If you have a sweet tooth and want a great milkshake, this needs to be your stop. Wish there was a size between the regular and large as the large is ALOT of milkshake. We ordered a regular butterscotch milkshake and a large Cinnamon Toast Crunch milkshake. The large was a lot thicker and harder to sip but was it melted a bit, it was tasty! This place is a joke The customer service has gone waaaaay down over the last few 3-4 months, and the manager is extremely rude so that gets a solid 1/10 .. The ambiance feels murky and dirty like if it hasn't been deep cleaned or even dusted in years! So they get a 1/10 for ambiance and cleanliness.. and last but not least the MOST important thing is the food quality.. I'm not sure what type of corners they're trying to cut here but the meat feels off, both flavor wise and texture wise.. somewhat a synthetic feel? Food gets a solid 2/10.. Small little restaurant in Gustine, but my goodness the food is delicious! Not only is it delicious but I felt that it was priced well and we received wonderful service. I did not get photos of the food, but I had their strawberry milkshake with a hot dog. I am giving 4/5 because the restaurant is definitely small, older, and the bathroom isn't very nice either. As a former customers we were surprised today. First ( I know all fast food restaurants are dealing with the $20 minimum wage deal) but it now has affected the food quality. So a 2 bacon cheeseburgers one order of fries ( no drinks) was $30! Next the bacon was of lower quality And way over cooked to the point of not eatable, we give our dogs leftovers at times they love bacon but wouldn't eat it! This is the state governors fault and will affect business! I've had contact with the owners and everything is being checked out and I'm assured things will taken care of. Located along Hwy 33 and 4th street (by the O'Reiley's), TBD is like a knock-off Foster's Freeze, specializing in burgers, but also serves plated dinners, fried okra (yum!!), and desserts. The SO and I have come here multiple times now as a food source because not only is the place cheap, but you get a butt-load of food for the price! SO enjoys their #15 combo, a bacon/pastrami-topped burger with crinkle fries and a drink. I usually try something new each time I order off their menu. So far, I've tried their jalapeno burger, banana split, rootbeer freeze, fried zucchini, fried okra, and their #15 combo. I loveeee their fries! They give so much, and I usually re-bake the leftover fries and they come out extra crunchy, which I like. You can also call in your order for pick-up so you don't need to wait in the hot sun outside or in their sketchy dining area inside. Friday Night (Oct 1) Ordered one Oreo shake and they gave me one with spoiled ice cream/milk. At first I thought it was just me, but my partner also said it tasted nasty and rotten. 7 kids working with unhealthy policies, some of them didn't have the masks on, the two girls at the front were handling money and not washing their hands right after; there were flies all over the dining room and the kitchen. Soooo. Food here is great. Always is. Service is awful. Person working the register wasn't listening while we were ordering inside. We were the only people in the restaurant. Had to correct them twice and they still got the order wrong. Had to remake everything. Then kids wanted icecream. Got the small cones. On the menu 1.99. Charged us 2.65 the large price. When i asked them, they said the prices just went up..... its a digital menu. Change your menu instead of just changing prices as you see fit. Lastly. Get the flys under control.
