I came here on Fathers Day. I liked the fact that I could wait in my car until our table was ready. Our waitress was awesome!! My food was absolutely delicious!! I'm still talking about it lol. On numerous occasions, over the last couple years, my steak has not been cooked right. I usually order well done and it comes out charred- which isn't right. So I started ordering medium well, which they usually cook to well done, which I'm fine with. On Father's Day, I order my new normal: medium well, and it actually came out medium well!!! Not only was it cooked right but it was delicious! I'm not sure who was cooking the steaks that day but they were awesome (and much better than usual)! I was in town on business on a Wednesday evening. I was there early, around 5, and was seated quickly. The staff was friendly and professional. My server was very attentive and friendly. I've been to Texas Roadhouses in several other cities, but I hit it just right this time. My filet was cooked perfectly (med-rare), sides were delicious, and the margarita was on point. That place is hoping on a Saturday night around 5:30 - we were told 30-40 minutes and thought oh crap, as we were already hungry but we drove around for a bit and made a few stops to pass the time. The only gripe I have is their parking lot sucks! It's super tight, dark, and there isn't a few spots reserved for carry out. He thoroughly checked the order and all was rgt so away we went. I had the grilled mushroom, jack cheese sandwich with a side salad and pickle. He had the 1/2 chicken and ribs with fresh veggies and a side salad - all was devoured. First our server Adell she was amazing. She was right on top of everything. My husband got a full slab of ribs for lunch. He got a Ceaser salad for a side. It looked pretty sad. But it was ok in taste. I ordered a bacon cheese burger with fries. Our food comes the burger is huge. I cut it in half. Go to take a bite, I can smell the salt before I taste it. Omg almost inedible. I make my husband taste it, it's a bit salty. I was able to eat half of it before I gave up. He tried the last of my burger and said yup there's the salt too much. The most bland steak I have ever eaten. Also, it had absolutely no juices in it at all and wouldn't you find that strange from a steak ordered and cooked rare? The sweet potato was soaking in sugar and I was not given rolls. I also couldn't believe my ears when I heard what my waitress was offering the other customers. She poured them up a tall, cold glass of "sweet water" which was explained as a mixture of sugar and water. WTF America? I never expect much from chain restaurants, but this place is exceptional. Great wait staff, good drinks, and most importantly, great food. To start off, the free bread and butter is probably some of the best I've ever had. The bread is very soft and buttery, and the cinnamon butter is something I've never even thought or heard of, and it compliments the bread amazingly. The house salad was great, and the ranch is SO creamy! I've never had such a delicious, thick ranch. And the baked sweet potato was incredible, topped with mini marshmellows and the same cinnamon butter as the bread (in my opinion, this would make a better dessert than a side). Both times I've been here, I've gotten the bone-in ribeye, and both times they were extremely tender, perfectly seasoned, and overall delicious. I think they might undercook slightly, though. I like medium-rare and when I ordered it medium rare the first time, it was nearly rare. It was still great, so i didn't feel a need to send it back. I got it medium the next time and it was perfect. Tuesdays and Thursdays they have $4 house margaritas, and you really can't beat that. Huge margaritas for a small price! And they were good, to boot. I think the one qualm I have about this place is they only play country music, which I hate, but it's understandable given that it's a Texas restaurant. Big portions of good food at reasonable prices. When you're on the road, sometimes it's hit or miss when you get off on an exit to fuel up and eat; but this place was a hit in my book. They even opened for lunch a bit early since I was cruising their parking lot. Had the catfish dinner, which was great, and house salad. Portions so big I couldn't eat all of it at one sitting. Been here two times. There is a wait most of the time of around 15-20 minutes. The service/staff was very attentitive and friendly...my drink never goes dry. Food is explained in great detail. I got the house salad, the double pork chop, baked potato...and some fried pickles. All food arrived timely and hot. The first time I had the pork chops they were fire! The second time they were good, but a little dry. This is a great place to eat! Possibly. The best staff ever of anyplace I have eaten. read more

Had dinner on a Monday night. Restaurant was very busy but we were seated quickly. Husband ordered steak and I ordered salad and baked potato and it was downhill after ordering. I asked for additional butter twice and it didn't arrive until I had finished my entire dinner. I ordered unsweetened tea and received sweet tea. Stopped by for dinner tonight and the experience waiting in line was awful. To start with the signin hostess was under a "GoArmy.com" umbrella. Everyone kept just walking into the front door instead of checking in with her. Also she was giving bags of peanuts out while you waited and told us not to throw shells on ground. There was no garbage cans to put the shells in. We were ask if we wanted outdoor seating WITH umbrella, we said yes, but the UMBRELLA did not shade you from any sun. We had to go back to the front of the restaurant which put us back in line. I wanted to leave but my husband convinced me to stay. Our waitress, Valencia, took our appetizer order, now this was my husbands fault, he ordered the blooming onion and did not ask me if I wanted something. We had to call Valencia back to our table to get my salad order (for my appetizer). Valencia was a very good waitress , patient with us and made sure we had extra glasses of water! Even as grumpy as we where from the day and the hosting experience she just seem so sweet which changed our mood. You definitely need to work on the hostess area, but waitress wise we loved our experience. It took quite a long time to get our meal but Valencia kept us informed. Basically to start out the music in the restaurant was just way too loud. My father who was sitting right across from me couldn't hear a word I was saying. And just to clarify he doesn't have a hearing problem. The server who waited on my table had a bit of a smart mouth on him. He got smart with both me and my father. He also proceeded to argue with me about something that he said they had available but wasn't on the menu. It turned out that they didn't have it. So he was apparently incorrect in that area. He offered me two didn't substitutes for what I ordered because they had run out of what I wanted. Which was on their menu. I did finally order something else but when I received it it was way too hot to eat. I left Texas Roadhouse that night annoyed and with no intention of returning any time soon. read more

I called and placed a to go order bc the online wasn't taking my order. The server on the phone was smart the entire time and questioned about me ordering a Ft. Worth Steak. When I arrived my food was brought to me by a very smart mouth waitress. I checked my food when she took my card and noticed I didn't get my salad. It was on my ticket. She said she would go check on it. She came back and said the salad line was behind. She would bring it to me shortly. She was smart the entire time like I owed her something. I'm now have been waiting over 15 minutes for a salad while my steak is getting cold. Feb. 14, 2019 Valentines Day Supper was excellent! We have been here several times before, and have tried most of the entrees and sides. Love the food and the wait servers. This time we had ribs and steak fries with house salad, hubby; and 8oz sirloin (well done perfectly as requested) with grilled garlic shrimp and baked potatoe & house salad for me. Margaritas for each - excellent. Rolls and butter as usual were wonderful. Cherry cheesecake taken home for a late nite snack was also excellent. Only downsides are loudness if it bothers you, and rustic country atmosphere if not your thing. We like it. And you usually will wait to be seated for 15-30 minutes in a crowded vestibule area. Valentines Day was very crowded - we waited 25 minutes, and we got there early. It got way more crowded later on. But once seated, service is usually excellent. I recommend it. read more

We stopped in on our way home to Utah. It was a Wednesday night and after the regular dinner time. I was hoping for a bowl of soup and small salad. When we stepped up to the hostess booth there were 2 workers standing there. They did not greet us or acknowledge us in any way. Finally I heard the one named Dominick mutter "two?". I said yes and then we stood there another 15 seconds with no response. I turned to my husband and asked him if he thought they knew we were there. He didn't know either. Then Dominick grabbed the rolls and said to follow him. I always think your first impression of a place should be a bit more welcoming. After we sat down, our server, Colton informed us they had no soup and they were also out of chilli. Because it was late we decided not to leave. Luckily Colton made up for our poor first impression. He was very attentive and checked on us often. I ordered chicken fried chicken and my husband had the catfish. Both were the standard Texas Road House quality. Not the best thing you will ever eat but pretty good. We sat not far from the hostess booth and watched the same 2 "workers" do the same crappy job the rest of the night.
