The experience I had here was ok but could have definitely been better. The salad bar was very good and had a nice variety of options. I also really enjoyed the sides that come with the meal especially the fries, plantains, mashed potatoes, and pão de queijo, which were all tasty and a highlight of the dinner. However, the meats weren't as flavorful as I expected, as if they under seasoned the meats. Some cuts were decent, but overall they didn't stand out the way I hoped they would. Service was a bit mixed. Our waitress was polite, but there seemed to be some language barrier issues, which led to a misunderstanding when we were charged for a birthday dessert after being told it would be free. To their credit, the manager came by and corrected the mistake, comped the dessert, and also applied a 10% military discount, which I appreciated. Another issue was that the churrasqueiros (the servers bringing the meats) would still approach the table even when the card was turned to "no meat." It felt like they weren't really paying attention to the signal system, which is a key part of the dining experience at a place like this. Overall, the salad bar and sides were great, but the meat quality and service consistency could be better. I used to come here regularly, during restaurant week and also yearly on my birthday. I had took a break from coming here so i decided to restart my birthday tradition and restaurant week again. I had asked the server Julieta, who spoke little to no English, if they were participating in restaurant week. She replied yes. I then explained to her it was my birthday and she said they give a birthday desert of my choice on the house. That being said we had enjoyed the salad bar though I started noticing differences. For one the bacon was a different cut. It was boasted to be the best bacon in restaurants before. Also we noticed that there was basically little to no seasoning on the cuts of meats unlike in the past. We were sat in front of the kitchen and I saw them sprinkling something on meats. I guess the cuts we got didn't get the seasoning ‍. So after we finished our meal we were surprised that our bill was regular price, not restaurant week, and that I was charged for my dessert. We had called our server trying to explain our concern but of course due to our language barrier I just asked for the manager. The manager came over and we explained our situation. He had said that they stopped doing restaurant week a few years ago, at least he acknowledged they used to, and he comped the dessert as promised. Not to sound ungrateful, though they did give military discounts they decreased it from 20% to 10%. Better than nothing. This recent experience is not discouraging me from returning, it's the lack of taste of their cuts of meats sadly. read more

It was wonderful to be able to have a reservation and to be seated so promptly that was lovely. Our server was quite amazing and took very good care of us are used. However, the best part was the food we thoroughly enjoyed the salad bar along with all the little extras that made it so delicious... I'm amazed at how much food is available on the salad bar... And then the meat... Oh goodness, that delicious meat... I cannot decide which it is the best... The place is gorgeous and the staff is super nice but this place is getting a 3 star from me which is unheard of! (I am a 5 star gal baby baby) Reason being (for a 3 star) is all the meat was salty. No one wanted the pork Parmesan and the poor fellow carrying it kept going around until pretty much closing to eat table to get someone anyone to bite. The hot Buffett food was good but I question if it was being kept at a proper hot holding temp because boy o boy I got explosive dynamite when I got home. (And if you're following my yelp you know I just gave another Brazilian steakhouse a rave review) (and the other Brazilian steakhouse did not give me explosive dynamite) They didn't bring us the banana, mash, cheese bread, and fries side dishes until towards the end of our meal. The refill for my soda was flat because they keep the soda in pitchers. Which ya no biggie to bring it to me in a pitcher but make sure it's fresh. They also use paper straws. The food and service is always top notch. My only complaint is that for Veterans they only offer a 15% discount for Memorial Day. I'll no longer support a restaurant that does not support Veterans. Both my father-in-law and I are Veterans and frequently dined at Texas de Brazil, but I can no longer support a restaurant that doesn't support Veterans. Salad bar was almost empty. Didn't refill till 20 minutes later. Our server was very nice but did not make up for the experience. We waited for 35 minutes for meats to come by our table and nothing. We had to ask our server then she put our request in with our temperature of our meats to our liking and even when they came 6 minutes later they were incorrect. Had to wait another 5 minutes till they started coming through. Till then our appetite had already been gone. Fogo is usually my last resort but this experience made Fogo seem on another level. We had this thanksgiving reservation for months. We were seated 20 minutes late as they kept saying they needed to bus our table. There was no standing room and we waited outside. It didn't make sense but all good. The salad bar was minimal. The meat servings were all the same cuts of red meat. They were either bloody rare or hockey puck done. There was no in between. They said pineapple was gone by 1pm. If we're honest, that all I was looking forward to. For the elevated price per person, this wasn't what I was hoping for my family. Next year, I won't take a cooking break. The servers were excellent and the sides of mashed potatoes, baby cheese rolls and French fries were a nice touch. read more

Brazilian Steakhouse with great decor and enthusiastic staff. The ambiance and decor is wonderful, you feel that this location is special. Reasonable size salad bar, with fewer Brazilian favorites than other Brazilian Steakhouses I have been to. The meats, as you would expect, were excellent except for one of the pork offerings which I found a little dry. I was disappointed that they did not offer Chicken Hearts - always a favorite of mine at Brazilian Steakhouses. Apart from the Pork the cuts were moist and tasty. There was a steady stream of options and our assigned server checked with us if there was a particular cut we wanted to have. For dessert we shared a cheesecake which was lighter than expected. Great place to eat, but make sure you don't fill up on too much salad/veg. Also make sure to go for smaller cuts so you can experience the range of meats on offer. read more

Just wow. This place is everything I expected and more. From the moment you walked in this place with blow you away, from the service to the food to the decor. When we arrived, our reservation was for 615 we were about 10 mins early so we went to the bar got a drink. I ordered a mango margarita and it was so delicious. I drank a total of 4 the whole night, with a tajin rim instead of salt and so yum! The bartenders were super sweet and fast as heck. Before we could finish paying they were already calling our name to go sit down at our table. Our table was literally right next to the salad bar. The salad bar was packed with so many yummy food options to chose from such as tabbouleh, fresh mozzarella, green and black olives, three types of lettuces, tomatoes, a few meats with cheeses, asparagus, a few salad dressing and to much more to list. Then there was a hot bar that had black beans, rice, this creamy shrimp thing( that was absolutely delicious) and lobster bisque. I didn't try the lobster bisque just because I'm not a lobster fan. Our server was amazing. She kept our drinks filled. Then more food was brought to our table this Brazilian cheese bread that was my favorite, fries, mashed potatoes and cinnamon sugar fried bananas that I looooved! Then when you were ready for the meats you flipped your card from red to green and let me tell you when you flip that card get ready for the meat because it comes like lighting. We got chicken wrapped bacon, that was so juicy and tender and full of flavor, filet mignon, this also was so tender and juicy and perfect flavoring, filet mignon wrapped bacon, this was good but not my favorite. For some reason beef wrapped in bacon just isn't my favorite. Parmesan pork came by and that was our least favorite, it was really dry. I believe too sirloin was another and it was so so tender and juicy. Lamb was another one, I loved this one because it wasn't gamey and again tender and juicy. Then shrimp and sausage we tried last and I loved the shrimp that was definitely my 2nd favorite. The sausage was delicious too. We ate so much meat we had to flip our card back to red lol. Then lastly was dessert. There was over like 9 options and we ended up closing flan and this chocolate moose cake one and they were both so delicious. This is for sure a special occasion restaurant. The food is good, and the ambiance is beautiful. The wait staff and the chefs that walk around with their meat on skewers are outstanding. We were here from out of town, and treated our daughter and son-in-law to dinner. They don't offer a menu with prices so sticker shock hit us with a hefty bill at the end of the meal. For the four of us the bill came to $270. We didn't order alcohol or dessert, just 2 bottles of sparkling mineral water. Some people might not bat an eyelash but we aren't used to paying this much for dinner. Sure it is all you can eat, but you can only eat so much without feeling uncomfortable. We concluded this will be our last visit here. They priced us out. We can have just as great a dining experience elsewhere for a fraction of the price. read more

First time here! Restaurant was very nice with lots of decorations and seating. Restaurant was packed on a Friday night. Salad bar has a variety of options from salad fixings, soups, veggies, charcuterie board type items, etc. The green light/red light card system for getting meats was fun. Once you change your card to green, be prepared to be served. It was a little hard to know what some of the meats were and what you might like but the staff were very kind and happy to tell you. There was never any issue with turning away some of the meats in case you only want filet mignon or something specific. You are definitely paying for the experience , so probably won't be back for awhile unless there is a special occasion. read more

We came here to celebrate me and my twin sisters birthday, and the experience was underwhelming. We had emails for $20 off for our birthday, and at first, they were not going to honor them because it was Saturday, and they said that they don't accept coupons on the weekend. That is the weirdest thing, and nowhere on the coupon did it say that. Thankfully, they end up honoring them for us. We made a reservation in advance, and our table was directly in front of the kitchen, where they were cooking the meat. The floor was so slick, I almost fell. My nephew fell because of it, we all walked like we're on ice trying not to fall. We asked them why it was slick, and they said because of the meat, that seems like a huge safety hazard. With people walking around with big knives cutting meat, that seems so dangerous to not address. After being sat, our waitress got our drink orders, and we got a pitcher of mango Brazilian lemonade to share. We then went to the salad bar, and the Brazilian vinaigrette was good. I liked how it had vegetables in the dressing. The bacon was cold, and the pineapple, too. Because the pineapple was grilled, we expected it to be warm. The salad bar was small, but everything was fresh and clean. They had many different meats being brought to the table. They also brought out mashed potatoes, fries, cheese bread, and plantains to share, which was a surprise. Our favorite meat was the top sirloin, they even asked how we liked our meat cooked. Because we were directly outside the kitchen, the meat came to us first, so we filled up very quickly. They are very good at getting meat to you, but our waitress would disappear and never come to check on us. We wanted refills on drinks, and we had to flag her down to get them. And when we wanted to pay, finding her again was hard. For the price of the food this place isn't worth it, better off going to Tucanos. read more

I felt both were very big servings. it came with two sides so I picked my favorites tabouleh and couscous. Of course the cheese bread is always delicious. 10 seconds in the microwave fixed any delivery coldness. The fried bananas is a nice portion. This was the small size! This is really an awesome deal. It'll be at least 2 to 3 meals for me. Still a great place to go for a party or an evening out. But if I just have a hankering for their food to go is the way to go! read more

Our hostess and trainee did a great job explaining the process of their "Stop & Go" cards and the open salad bar area. Everything tasted wonderful! You pretty much get to choose what you do want and don't want so you can't be too disappointed. We were advised that they use their signature salt and pepper rubs so that explains why some meat items were salty. Half of our table requested Medium and the other half requested Medium rare, but some of the pieces were definitely not Medium. Be mindful of the cut/piece you get in case you don't like more pink! You can also ask the servers for a cut from a different section of the meat and they easily accommodate your request. I was expecting to give this restaurant a 5 star review. I have it a 4 due to the server. The salad bar is beyond amazing with many choices. I loved the shrimp salad and veggies and pineapple!! The drinks were good and they had a drink special. But the meats!!! They were top notch and plentiful!!!! They kept bringing out new delicacies!! I liked the chicken, lamb and all the beef choices! The hot foods on the salad bar were so very tasty, especially the mushrooms and rice. Now, the server had to be brand new and still getting used to the fast pace. We waited almost 30 minutes for our drinks, I had to get a manager to find out where our server was, he just disappeared. He didn't bring us the cheese bread basket or the mashed potatoes to the table. He never checked on us. He never refilled our waters. The meat was really tasty and they servers were constantly coming and go all the time. Our waiter was very experienced and very helpful and always brought us water and drinks all the time. The atmosphere is ok since it gets really crowded so best time to go it's between 5-6pm. If you think this is a high end restaurant then your are wrong because they don't have a dress code, so you can go there wearing your pajamas if you're want lol, I didn't like that because made my experience a little less enjoy full. Make sure you come hungry when dining at Texas de Brazil. Great for large groups of carnivores, this Brazilian Steakhouse has a lot of locations. Vegetarians, this is not the place for you - do not waste your money because they charge per seat. For the salad bar area, I strongly recommend the Manchego sheep cheese, roasted bell peppers, cucumber salad, marinated artichoke hearts, and cherry tomatoes. The garlic cloves have a strong taste to them, like maybe they weren't cooked enough for my liking, but they are a good complement for the meat dishes - just don't try and eat them on their own. Only get the hot mushrooms if you enjoy gravy. At the salad bar, make sure you also pick up a ramekin of the green chimichurri sauce so that you have it ready to go when they come around with the lamb chops. They give you a two-sided coaster to let them know if you'd like more meat as they come around with a variety of meats on skewers. Do not feel pressure to take a meat if you don't want it, and you're allowed to ask for certain cuts of the meat (rare vs well done, etc). My favorite was the lamb chops - perfectly cooked and still on the bone with a lot of savory flavor(y). My next favorites were the garlic steak and filet mignon. I didn't love the bacon wrapped filet because it was too salty for me, but other people enjoyed it. The Brazilian Sausage was also really good, especially for a sausage, and almost reminded me of Kielbasa sausage. read more

Sometimes so packed that it is difficult to get out of your chair bc the table next to you is that close. That was our situation this time and our table was wobbly, couldn't lean on the table or else it would shift. We notified a staff member and they never came back or helped us with the table. Tried moving it, tried slipping something underneath it to see if that helped but it didnt help at all. The meat variety this time was weak. This is a nice restaurant. We flew in from LA to celebrate my brother's birthday (who lives here). GOOD: The ribs were good. The sides were good. The plantains were good. The service is good and friendly. NOT SO GOOD: There wasn't as much of a meat variety as I am accustomed to at a Brazilian Steakhouses. They didn't have rib eye as an option. So when the filet mignon was brought to our table, it was so salty I couldn't eat it. The top sirloin was dry. The salad bar was shut down before I knew I was done.
