Texas Pho was disappointing and misleading at best. The "large" bowl had very little noodles and barely any meat, yet cost $18. On top of that, there was a $5 charge just for getting a small bowl to share with my child a so-called "bowl convenience fee." I've never seen another restaurant charge extra just to share soup. First time for that. The pho itself was also underwhelming. The broth tasted like chicken broth rather than traditional beef broth, which was not what I expected. The only decent part was the fresh coconut it is fresh. However, once you drink it, the coconut skin is left inside the shell. They don't offer to open it or remove the skin, and instead suggested we take it home to deal with ourselves. Overall, overpriced, small portions, unexpected fees, and poor customer experience. Would not return.

The food is amazing! The portion is great! I love the plants around the restaurant. Servers are ok. Definitely will be back.

This restaurant is just few blocks off the highway near several other Asian style restaurant. This place is very spacious and also looks like it has a small market during the business week. Menu covers all the Vietnamese foods you can think of, along with many versions of Pho. We went on a Sunday after church and the service was very nice and they answered all of our questions just fine, but it felt very factory style with not much sincerity behind it. The food came right out so this place is pretty fast and we didn't feel left alone here as they checked on us an adequate amount of times. I got the Pho with a rib in it and I'd say it is what one should expect not much more or less. My wife got the chicken pho and the kids each shared our pho and some shrimp spring rolls as well as the Vietnamese crispy rolls. The bowls are more than enough to share. A good spot for families and as I mentioned lots of room for big groups. The vibe I get is that it is a great spot for later dinner and the younger crowd, with service from 10:00-22:00. Bill was in the $70s after all was said and done which is probably decent value with today's prices. Still, the meals are big enough to share and if my kids weren't siblings they would have shared more to keep the prices down....LOL

Stopped by this weekend for some Vietnamese comfort food and tried the chicken pho. The broth was hot, flavorful, and came with a generous portion of tender chicken breast. However, I found myself wishing it had more cilantro and green onions on top. Those fresh herbs really elevate the flavor and give pho its signature brightness. Overall, it was a solid bowl, but a bit more attention to the garnishes would take it to the next level. I'd still recommend it, and I hope the staff considers adding a little extra for future bowls. Your visitors would appreciate it.

    The spoiled pork

I ordered pork fried rice, but the pork tasted spoiled and not fresh at all. When I brought this to the staff's attention, instead of apologizing or asking about the issue, they simply brought the bill and offered only a $1 discount rather than addressing the problem or replacing the dish. I've been a regular customer here, so this experience was very disappointing. Both the quality of the food and the way the situation was handled fell far below expectations

Gotta stop trying out new restaurants on Postmates. Only positive thing they actually gave you one small piece of pork blood in the bun bo hue All the broths were very watery. Gave no shrimp paste for the bun rieu. The bo la lot has a weird cheap texture kinda looks like pork. Banh mi was okay. But all in all naw Idk why they wouldn't give you any mam tom. Maybe the chef has a sensitive pallet Wouldn't recommend

I've been here a few times and honestly, it's not bad but I've had some more authentic pho elsewhere. Overall, their pho is pretty good in the area. There is a large selection of foods to choose from and they also sell some desserts or appetizers like egg rolls and spring rolls separately. This restaurant is huge, way bigger than I expected and very Asian inspired with greenery and statues. Overall service is good, servers are attentive and respectful. If you're in the are, I recommended checking it out. Till then, let's eat!

Nastiest Pho I've ever had honestly and I've been around! I say take a trip down the road to simply pho in Celina while the both here as well as noodles and chicken are simply distasteful, I haven't been this unsatisfied in a long time to the point where I need to write a review to save yall money and time! I'd definitely skip this spot if your looking to actually enjoy your meal.

Their bola lot is excellent. Their pho has pretty good flavor. Their fried rice is good with lots of meats. Service is better than most viet restaurants

Small bowl of pho. It is actually smaller in person. It's just a close up.

This restaurant is not family/kids friendly. Poor service. We spend $98 for drink and pho. Pho broth taste like water. Given 1 star due to service. From the moment the owner/manager came and took a menu from us b/c he is scared of a 10 month old but break it. Then throughout our dinning he kept walking back and forth to make sure that we did not drop a crumb when feeding our 10 months old. We have class. So we make sure there's not a mess for the staffs to clean. We decided to tip them $20 CASH but our decision changed when the manager CHASED us outside asking if the service was good. My answer was NO.

I ordered the spicy beef pho, and to my surprise, it was so yummy and delicious. The restaurant is clean and zen. I love the ambiance and decor. The environment is zen and inviting. We were seated immediately, and lunch was served shortly after. The prices are a little high. But the pho is good.

Grilled pork sausage Spring Rolls. Look at the thinly sliced piece of meat!!!

This is ridiculous. I paid $6.95 plus tax for two thinly sliced of grilled pork sausage paper. The ratio of meat to veggies is just ridiculous

I love subs! Was anxious to try. I arrived at Jon's and…read moreupon entering I noticed that it did not smell like fresh baked bread or subs. It had the smell of old grease which I thought was a little off putting but needless to say, I decided to go ahead and give ut a shot, so ordered the Italian sub minus the pickles because I'm not a big fan of pickles on the Italian sub.. it looked great but as soon as I took a bite, the bread completely fell apart in the center and then I also noticed that the meat was very thick and I didn't love that .. I took a few more bites and didn't finish. Bread seemed stale didn't love the taste and it was very messy as a result of bread crumbling and falling apart so way to difficult to eat additionally some of the meat was tough with too much fat for my liking. Just didn't do it for me! Some may like though .. counter service was friendly so no complaints there .. sub was a bit over $9 for a 6 inch.

My son had a hankering for a Cuban sandwich and I didn't feel like driving out to Richardson,…read moreCarrollton or McKinney to pick up one from an actual Cuban restaurant so we stopped at Jon Smith Subs. We were warmly greeted by staff as soon as we walked in. We were given a brief explanation of the menu afterwards we placed our order. As expected my son ordered the Cuban sandwich with extra pickles, he opted for the combo that added either fries or a bag of chips and a drink, my son chose the fries. We sat in the dining area while waiting for our order. The dining area was very clean and spacious. After a short wait, our food was delivered to our table. When we were leaving the clerk held the door for us, which I thought was very nice. My son snacked on his fries on the way home and he commented about how fresh and hot the fries were. Once home he opened the sandwich and was happy to see the extra pickles he requested. The sandwich was a bit larger than the ones from other places. He said it was very tasty, his only gripe was the amount of mayonnaise, it was too much for him. Other than that small issue, he said he enjoyed the sandwich and would definitely visit the place again. I can't wait to try out some of their menu items in the future!
