Where do I start!!!?? Not our first time here. Won't be our last, but this has sure been the worst service we have experienced here. I drank my first beer, set it out for the bartender to see. after bout 5 minutes he grabbed it, but didn't ask if I wanted another. It's been another 15 minutes almost, there are 2 people behind the bar, and not one has asked me if I wanted another drink. This is insane!!!!! They are not busy, not a lot of service tickets coming in. So. It sure why we both are now sitting here empty!! Not once has either bartender looked our way. We were both looking forward to eating here tonight. But just going pay and get out of here. Don't even want to stay any longer. Very piss poor service tonight. Please, the next time, if we see Gabe and Abbie behind the bar. Please step up your game and do better. We are regulars here. But this was unacceptable. Just now Gabe asked if we were good. Too late. To honor the Veterans on this Veterans Day. The restaurant decided to give out Mel vouchers as they did last year. Only this time there was also a time limit on being able to get them. 11-2pm was the deadline. Some Veterans do have to work and are unable to get their vouchers. Steaks usually good to excellent with excellent grilled flavor. Mushroom side was overwhelming and slightly bitter. Fried fish was undercooked and sent back twice. Fish is frozen and apparently, per server, not completely defrosted before it was fried. We won't order fish again. Sides are well prepared and baked sweet potatoes excellently prepared. Rolls are famous and, with the honey butter, can be a meal! Noisy to be expected and servers are excellent with attitude and friendliness. Stick with the steaks, chicken and pork chops and you will enjoy an exceptional and reasonably priced meal! read more

The Texas Roadhouse on 301 is your typical big-box chain. With Budweiser and Texas competing for dominance in the restaurant, the few nods to the Florida locale add a welcome respite. The service is decent, though the "We love our jobs" T-shirts are belied by the lackluster mandatory line dancing. They offer a fine selection of steaks with chicken and a decent bar, but the free dinner rolls are one of the largest draws. With a full bar and moderate prices, Texas Roadhouse offers a decent lunch venue with competent service. It can can get through the traffic in the Big Bend intersection, you can get in a grab a decent lunch quickly. Worth a stop if you need a quick refill. read more

Every time we come to this location, it's always a good time and fresh, delicious food! We had Mike as our server and he did a great job of making sure we were taken care of and anticipated our needs. Before you go, sign up for their Rewards Program so you're able to receive a complimentary appetizer! For me, the salmon was the star of the show! Probably the best I've had at any other restaurant! Flaky, seasoned well and drizzled with tons of butter and lemon pepper? I couldn't tell all of the seasonings on top but I loved it!!!! My wife got the fall off the bone ribs and my brother got a beautifully cooked ribeye! I tasted a piece and it was juicy and well seasoned! Their sides never miss! Been here several times and it's very consistent - usually crowded (that's good in my opinion), normally some seats open on weekdays for walking in, nice portion sizes and kind staff. TVs don't always have popular sports games on and the sound is not on so be mindful if you're going here to watch. Otherwise a great spot to grab a solid bite to eat with your family. My family wanted some "comfort" food after a long day. Nice, lively environment; excellent customer service. My son and husband ordered burgers, my daughter ordered tips, and I was quite satisfied with my Ceasar salad, in addition to a few items from the combo platter - boneless wings, fried pickles, potatoes skins (without bacon) - we ordered as the appetizer. Everyone enjoyed their food, though I had a bit of an issue with the dressing on my salad; was a bit more dressing than I would have wanted, but it wasn't a big deal, so I ate it as it was. Absolutely loved the potato skins from the platter. Texas Roadhouse brought back fond memories for me. My fiance said we were going to meet a friend of hers for dinner here. Days ahead, I was scoping out the menu to see what I would be ordering. When I was a kid, my parents used to take us to Texas Roadhouse on Federal Highway in Boca Raton. That place closed many years ago but the crunch of peanut shells under your shoes and the excitement as a kid to be able to just throw those shells on the floor rushed back into my head. This being the time of covid-19, we placed our name on the wait list approximately 30 minutes before the time we wanted to have dinner, 7pm. The wait time was listed as 20-30 minutes and we did wait until about 7:10pm for our table. Not too bad. One thing that shocked us was that this place was FULLY packed. We thought restaurants were only at 50% capacity but every single table was being seated in here. Not only that, but it seemed that every party, at every table, was 6 people or more. There were multiple birthdays going on and staff were even adding end tables to the large booths to accommodate parties of 8 or more. The staff were all wearing masks. We know the risks with going out in public, not complaining here, just adding these details for others who may venture here for dinner. Our server was great, she obviously had a LOT going on with multiple booths with large groups in her section. She apologized a couple times for being so busy but we understood. We ordered some alcoholic drinks. I ordered the $5 Long Island Iced Tea and my fiance ordered the Sangria Margarita. The LIT was excellent, didn't taste the alcohol but I could feel it. My fiance said the sangria margarita was strong. If you're looking for something fruity and tasty that doesn't taste like alcohol, choose the LIT instead. My fiance switched to the LIT on her 2nd drink. I also noticed that there were no peanut shells on the floor and no buckets of peanuts on the tables. Due to covid-19, peanuts were available upon request. I got a bag and ate those as a little snack. I didn't throw my shells on the floor because I didn't want to be the only one. The floor was pretty clean. We also ordered a fried onion with a horseradish dipping sauce. It was similar to something you'd see in the Australian Outback. Warm dinner rolls with a creamy, sweet butter was also placed on the table a couple times. For dinner, my fiance ordered a steak with fries and I ordered a burger. Her steak was seasoned very well and cooked perfectly. She ordered it well-done and there was not one bit of pink in it. The steak fries were warm, not too crispy and seasoned well too. My burger was pretty good. It ranks high on my burger list. It came with lettuce, tomato and cheese. Between the fried onion, the peanuts and the warm rolls that kept on showing up and then our dinner, we were stuffed. The bill, after tip was over $100 for three people which seemed like a lot but maybe not for signature drinks, and appetizer and food. We left satisfied and full for sure. I would definitely like to come back to this location and try other things on their menu. read more

I received an email special for steak packs. I called and easily ordered for morning pick up today only. 8 steaks and a pound of beef tips for $80.00. They butcher their own meat so it has to be cooked or frozen in 2 days. Now I am an omnivore, however it's a bit much meat for me. I kept out the 2 Filets and the Cowboy Ribeyes and I packaged up the rest for the freezer. In the butcher paper, in a freezer bag, the wrapped tightly in foil. I cooked the Filets tonight and the meat was amazing. Seared them in a cast iron and finished in the oven. I was a little disappointed that one of them was cut in half, but I which I didn't notice until it fell7 apart in the pan. This should have been cut up for tips or stew meat. All in all I am happy with the value and the quality. read more

Came in on a Saturday night before the virus shut down dining in. Big mistake. Too busy to get steaks cooked right. Kids playing music with utensils. Large families with lots of kids. Very noisy. Free peanuts. Salads good. Rolls delicious. Beer cold. Fries, mash potatoes, and baked sweet potatoes good. Two out of three steaks were not cooked to order. Manager took one off the bill. Had new steak served. New steak still not cooked to order. Servers worked hard providing good service. Plenty of parking, but lot fills up on the weekend. Better to come during the week. Definitely stay away on Fri and Sat nights. This place has been opened long enough to get the steaks right. read more

Having lived in the area a long time, we all were begging for a steakhouse. We now have a couple options between Roadhouse and the recently opened Longhorns next door. I find that the service at Roadhouse is exceptional, but the food is just so so. I've had apps, steaks, salmon, and sides and have never had a bad experience, but haven't ever been blown away either. The rolls with cinnamon butter is great. And there are several drink options to choose from. If you sit at the bar, you always have great service. Management is always walking around and checking on you as well, so if there is an issue, they will rectify it. As a local joint I'll be back, but will probably stick to the sides, apps, and drinks. read more

Wonderful customer service from all staff each time my family has eaten here. Our favorite thing to order is the 16 oz Ribeye with loaded mash and broccoli. The Mac and cheese as a side is delicious but the kids Mac and cheese option isn't. The kids option is boxed Kraft. Our steaks are not always cooked to perfection. Half of it might be medium and the other half medium well to well done. Not a huge deal for me but we have brought family friends and it was an issue for them. I'd say skip the fried pickles. They are extremely salty and overly breaded. We will continue to return. We enjoy the friendly and speedy service especially when dining with a toddler read more

Wow. After vowing never to return (for a few reasons), I was convinced to go out to dinner, and we ended up here last night. As is typical, the place is very cold inside (okay, that's a subjective thing), but it is also one of the loudest restaurants that I have ever been in, which puts me on edge, and not able to enjoy my time there on that basis alone. Anyway, after waiting far too long for the server, and waiting at least 10 minutes for the rolls (which are great, BTW, and one of the bright spots here), we ordered. After about 15 minutes or so, the meal finally came out, and one of the entrées was incorrect (steak was served instead of chicken). Okay, that reorder took at least another 15 minutes (while the sides sat on the table getting cold, of course), and all the while, my dinner mate ate their own entree. Well after my dinner mate was completely done eating, my reorder was 'on it's way'. At that point, I was no longer interested in having it because I was not looking to eat alone, so I flagged down the server and cancelled it, to which she said it would be here in 60 seconds, and I once again cancelled it. The server rushed away and talked someone (assumedly) about it, and after a few more minutes, someone else appeared with the replacement entree (but not any replacement sides), and with a few back and forth 'negotiations', table side, they nearly insisted that I take it. They repeatedly assured me that it was 'on the house' and the server stood by with a to-go box in hand. At this point, I was beyond pissed off about the whole dinner being ruined that I very firmly told them no, and they both left the table. The server then came back minutes later with a very different attitude and rudely said "give me the electronic tablet" (or whatever she called it) and proceeded to show me that the she took the entree off the bill. I was floored by her attitude and that the entire meal was not comped, considering what just went down. In the end, I paid the 29.40 for the other entree, the two drinks and the tax. I added a 5.00 tip because that's the right thing to do, because some of this was outside of her control. I get it, serving people in a restaurant can be challenging, and I am not some self-important person who needs to be 'pleased' by others, but this was sub par service and I will never return. And yes, I know, Texas Roadhouse has millions of customers and will not miss my patronage, but I felt the need to share this experience with others. read more

This is our regular steak place. Steaks are really good and hand cut and they'll custom cut you any size you want rather than the same cookie cutter pre-cut steaks you get at some chains. Service is usually really good, they are very attentive to customer service in our experience. Prices very reasonable. They can get really busy during peak hours. read more

Only giving this 3 stars, because I have had great experiences at other Texas Roadhouse, and our waiter was super sweet! Me and my friend had an issue in the past with this same location, and the manager graciously gave us a $30 gift card. So we went for dinner at another Texas Roadhouse to use our gift card. Come to find out- the gift card wasn't ever activated. The manager was nice about it though, and gave us another one to use on this visit. I love Texas Roadhouse usually- the environment, the friendliness, and the food is always amazing! However this time, we walked into the restaurant, and stood there for a few minutes. No one even acknowledged us. Even one of the managers was standing next to us, and did not say hello, or even nod our way. Now, this is definitely not how my experience usually goes, so I shrugged it off, and hoped the meal would overpower the unfriendliness of the hosts. I got a strawberry margarita, which was sweet- but really good! You can upgrade it with an extra shot too for an additional fee. The drink was a bit overpriced, but they have a lot more affordable drink options to choose from. The Long Island iced tea is always $5! My friend and I sat down, and the bread was amazinggg! The cinnamon butter never disappoints. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive, so he definitely brightened our experience. I ordered the herb crusted chicken with mashed potatoes and a caesar salad. And I'll admit, I ALWAYS get this when I come here without fail- so I know how it's supposed to taste. I was looking forward to it. The mashed potatoes and the salad were great, but the herb crusted chicken was extremely too salty. To the point where I had to scrape off most of the seasoning to eat it. I was honestly too hungry to send it back though. My friend ordered a sirloin steak- and he is a regular at Texas Roadhouse too. He ordered it medium well, but the steak came out extremely dry and VERY over cooked. The manager came over right away, which was great, and said he would get him a new steak. Our waiter then came over, and said "Sorry about that! My manager is in the back making the steak for you himself!" 20 minutes pass by, and I've already finished my food, while my friend has only fries to pick at. We didn't see either our waiter, or a manager for that time. Then, we see the manager out near the bar, speaking to another customer. My friend and I were confused. How was the manager making our steak, if he's up here speaking with another customer? Finally, we wave our server down, and let him know we never got the steak. He shot up immediately to tell the kitchen. So, they basically forgot to make our food. They brought out the new steak finally, and it was cooked perfectly. The entire experience was just stressful and not very good- which we are not very used to going to other locations. It just seemed like they weren't prioritizing customers, and I was really missing the friendliness I usually receiving from the hosts at other Texas Roadhouse. Had a great time at Texas Roadhouse. They offer all the warm bread and butter you want, and the same with the peanuts. I went for drinks and apps. They have fish bowl drinks for about 9$ and you have the option to add a "kicker" for 1.99-3.99$. The Peach Margarita on the rocks with a sugar rim is my favorite with an 1800 "kicker". The kicker options are between Patron, 1800, and Gold. One kicker per drink, sometimes I mix it in after a while or I'll just take it as a shot. Alyssa, our waiter, was super pleasant. She made sure we always had a drink or offered a drink when she noticed they were getting low. While taking our order, she ensured to take down all the sauces we wanted beforehand instead of receiving our food and waiting for her to make another round to ask for condiments. She notified us of different sizes drinks and prices of beer (Amber Bochs are 2.99, always FYI) We shared the app combo: Fried pickles(as a no charge sub for tater skins), Hot or Mild boneless wings, and rattle snake bites(spicy fried cheese). This serves 1-3 people. I like Texas Roadhouse a little better now because of the service my family received Saturday 9/28. I will say this is a better experience than usual, maybe because it was around noon to 1pm and not in the afternoon, which is usually hectic with parking, wait time, and service. read more

We were seated within a few minutes of checking in with the host. It was our first time trying Texas Roadhouse and I was very excited to try the infamous rolls. As soon as you are seated, the waitress grabbed some fresh rolls and sat us down. They were so good I forgot to take a picture ! For appetizer, we had the snakebites, cheesey fried balls and main course some burgers. It did get a little loud suddenly, I believe its their birthday thing but the music was lowered after. First time at the establishment. I grew up dining at Longhorn Steakhouse so never got to try it.. I was game to try. Inside looked decent and clean. Steaks in display case looked good. I was not in the mood for meat and didn't really expect it to be worth it so I ordered a Veg plate which was your choice of 4 sides. I ordered Caesar salad sans croutons, green beans, apple sauce & steak fries. We also started with an onion blossom which was pretty good and not at all greasy like other places. They served dinner rolls with cinnamon butter. I did not try but they looked good. Our server, Eathan was nice and attentive. But was not v into clearing away plates so table got cluttered and c we had to start handing him plates. My Caesar salads was fresh and crunchy but too much dressing which was a bit bland. It needed some shaved parm. Dinner arrived and the steak fries were decent, I asked for bleu cheese dressing bc not a fan of restaurant ketchup. The green beans had pork or bacon or something and were overcooked so no bueno. I think they should notify guests that there is pork in the green beans because it was called a "Veg Plate," and that denotes vegetarian in my book. The applesauce was literally cold from a can, I was sadly expecting something more southern like chunky apples in a sugary glaze stuff. Oh well. I have to say not really a fan of this place. It's just ok. All the servers and staff, and there were a lot considering how quiet it was, were very friendly and almost every one had a friendly greeting. 2 Words - Raging Diarrhea. For both I and the person I went with. Decided to give Texas Roadhouse another try after a disappointing showing with their T-Bone a few weeks ago. This trip, Fried onion appetizer was gross, poorly cut, and the most likely culprit of our digestive issues. Fries were dusted in salt and pepper (why ruin perfectly good steak Fries with tons of salt & pepper???). Staff was stingy with the butter for the bread for the initial and the follow up (bread & butter always good). Bartender was nice and courteous. Service good. NY Strip and Filet were pretty on point although the last few trips has had me doubting the quality of the meat (maybe I'm spoiled after having been to Capital Grille & Fresh Market). We wanted to catch a little of the Sunday football action while grabbing a late lunch. TR once again delivers a solid performance. Great rolls with cinnamon butter. Yum. Our server / bartender did a nice job. She checked on us often and made sure that we had what we needed. Overall, the food is good and correct. Cooked to the right temperature and seasoned properly.
