I rented electric recliner for a month for recuperating. The Employees that I encountered were, amazing, offered suggestions when I couldn't figure out what I needed to be done or what I needed.. I was going through a lot of anxiety and I just felt like they took care of me. I went ahead and had the chair delivered to my house, even though it was extra money to do that it was well worth it. Horrible Pharmacy. Wife had ACL surgery early afternoon & medication was sent in for them to have ready. Showed up to pick up & they didn't even see request and said it would be ready in hour. No notification was sent. Got there 8:58 in hope that they would have it and they had closed. Tried to get them to get meds & was denied. HORRIBLE pharmacy employees. All of them! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SUPPY COMPANY After a year of waiting on approval from my insurance company, Comfort And Care refused to service my disable adult son a unique formula for his developmental needs. The doctor and insurance company stated this unique milk was necessary for his growth and medical needs. Comfort Care stated they have the tight to deny the service to oral adults according to their policies. In other words they can choose who they can supply service to. I think this is called discrimination. The supervisors at this company do not care if it is medically necessary or not. I will continue to advocate for adults with disabilities regarding companies like Comfort And Care that only care about getting paid from insurance companies but disregard the need of the disable. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but I love this place. I came from out of state to spend time with my grandma and mother but needed to get my glasses fixed. The owner was not only incredibly nice but fixed my glasses out of the kindness of his heart. He even showed us his adorable niece who was such a sweetheart, I highly recommend. read more

Do not rent from them! Weekly rental fee was charged when the item was returned within 3 days...the inside lady stated she would only charge the restock fee and one day rental but instead they charged me for a weeks rental. Which was only 50 less than the monthly rental charged! The geriatric chair is not comfortable and if you love your relative you would not put them in that chair. The chair was not ready when we went to pick it up and we had to wait for an extra hour for it to get ready to pick up. It is awful for a company to refuse to honor what their employee promises especially when their business is directed toward those who are in a vulnerable state. read more

The most horrible man I ever met. He charged me $200. Dollars to give me my refund on a scooter I never got. He was out of town and kept putting me off to get my scooter I had paid in advance. He lied that it was bank fees I called the bank in front of him they told him they don't charge fees. He then said it was cancelation I never even saw the scooter. Being a short person, I often forget just how difficult post-surgery needs of those over 6'4 can be. My son was recovering from an ACL reconstruction and, well, EVERYTHING in my house is too short. I called Texas Medical Supply on a whim looking for an extra long medical bed with upgraded mattress. They had one but were booked for deliveries for the day. After explaining, they put us on the schedule and were here in a matter of hours (late afternoon on a Saturday). Pricing was transparent and about 20% less than the other online quote I received from one of their competitors. While I wish a weekly rental was an option, honestly it wasn't that much different! I hadn't finished moving our living room around when the delivery driver showed up. He just pitched in and helped move rugs, furniture, etc. He put together the bed, taught us how to use it, and insisted we test it. It is PERFECT. I'll use Texas Medical Supply in the future (knock on wood that we won't actually NEED their services though). They were wonderful! read more

Our experience with Texas Medical Supply was not a pleasant one at all. We rented an electric-operated hospital bed on a monthly basis for my wife during her recuperation from a severe injury, with the expectation we would need it for 2 months. It was delivered by a man in an old beat-up truck, accompanied by his little boy of maybe 10. During assembly of the bed in our master bedroom the side rails were badly bent and warped and wouldn't fit into their retainers. The delivery man proceeded to use various parts of the bed to bend and straighten the rails until he could get them to fit where they were supposed to. That was a little concerning. Then he was supposed to give an explanation of how the controls and bed functions worked, and a demonstration, but that was somewhat ineffective as he could only speak a little bit of English. We figured it all out though after he left. After trying to sleep in the bed for 4 nights the mattress was just too extremely uncomfortable and made an awful racket with every small body movement from the heavy rigid plastic cover on it. We called the company to come pick up the bed, and asked if they would convert the rental rate from monthly to weekly since we used it less than a week. The lady on the phone was suddenly very unpleasant and curtly said there was no way they would do that. We'd "paid for a month and that's what we were going to be charged for." It was very obvious it would be useless to plead for consideration so we accepted. After a bit of on-line research that we should have done sooner we found a better bed to rent. It was a slightly higher rate but a much better bed and experience. read more

I am a caregiver and wife of a disabled male adult. We were referred to Texas Medical going to rent a scooter for vacation. We pre-registered for the scooter-picked it up as promised but on our much anticipated vacation-it did not keep a charge. We had to keep coming back to the room to charge it with a charger from guest services because the one that came with the scooter did not keep a charge. This was on our 1st full day on vacation. Needless to say, my husband had a hard time enjoying the trip and had to keep checking to see if the battery was available for charging. This made a huge impact on our trip. My husband cannot walk and his mobility is limited. Now Texas Medical charged our acct for the battery charger. This was not something we even knew that was wrong with the scooter until we were in the middle of the ocean and could not contact Texas Medical. We had to rent a wheelchair just to get around until we got the scooter charged completely. When we returned the scooter two days later the rep. called and said," it looked like it was our fault and charged our card 189$" without our knowledge or authorization. This was not fair and a person who is disabled and cannot advocate for their rights should not have to deal with such red tape. Signed a no go-go scooter! read more

My mother rented a lift chair from this company as a precautionary measure prior to a medical procedure. Thankfully, she barely used the chair, and it was returned in the condition it was received. Today she received a call saying that she would be charged an $80 "cleaning fee" for returning the chair dirty, and that it would be "their word against ours" if the chair was dirty or not. Avoid this unprofessional and scam of a company at all costs, and check your credit card statements after renting. They might charge you without notice. This has been an extremely upsetting experience for our family, and I will be posting this review across multiple platforms. read more

I came here to purchase some handicap ramps to assist with bringing a wheelchair through a front door at a home. They were so friendly and helpful. I was super impressed. They care a lot for their customers and I saw it with my service as well as others that came in while I was there. She helped me decide on which ramps I needed by looking over the pictures of the door and measurements I had. I wasn't sure if one of the ramps was going to work, so she suggested I rent instead of buy. I did just that and the ramp was too long, brought it back immediately and she gave me a refund for the rental charge. I would recommend this place to anyone needing their services. Equipment rented was clean and functioned perfectly. Delivery personnel adjusted equipment delivered to ensure it functioned best for me. Phone conversations were informative and friendly. Absurd customer service!! Found an item listed on their website for $42.99. Called to make sure that it was in stock and it was. Went to the store and saw the it was priced $52.99. I pointed out to the cashier the difference in price. She asked me if I had a print out, and I told her no but I could pull it up on my phone. She then said that the only way she could honor the price was if I had a printed out copy. I again pointed out that it was "their" website not a competitors. She said that it was her boss's policy and that she did not necessarily agree, but she was just doing what she was told. Clearly this business is not focused on customer satisfaction, and is just trying to take you for as much as they can get away with. Stay away...... read more

If you could give this company a zero Stars I would! I was traveling from Florida to Texas and didn't want to take my expensive motorized chair on the plane because they have damaged it in the past and once it's damaged even though they fix it it's never the same again. So I decided to save myself the aggravation and rent a motorized chair Once I arrived in Houston. I looked online and Texas medical supply seems to have a good Supply and choice of chairs. so I chose this company, big mistake! The chair that I saw online was not the chair that was delivered to my hotel. The chair that was delivered to my hotel was so beat up that it was undrivable. My legs don't work at all so it's very important for me to have an operable motorized chair. This chair that they left for me had a seat that was so loose that I almost fell out when I went to transfer into my hotel chair and the wheels were torn up the armrest were torn up I couldn't drive it at all I drove it from the lobby to the room and then had to call another company on a Sunday afternoon and I was lucky enough to find someone to bring me another wheelchair. To top it off the company still charged me the full amount for a chair I never used and then fought my bank when they tried to take the money back. I had taken pictures and one and receive the full amount back from my bank they found that this company was egregious and that the chair was in horrible condition. Do not trust this company!! I only wish I could post the pictures of the chair so that everyone could see what shoddy equipment this company passes off as reliable medical equipment. read more
