30 different directions all day but i have to time to do the staffs work and stay on top of them to make sure I get my machine they have zero follow through. We have had to go to the office to relay messages from the Health Line People. It has been 2 weeks since the machine should have been ordered. 4. When I complained they said " I WOULD NEVER BE HAPPY they would just send me my records and I could just get another Dr." They stated they will not be verbally abused and I was rude by saying I would write a bad review like all the others had . I never cussed at them till the guy that answered the phone at the answering service got rude with me but I did say this was stupid and that there is a INEPTITUDE by both there parties . I can see why in the reviews people had to wait over 7 months to get there machines these people have no accountability. Bottom line If you have a patent that quits breathing over 161 times in a hr and you tell them ITS VERY BAD you absolutely need a CPAP then mess up the order 4 + times in the course of 2 weeks INEPTITUDE is the kindest thing you can say. These people just want your money and when you get tired of there antics they throw your file at you and tell you to go somewhere else. read more

If I could leave less than 1 Star, I definitely would. This is a horrible waste of time and money. I was recently diagnosed with lung nodules and my PCP referred me to this clinic. They are very difficult to reach, I only was treated by the PA, my prescriptions were not sent, I couldn't get them to respond to my messages. Just go on Amazon and buy an at-home sleep study for under $100. It cost me $350 out of pocket to go in three times for one night and they didn't put tape in the bag to tape the equipment to my face so it only got about 4.5 hours total. It's not worth the money. Sorry! Just buy a sleep study on your own and then possibly buy apnea equipment after that if you really need it. I won't do this every again. Lesson learned. read more

This place is very unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for food allergy testing. When I walked in, I confirmed I was there only for food allergy testing. I had gotten an environmental testing done not too long ago. The front desk said, only the a Nurse Practitioner could make the call. I assumed she would have asked the NP before sending me back. Of course, she didn't so when I saw the NP she said she could do just the food allergy test. But that I would have to come back another day. At the end, I didn't get anything done and still paid a $70 copay! They also mentioned I would pay at my next appointment and AGAIN to pick up my results! This place loves to STEAL YOUR $!! This place is horrible! This place was referred by my dad family doctor for his sleep apnea. I called this place to make an appointment for my 72 years old dad for Wednesday 9/20 @ 10am. They called and reschedule him for Thursday 9/21 then called again to canceled him again and reschedule for October- 6 even clearly on the phone my dad told them that he won't be going there because of how unprofessional they already are with cancelling and reschedule him multiple time. My dad live in Dallas by himself and was paying someone to take him to the appointment, screwed up their work schedule because this practice keeps cancelling. Very inconsiderate of patient's time and schedule. Reading at other reviews seems like this office needs to take these reviews more serious and change their work ethic. The phone ring forever until someone picks up. Their front desk is also rude! Please stay away from this practice. They don't value your time!! read more

I read some of the reviews and I admit the service is poor. My sleep test was excellent and I had no problems. Staff was excellent. However, it took over six months to get my Cpap machine . I called several times and each time I was told the prescription was sent. I called Healthline multiple times as well. During one of my calls I was told I could go in to get setup. When it was time to set up the machine Healthline had not received all the necessary information to set up but they set me up anyway. It's hard to believe service can be that bad. It all boils down to poor office management. Again, sleep study was excellent. The rest of the services were very inadequate. read more

I scheduled an appointment online, but when I got there the girl at the front desk told me that if I scheduled online I don't have an appointment because she can't access it. Why have that enabled as an option if it isn't accessible and the appointment won't be honored?! Then I told her I wanted to go ahead and schedule an appointment while I was there. She asked for my insurance card. When I gave it to her she just stared at it for a while. Then she got on the phone but didn't talk to anyone. When she came back over to me she said "I don't know if we take this insurance. I've never seen it before." I asked who would know then and she said she called the billing manager but she is out of the office. I found a list of accepted insurance on their website so I was baffled as to how the person working there wasn't aware or couldn't find out what insurances are accepted. I don't usually write reviews unless I have had an experience on the end of an extreme. Also, as people in the medical field, my husband and I tend to understand things that happen during an office visit such as long wait times or bad office staff. This office, from my husbands first visit to his third and last visit, has been a nightmare from the start. They collected a copay for the first visit and a copay to take the sleep study machine home. He was then billed over $200 for a doctor visit in which he never actually even met the doctor. When he questioned it with the office, the office removed this charge. After the sleep study was done, he called the office the next day for the results. They told him he couldn't come in to get results that day because everyone was at lunch at that time and was told the next available appointment was a month later! When he came back a month later, they tried to charge him a copay once again just to get his results of the test! They told him he needs a machine and that they would let him know when it is ready to pick up after they verified insurance. He never received a call so he called them 2 weeks later. They told him they would call back in a few days which they did and said it was ready to pick up. so he went to the office at 9:45 for his 10:00 appointment. He waited in the waiting room for 1 hour 15 min and then talked to the NP (who was very rude and never even apologized for the long wait). After the NP left, he sat in the exam room for 45 more minutes only to be told that the approval was never completed for the machine!!! There apparently was preapproval but not a precertification done. Terrible terrible office! Don't go here unless you want to waste time and money! read more

Steer clear of these folks, there are better, professional, honest offices that do sleep studies. This office uses an automated phone system and answering service and the only way you get to talk to a person is if you select "make a new appointment". They waited a year and nine months to bill me for a video call that wasn't even supposed to happen because my doctor's office withdrew the referral. Texas law gives healthcare providers till the first day of the 11th month to bill the client or they cannot collect. They first told me that they had not been able to bill because they were switching invoicing systems but when I mentioned what Texas law states the lady got very defensive and then tried to tell me that they had sent invoices before. She then doubled down and implied that they would ruin my credit if I didn't pay them. When I tried to say anything after that the lady from billing hung up on me. read more

I started seeing this office back in July for sleep apnea and allergies. Did an at home sleep test per my insurance and needed a prior authorization to do the sleep study in the office. I tried off an on for six months to either get their sleep coordinator (because I never saw a physician only a PA) to provide a machine that my insurance said they would cover since I failed the at home study, but they basically refused to work with me or return my calls. Hopefully the next provider I work with will be willing to be available for a peer to peer review or just provide me with a machine so I can start living a healthier life. This place was mostly a waste of time and money. The office manager Max is never available to address concerns and always seems to "be in a meeting." When I was able to get through over the phone the staff seemed to be very dismissive of my concerns as well and "said" they gave the office manager a message to call me but never have I been so disappointed with my care. read more

This place is completely unprofessional. Every time it's OVER a 45 min wait just to be called in. Then when you want an explanation as to the very apparent over booked schedule the staff gives YOU an attitude, talks over you and raises THEIR tone. The poor lady at the front desk gets the brunt of it all and is only trying to help. We came several years ago and it was no different. I had hoped it would've changed so we came again against my better judgment. The reality is I would not mind waiting for a good clinic that actually took their time to review the issues with accurate testing and made you aware it would be a wait. For a total of 4 appointments we saw a provider less than 15 min. Not to mention the lack of accuracy doing allergy testing from a photo from an MAs cell phone none the less!! No provider physically looked at her after testing to read the results. The MA could have at least felt the area since their were multiple ones that were clearly raised but not visible on a one dimensional cell phone with poor lighting!! I took a few myself just to see and each one looks different. This kind of "testing" is medically irresponsible and just in case you're wondering they did not take photos out of caution for COVID they did it the same way a few years ago. Then the MA is so rough when giving allergy testing. My daughter is 8, I know she's scared and cries but she does the best a child can. So when the staff gets irritated and rough that is not acceptable. You shouldn't work with kids if you can sympathize with them. Your job is also try to calm and reassure them. I should not have given them another chance. I would rate a zero if it was possible and wasn't for the front desk who tried helping but was unable to. I will definitely find another place for my daughter to be seen. read more

I was referred by my doctor for a sleep consultation. A scheduling person from Texas Allergy and Breathing Centers (TABC) called me yesterday (2/3/21) to schedule an appointment. She said that the Rockwall location had an 8:00 appointment for today (2/4/21) and that they opened at 8:00 a.m. After arriving at 7:55 and waiting outside the locked office door (clearly nobody was in the office as the there were windows that showed lights were off), I decided to call TABC to find out what the situation was. By this time, it's 8:15 and two other people showed for appointments. I spoke to someone in the scheduling department and told of the situation. The TABC person put me on hold to find out why nobody was in the office and then told me that everyone was running late. Just as I hung up, an employee was walking towards us with keys. She apologized and started unlocking the door. After turning on the lights and getting the office "turned on," she called my name and asked for my insurance information. I asked jokingly if I could get a discount on my copay because of the trouble, and she apologized again for being late and told me that they do not take appointments before 8:30. Once I found that out, I asked her then why were we scheduled before 8:30 (I had an 8:00 and another person who was waiting had an 8:15 appointment--the other gentleman had a 8:30 appt); she said that she did not know why. I had a such a bad first impression that I left and called the referral coordinator for my doctor and asked her to find me another sleep center for a referral. I then called the TABC scheduling department to ask that a supervisor call me (nothing yet) and to suggest that at their next staff meeting that let it be known to all who schedule for the TABC three locations that the Rockwall location opens at 8:00 but does not take patients until 8:30--though nobody showed at the office until 8:15 ... so you might still be waiting if you are scheduled for a 8:30 in the future at the Rockwall location. read more
