Good spot for a casual steak dinner, celebrate a birthday (yes, the staff sings a goofy song while giving the birthday boy/girl a special dessert), or to enjoy a few beers around the bar. I have to say it's a clean place, the food is served quickly and tastes great, and the pricing is very fair for steak dinners. Plenty of choices for eats and drinks. Staff is terrific and helpful. Our waitress was wonderful! She checked on us many times, got the kids to-go cup drinks and was very attentive on a busy Thursday night. I got the bbq pork with sweet potato and man, that was good! We've been here a few times, I think this place is great. I understand it's a chain restaurant and that the food isn't gourmet, but at this price point in this economy, I absolutely love it. Nearly everything that came to the table was either overcooked and burnt or lacked seasoning and flavor. We ate here on the eve of 7/11/25. This place is always packed but the service here is awesome and effective...getting people in and out. Our waitress was awesome. We ordered our food and got out fairly quick, at the same time, we did enjoyed our food. I ordered the fried catfish with seasoned rice and green beans and it was delicious. I would ordered the same thing again the next time. Seasoned rice was delicious and so as the beans. Catfish was delicious....not too oily and not too much batter. We love this chain, and always enjoy the food -- especially the hot rolls and their steak! We are in town for our anniversary and decided to eat here for our first dinner. We did the "call ahead seating" through the app, so while there was a long line out front, we only waited about ten minutes after arriving. I'm a big guy and they put us at one of the smaller two-tops in the bar area. I asked to switch to a booth, but the two open ones apparently didn't have wait staff covering, so we touched it out. We had a card for a free app and ordered the onion blossom, which I love. For our meal we split the bone-in 20 oz ribeye with a side salad and baked potato. The salad came out quick along with the rolls -- but the rolls seemed a bit overdone and not their typical hot temp. The ranch dressing here is delicious, so I enjoyed the salad -- but the appetizer can literally 3 minutes before the steak. We only had a few bites of the app so it came home with us in a box. The steak was seasoned REALLY well, the temp was perfect (medium), but I'd recommend saving the couple dollars and getting the larger boneless ribeye instead, as the meat closer to the bone was harder to cut off. We did feel a bit neglected due to our waitress having a large party that came in right after we did. I went my whole meal without a refill, and she did bring hotter rolls, but that was just so we could bring them home. Service started out well, but quickly turned bad as we had to get one of the men busting the tables to get a manager involved. Having late lunch at the Bar for Food 3pm. The Management on Thursday 3pm May 7 Needs to be Fired! The Bartender spent 20 min stacking plates and glasses from a huge crates atop an industrial flat roller. The crates were as high as the bartender working by herself. She had to roll the crates around the bar to the back kitchen. The 3 customers at bar were not being properly attended. Took about 30 min to get served food with no follow up from the bartender who was busy cleaning and organizing the bar. My Filet Was undercooked I waited over 30 minutes. I never got a follow up from the bartender if I needed anything else. I asked to speak with the manager. Who shows up behind the bar at the register not even approaching me personally for my concerns. I had to reach out to her behind the bar with my complaints. I sent back my plate with the sautéed mushrooms and steak fries. I was told by the manager I would get new steak fries, and new sautéed mushrooms after sitting for 30 min. When I got my steak back cooked, I noticed that the french fries were the same french fries I sent back with the sautéed mushrooms. They were both cold. I was lied to buy the Texas roadhouse that they would replace my french fries and my sautéed mushrooms. All they did was send them back with the fillet properly cooked. My first steak came out MW+ ( after in ordered it Medium). My partner's steak came out without the sides. He ate his steak before he ever got his sides or my steak came out. Tonight a group of 9 visited the Kissimmee location. We had submitted a wait list request in advance and arrived in time to be told we would have to wait about 15 minutes. The table was way too crowded and two of us were hanging off the seat to have room for the 9th person on the end but we did not complain. The server came and one of the group explained that we had the free appetizer offers that were sent to VIP members to celebrate that location's 14th anniversary. We were told only one of us could use our coupon. We asked to see the manager and she came out confirming what we were told. Apparently if we would have sat a separate tables we could have all used our coupons but since we were sitting together we could not. We explained the offer does not say that. She was shown the coupon which it appeared she had never seen and she said she would have to go speak to her manager who was apparently in the office. She came back and said we could use two coupons but would have to be on separate checks which we had said from the beginning would be the case. I did have a third coupon but was not even going to attempt to use it after all that. Our orders were taken and the food came. It was not up to Texas Roadhouse standards for many of us. I know the steamed vegetables are not cooked much but when they are still so hard you can't stab them with a fork, they might as well have been raw. Two steaks were done to order but they were very tough to cut, ribs were extremely over cooked and the catfish was not good. Nobody said a word while we were there because of the way the visit had started. When I got home I looked at the coupon which says come in between April 15 and April 21 for the offer but it also says the coupon expires April 19. I will say our server was great. None of this reflected on her, she was pleasant, attentive and always had a smile. Although this is our closest location, there are others not that far away which we will use in the future. managers and staff should be aware when you are celebrating an anniversary and coupons have been distributed for use in a small window of time. Bustling American chain steakhouse. There are several these days, and this one seems to be among the most popular. Not only that, but this location is very popular, as there are lots of tourists and probably some locals coming here. (Next door is another steakhouse chain, and they're clearly not as busy.) Our servers Mads was the perfect server: fun, knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. Could not ask for better. Plenty of choices on their menu. Hardly any real surprises, but that's not a bad thing. Choosing which steak can be daunting, but of the ones my table ordered, none of us regretted what we ate. Their chili is very good as well. This is a very high volume location. I drove a large group from the Straz in Tampa to Animal Kingdom. After I dropped them, I shopped for a cpl hours then decided Roadhouse grill was my lunch destination and I'm not disappointed.
