My family is visiting from out of town for a soccer tournament for my son. We went to this restaurant and had a top rated customer service experience in what could have been a poor experience. It was very busy and we did not make a reservation/check in online. We waited the disclosed 30-40 minutes for a table and were sat within that time. We were sat with our bread and the delicious cinnamon butter... so even though we waited when we arrived, we were able to eat something right away. Our waitress immediately took our drink order. She returned promptly and then was gone taking care of others. We ordered our food, which, in addition to two other meals, included two filets, three salads, and a loaded sweet potato. While we were waiting, we were told there was a delay on the sweet potato and we requested more bread. It was brought out quickly. Our meals came out about 30 minutes after our order. An error was made and our salads did not arrive prior to our main course. The sweet potato was also not yet ready which the runner let us know immediately and let us know she would quickly check on the salads for us. I had one of the filets and my daughter, sitting next to me, had the other. When I cut into my filet, it was unfortunately not a desired piece of meat. Needless to say I was disappointed. The runner returned quickly with our salads and I was able to return my steak. Everyone else's food was delicious. The waitress came to check on us minutes later and saw that the sweet potato and steak were not yet at the table. I explained my issue and she apologized and said she would check on it immediately. Within minutes a supervisor/manager came over and said she knew about the problem and they were getting me a new steak as soon as possible. My sweet potato arrived and it was delicious. Then my new steak came out. Wow was it cooked perfectly and a great cut of meat! The manager came out as I was sharing some with my family. She was very courteous. I was so impressed with the attention by all staff when there was a problem and the effort they put forth to give us a good experience ... which we had. I wanted to say thank you again and commend the team at this location. Having a good experience when everything is perfect is easy and expected. Having a good experience when there are problems is difficult and this team handled it very well! We will definitely return and I recommend this location and team to any travelers looking for a filling meal and great customer service! read more

Not gonna lie I was not impressed with our visit. I ordered the 6 oz sirloin and half of it was nothing but fat, way too chewy. The loaded mashed potatoes had a pound of sour cream on top I had to scoop most of it off just so I could have actual potatoes to eat, not to mention that the cheese was not melted, and the bacon bits were way overcooked. The potatoes themselves were lukewarm, not even hot. My fiance got the chicken critters with green beans and broccoli... the green beans were just floating in water as if they were just dumped from a can and thrown in a bowl and microwaved. My dad ordered a 14 oz porterhouse, and again half of it was fat. $28 for a steak he couldn't even eat half of it. Way too overpriced for very below average food. read more

There were 6 of us in our party and I used the call ahead seating on Sunday. This location has only been open for 6 days and was extremely busy but we were able to be seated after our party arrived in a large booth which was roomy for all of us. Our server was Ryan who I highly recommend.He was very friendly and helpful with the menu options. I had the smothered chicken and my husband had the chicken Dijon which both included 2 sides and hot rolls. Highly recommend this restaurant. read more

I hate having to leave this type of review. However, I have to. My wife and I decided to go to dinner and since it had been a while, we decided we would go to the Texas roadhouse. Unfortunately, it was not a very good experience. The only highlight was our waitress. She was very nice and pleasant. The food, we were told was supposed to be out in 17 to 22 minutes. 40 minutes later, we finally received our food as the manager came out and told us that somehow they had lost our order, and they were rushing it through. My wife and I are eating very clean right now, so no gluten and no dairy. Our order consisted of 8 ounce New York strip, steamed broccoli and carrots and a sweet potato no butter with cinnamon. Without asking or looking at what we had ordered, the manager tried to be proactive and brought us a free onion appetizer as an attempt at an apology. This is an onion covered in batter and deep fried in oil, ie lots of gluten, so we didn't eat it and the Manager had to take it away. When our food finally came you could tell it was rushed as the steamed vegetables were only half steamed - very crunchy. Next, the New York strip steak. You could tell was a 16 ounce steak that had been cut in half which leaves you with two 8 ounce pieces of meat. One of them a full 8 ounces marbled well with a fat rind. The other you get a 5 ounce piece of steak with a 3 ounce chunk of fat cap on one end. Guess which one I got. Yep the fat cap, so my $20 got me $15 worth of meat. Good news! The steaks were cooked a perfect medium rare. That was nice, but overall it was a very busy night and it was not a very good experience. Instead of crediting anything to our account for the dinner, we received a $20 gift certificate for the next time we visit, however after this experience, I'm not so sure I will be back. I placed a to go order on 5/16/26 at 6:29 pm The estimated pickup time was 6:57pm I didnt get the text that my order was ready until 7:11pm. I had to wait at least another 5 mins in line to pick up my food as there was 2 cars ahead of me. My steak kabob meal was cold & the portion of rice was very minimal. Also, I received this text when I placed my order: "Thanks for ordering. Once here, please park until you receive your Order Ready text. Text STOP to opt out TXRH" It was unclear on where to park I assumed that there would be some "to go order" parking spots so I circled the parking lot looking for these spots only to finally ask a worker and was told there is no section in the parking lot for to go order parking. Overall my order took longer than estimated and my meal was cold and the portion of rice was very minimal. I normally order this exact meal at the Texas Roadhouse Portage, MI location so I know what to expect portion & timely wise. And that location has clear designated parking spots for to go orders. Due to waiting so long for my order and have two hungry children in the car & needing to get back on the road I didn't get a chance to snap a photo of my order or go inside to share my concerns. read more

Typically TR is on point but this location was far from. 3 steaks ordered at our table, well, rare, medium. 30 minutes later(no nothing special in our order nor was it busy) and all of our steaks came out cold. I abhor cold expensive subpar food. On a positive note, the service seemed good I mean seemed as long as they got our food out there on time it didn't seem like they were dillydallying. The manager did come out to check on us so that was good. I've looked at the other reviews and I'm astonished at the fives because honestly, I don't remember looking around the restaurant and now that I think about it I don't recall seeing a whole lot of people with their food. Been here a few times. It's always so busy but I'm not sure why. First, our waitress needs training with customer interface. She wasn't rude but she just doesn't communicate well. Very dismissive and never just shows up to our table unless we flag her down. Second, my man's prime rib was suppose to be medium. Came out raw--bright red and dripping with blood. The food was dropped at our table and they bolted. Had to flag down our waitress finally after 20 minutes to have it sent back. 25 minutes later after flagging her down again we finally got the final product. He had cut his meat in two before it was sent back but only one piece came back. They had clearly put it on the fryer and cooked it to leather. They did ask him to cut into it but at that point we were ready to go so he told them it was overdone but that is fine just bring us boxes. So his $35 meal consisted of steak fries and mashed potatoes and the rest of my very dry overcooked ribs. Sorry, not sorry, Texas Roadhouse but we will be returning to Finley's. read more

Overall pretty lackluster. Ordered takeout a few hours in advance and it took around 40 minutes beyond the scheduled time for the order to be ready. No rolls were available to be ordered, no rolls were included with any of the meals even though it said they're would be. Cinnamon butter was provided, though. Received an empty sauce cup in the fried onion appetizer, but no sauce for it. The food was fine, but nothing to write home about, and certainly not worth the $110+ for three meals. This is the first time that we came to the new location here in Battle Creek, it was just two of us and we spent $91 on three appetizers and two meals. Our food came out cold. Our steaks were cooked medium, but were some of the toughest steaks I've ever had, our potatoes were cold. The shrimp was cold and the steak was lukewarm, and there was no flavor whatsoever severely disappointed will not be back. Also, I don't know if they were shortstaffed or what I counted many servers. Had to wait, was told 10-15 minutes and ended up being much longer. Came close to leaving because of it and also other couples that came in after us were seated before us. The waitress's were very good...very attentive. My husband ordered rack of ribs and I ordered a 16oz. ribeye steak....husband enjoyed his meal but for me a $30.00 steak was cooked correctly but there was so much fat on it that by the time you cut it off you didn't have much of a steak, and the steak was so thin. I usually order a larger steak so I can take part of it home and then slice in half to make sandwiches for my husband and I which I wasn't able to. I visited the restaurant the second day it was open, we had reservations and were seated quickly. I ordered a 14 oz ribeye, with mushrooms and no onions, I also ordered the salad with honey French dressing on the side and a sweet potato. Everyone in our group received their salads except mine. I waited for several minutes before the waitstaff checked back, and I reminded them that I hadn't received my salad yet. More time passed and everyone else at my table was finished with their salads. A manager stopped by, and I again requested my salad. She said she would check on it. Several minutes later I made the same request to another staff person who checked in on our table, and I again requested the salad. Then my steak arrived smothered in onions instead of mushrooms, and I pointed that out to the staff person who delivered it. Then my salad arrived with covered with ranch dressing instead of French dressing. They also asked if I wanted to return the steak? Since everyone else had half eaten their orders, I said I would scrape off the onions and keep it if they could bring the mushrooms. The steak was cooked to perfection, but it was not as tasty after being coated with the onions. I heard two waitresses talking about my order and they said, "This poor guy has had everything screwed up!" They brought the French dressing when we were finished eating and had already paid the bill. The staff was apologetic but made no offer for any compensation. All the staff were very friendly and I normally really like the food. I realize that this was only the second day after opening the new restaurant, but I found it disappointing that so many parts of my order got messed up. I love the steaks and rolls at Texas Roadhouse and I will return here in hopes that future meals will be served as ordered. read more
