When someone invites you to Texas Roadhouse the answer is always a yes. I can't get enough of the butter and rolls. My steak was perfect and the mash potatoes was good. I don't know why i always get the strawberry margarita and forget that I dont like the syrup. We did the call ahead seating and waited about 45 minutes before our table was ready which is normal for there. So I just want to take a minute out of my day to recognize a couple of ladies here who chose to go out of there to help me have a decent experience!!! I walked in and was sat immediately thanks to the hostess up front (Becky). My son and I kind of sat, waiting to be greeted. Not an exact count but I believe about 10 mins had passed. A few tables had been sat around me, greeted, even able to make food orders. Depending on the server. I've work in the industry for a while. So I try to be as non controversial as possible. Never know what's happening behind the scenes. I walked back up front to let Becky know I hadn't been greeted yet, sat a few more minutes before she notified me our server was on the way. Well (Kourtney) I believe her name was, the bartender, pops around and took over. Got our orders and drinks to us pretty fast. Went there tonight. Ordered two steaks. One was right. One was very wrong. My husband only eats well done steak. The steak was red on the inside so they took it back to put it back on the grill. It took about 15 minutes before it came back And nothing had changed. I don't think they put it back on the grill. I think they forgot and just brought it back. So at this point I was almost finished eating so he decided to just not take the steak . they took the steak off the bill, but they didn't even comp his drink which was just a tea so we ordered a salad for him to take home and eat. It was a fried chicken salad. The salad came out and a to go box like we asked. But there was no chicken in it! A chicken salad with no chicken. Unbelievable at any rate we probably won't go back there because they really had a difficult time getting our meals right and then they charged us for playing a game on the machine and we didn't play the game. read more

I love Texas Roadhouse. I have never had a bad meal here. This place is always crowded and always slammed with hungry people. The reason is because everyone loves the roadhouse. I mean what is not to love? They have steak, ribs, chicken, beer, peanuts, sports, and friendly waitresses. This place has it all. My family and I love going here and I usually get the Sirloin steak meal deal. I get 10 ounce steak, baked potato, and house salad. Can't go wrong with it. Two of my friends and I ate at your restaurant tonight. One of my friends could not chew the steak, the other friend had a too salty steak and parts of mine were inedible. The music was so loud people were shouting to be heard over it and the three of us could not hear each other from opposite sides of the table. We asked that the music be turned down but it was still loud when we left. We have eaten there before and it wasn't quite that loud. We will not be eating there again. When we showed up, there was a delay on bread. Then, the chili was lukewarm with completely un-melted cheese. Our server, (James?) seemed put out when I asked to get it heated. Then brought it back, boiled over, and with the original bowl set into a new one. The wife ordered a sandwich that came out wrong and then she waited like 7 minutes for mayo and pickle, meaning her food was cold. Then our server got smart asking if we had enough mayo and pickle when he could see the extra still sitting on the table. The wife had to request another drink as hers had set there empty. The ketchup at the table was still sealed and even though I had shown my VA ID, the discount was not applied, requiring us to wait even longer. We tried calling the store first thing the second day after our visit, only to sit waiting for 12 minutes and then get hung up on. It was an extremely busy Thursday night and I sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly even being as busy as she was( she was the only bartender for the entire restaurant). She didn't miss a beat. I ordered my 12oz ribeye rare and the first one was brought out med well. I showed her my steak she apologized and sent it back to the kitchen. My next one came out perfectly rare. The manager came by and again apologized which I thanked him for. Went in around 2pm, the place was not busy, I sat at the bar to hopefully get faster service. No bartender for 5 minutes, I ordered a beer, it was flat, it arrived 5 minutes later. I ordered the fried pickles, I waited another 10 minutes for her to come back so I could tell her about the beer and order an entree, but she was talking to 2 other employees and was too busy to help. When we walked in it was very busy, which is to be expected on a Sunday evening. We weren't greeted at the host stand and had to ask for a table after realizing the hostess wasn't going to speak first. She told us it was a 30-40 minute wait which is understandable for dinner rush. We were put on the waitlist which had a very useful text feature that would text the number you provide when your table is ready. The wait time was almost 35 minutes on the dot, so the time they gave was accurate. When I received the text message, we approached the host stand and again had to address the hostess first. Once she asked the name for the table. She immediately started talking to another guest. That's when the other person behind the stand asked our name again. No communication after that. I was so lost until who I could only assume was the person that takes us to our table approached, he again asked my name, and then walked away to the kitchen. After about five minutes he approached again with a basket of biscuits, said my name, and then walked to the dining room. We just assumed that he was leading us to our table, still no communication. Once at our table we were greeted by Trent, who was very personable. He got us our drinks very quickly, and was on it with the appetizer order. We were only there for appetizer sampling and he was so understanding of that. We ordered the cactus blossom which was hot and crispy when it arrived. Trent did an amazing job at filling up our drinks almost immediately after they were empty. He also paid great attention to whenever we were out of biscuits. Our salad had cherry tomatoes and hardly any cheese. The croutons weren't the yummy ones they are known for. Seemed like they are subbing a lot of their ingredients for lesser ones. Placed a to go order online on a Saturday afternoon. Was given a time the food would be ready for pickup. Arrived about 5 minutes early, and texted the number to alert them. While waiting, I saw an employee bring out food to another car that was waiting when I pulled up. This employee was wearing a mask. Our food was brought out by an umasked employee 10-15 minutes after the pickup time. Mind you, I donned a mask to protect the employee. Unfortunately, I wasn't given the same courtesy. The rolls were hard and not up to their normal deliciousness. The beloved creole mustard sauce that comes with the catfish dinner was not included even though it was checked during the ordering process. We had Web Order#92 tonight, half slab ribs with boneless wings appetizer, and strawberry cheesecake. My issue is not with the food, it was delicious, rather, the things I have issue with are the following: Missing bleu cheese for the wings & missing plastic ware. I find this especially irritating for the fact that I left a tip for a prepaid order that was obviously not checked by the staff. The biggest issue I have is that there is no off duty security officer to control traffic because patrons partially block the handicap spaces (which I use), and patron vehicles line the the entrance driveway so that there is only one lane open. It's obvious that someone is not doing their job properly at this location. The food..it was worth what we paid. I had the filet with salad and mushrooms. My steak was over cooked but was quickly replaced for one prepared to the right temperature. I did like the sautéed mushrooms although they were cold..probably would've been better hot. The overall atmosphere is loud and somewhat chaotic in the evening. Avoid being seated near the center of the restaurant around the bar (not in the bar area) as it's a high traffic area. Our experience here wasn't great. There are not many restaurants in this area where we were staying for a girls getaway. This is your typical chain restaurant. The peanuts were stale, the food was slow to come out. I subbed a sweet potato on my little ones meal and was charged extra but not told that would happen. The food was fine but nothing extremely special and not as good as I have had at other similar chains. They were open on the Fourth of July and that was helpful during our travel but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat at this location again. read more

For whatever reason this location is always packed!! It takes a little while to get seated which is tough. Sometimes the staff is friendly and sometimes they just don't care. This experience was ok. We called ahead and still had to wait to be seated. Just a tip, calling a head just means they put your name down not a reservation. The food is decent, they are known for their dinner rolls and cinnamon butter. The chicken critters are great! They have peanuts in bins available to snack on while you wait or your free to take them to the table. Another cool thing, they have several cuts of meat in a display case to see in the waiting area (it's attached to the kitchen). Our server, Taylor was amazing. Very patient and very understanding. This was a experience just to get a seat! No call ahead for parties larger than 10! Okay that's odd, don't you think a large party would need a heads up when coming to the restaurant?! Then when we get to the restaurant they inform you that they do not have seating for ten ! So we finally get seated in two different booths, I look over and there are tables of 4 with 2 on each side, now I could be wrong but put together these two tables of 4 and you have a table of 8 plus 1 on each end = 10! I'm not sure why that could not be done instead of making us feel odd about needing seating for ten, they really acted as if they didn't care whether we had dinner there or not.
