My husband bought my ring in March 2021, stored it in our safe, and proposed in June 2021. Neither…read moreof us noticed the huge crack in the metal until about a month later. When I went back through my videos from the day he proposed, you can clearly see the crack. I took it in for repair immediately and they refused to stand behind their work. I explained it had just been sitting in a safe before I got it and that I had proof it was there when he proposed. They still charged me $75 for the repair saying "we would've never let it leave the store that way. It must've gotten smashed in the door of the safe" despite there being no damage consistent with it being crushed or banged on anything. I've lost 2 stones and 2 more cracked. The prongs for the last stone lost were actually broken off completely. Ultimately we ended up having the ring remade by another jeweler so we could improve the quality and avoid dealing with Bass all together.

If it tooks someone 2 minutes to fix it, they are moving SLOW! I needed the little loop soldered back together that holds my cross on the chain. (Btw-it's sterling silver not gold) The gentlemen was friendly - but said it would cost me about $75 because they had to turn the machine on. Needless to say I was shocked. I also enquired about a ring that has 2 small diamonds missing. I was quoted $150.00 - $20 for the 2 stones and $130 for the labor. Again...shocked. *Now here is the interesting part to this review. I called on 8.21.25 and asked how much it would be to fix my cross and said this gentlemen said "no more than $25 and would take about 1 hour. I could leave it and run an errand or two and come back." I am very confused now. I would really like to do business here but now I'm just not sure. Still on the fence... They have a little of everything here, but mostly small collectibles. On the Saturday I came, they had free punch and cookies and the old ladies at the front counter said they were having a cookie contest so we should try one and let them know which we liked the best.
