This was the first time I have been to Texas Roadhouse. We came in a Thursday at 2:00pm for a late lunch and it was fairly busy. When we arrived, a very nice greeter picked up a basket of bread from the meat display counter and guided us to a nearby table. I thought that as an interesting concept I hadn't seen before. A server quickly arrived and dropped off menus and brought waters. I didn't catch our sever's name but she was very nice and attentive. One thing we both noticed right away and both commented on was the amount of advertising in the restaurant. Every table, booth, light fixture, wall, everywhere was covered with some type of marketing piece. It was actually visually distracting. Way too much! The restaurant is decorated in warm wood, taxidermy on every wall, and neon liqueur signs. The bar has a couple of TV's for people who are interested in watching sports. Our waitress recommended signing up on their website for perks and free apps, etc. it was a bit overwhelming with all the marketing within the restaurant. One of the cool things the restaurant did do was offer a free sample of three dudes before you order an entree. We declined as we planned to ordered salads only. I ordered the steak salad with the steak cooked medium. The steak was cooked perfectly medium and the salad tasted good. I didn't care for the tomatoes thrown on the plate whole. I found that to be lazy on behalf of the chefs. There were way too many croutons. The blue cheese dressing is made in house and was quite good. My husband ordered the chicken salad and he said it was quite good as well. I thought the service and food were good. I probably won't go back as after being there it's not my kind of restaurant, however, I think it would be a good family style restaurant. read more

This location is so disappointing. I've been to other locations and with no complaints. Everytime I've given this one another chance to do better, it's the same story. I order my steak medium rare with sautéed mushrooms. It always comes done. To add insult to injury, this time, my mushrooms were burnt. I for sure got what I paid for. Garbage steak every single time at this location. The stars I gave is only because the servers are amazing, the bread and butter are to die for and so are the drinks. read more

Place was packed to the hilt, 40 minutes wait, no reservations. Noisy as all get out. Cudues to Ashley. After a rocky start, no Korbel brandy, no Guinnes Beer, poor food at restaurant in Wausau WI. ASHLEY assured me she would make sure I was happy. I ordered a sirloin steak, chared rare. No hockey puck. My guests ordered, ribs, shrimp, steak. Without a doubt, I got THE BEST CHARED RARE SIRLOIN I EVER HAD. My guests all raved too. I gave Ashley a 30% tip, and felt cheap. read more

Wow, tonight they had a perfect crew. our waiter (Mathew) was so very personable and adept at his service! We had a great meal; the broccoli was perfectly steamed with a little bit of crunch, our steaks were excellent, and the salad was wonderful. But, if I knew that broccoli was going to be so good, I would have ordered two sides of broccoli for my side choices! This experience was excellent. Kudos to your entire staff!! read more

We arrived at 4:15pm on a Sunday - there were lots of empty tables/booths. We were seated immediately at a tiny table for 2 - there wasn't enough room on the table for the drinks and rolls, let alone our meals. After we ordered we heard a waitress tell all of her customers about a dinner special they were having. Our waitress never mentioned it. When our meal was delivered, he handed me the plate instead of setting it down and didn't offer to take my empty salad plate away. Now we had empty plates, a basket of rolls, two empty drink glasses and our meals on the tiny table. Shortly after that, 2 women were seated at a booth nearby. Then an employee sat at a booth in our area and proceeded to eat his meal and have a loud video conversation with someone on his phone. I agree with Kim B. I love the chilly, everyone loves the cinnamon butter bread. My kid gets so full off of an appetizer and bread that he never gets to eat his kids burgers. My bone in ribeye is always so perfect it's unreal!! Service is always good there. I like the people. I love it when they do line dancing drone time to time. The restaurant itself is not too special. It gets the job done, and it's just what we need. I wouldn't go there if I was expecting fine dining, or expecting to be classy. read more

I always order off the kids menu because the portions are huge. I usually get ribs and fries, but this time the ribs just tasted very greasy like there wasn't any effort made to make the taste good. Every time my fiancé orders the t bone steak well done, it does not come out well done. Sometimes we have to take it back or cook it more at home. We always order take out and it's always fast and the employees are always nice at the window. The best thing about this place is the bread, obviously. read more

My wife and I, along with my stepson, his daughter and her friend, had a meal at Texas Roadhouse last night (8/3/25). We had excellent service and great meals. All of our steaks were made to perfection, and all the sides were fantastic. My only wish for improvement would be that it wasn't quite so loud inside (after the meal I was happy to be outside where it was quieter). Price was ok I guess (but everything these days, especially beef, is expensive). Even with the deafening noise, I'll give this restaurant 5 stars. read more

Our very first visit to a Texas Roadhouse and I don't think we could have picked a better one. We had a smaller party of 5 and were unaware of just how BUSY this restaurant would be. We come from a smaller town, but this place was completely full the whole time we dined. Our waitress asked if it was our first time there and then we got to try 3 complementary sides that were brought over by the manager with some info about the ingredients, how things were made, freshness, etc. We got the onions, corn and mashed potatoes. Every one of them were absolutely delicious! We got 2 appitizers of twisted mozzerella sticks and fried pickles. The mozzerelal sticks were very good and we loved the shape. The pickles were a tad on the very thin side but still loved the breading. We were a little unprepared for the amount of NOISE level for the whole dining experience. It was a lot louder than any other place I've dined. One of our kids ordered the chicken tenders and they were breaded perfectly and the flavor was amazing. 3 of us ordered the ribeyes of varying weight. They were a little on the thin side and mine was cooked a little longer then what I requested when placing my order. Our waiter was great but after asking for items (napkins, A-1, some drink orders) it did take a little longer than we would have liked to get them. The taste of the food will definitely have us back in the franchise again. The mashed potatoes are pretty similar to how my family makes them at home so those were a favorite. read more

Texas Roadhouse is consistently good state to state. Nothing stood out for me. Server was accommodating.

My beautful mom was going to celebrate her birthday at the place and we told the waiter more then two times that it was my moms birthday and right when we where about to leave she gave us a small cake and she didnt even say a happy birthday also not even a song like they always do? the waiter was doing multiple birthday sayings before she had us as a table and the food was good but kinda salty. read more

We had the VIP voucher and showed to waitress. Was still charged for the appetizer. I had a HUGE bug in my Caesar salad and didn't see it till the last few bites. The manager came by and only offered to take off for the cost of the salad which was free since it came with my steak!! $4.99. For a HUGE moth/bug dead in my salad. I couldn't even eat my steak. My mother either. We ended up getting our steaks to go and just couldn't stomach the idea that there wouldn't be bug exposure on these, so we threw them away. We have been to this location and many others so many times. But how the manager handled it. Was just ridiculous. $4.99 off. Seriously. We used our gift card and left. On top of that. I am a cancer patient. And I have to be extremely careful with food cleaned and cooked. Assuming restaurants have guidelines for this type of thing. read more

We were in town for a wedding and decided to bring a couple of friends here since they had never really had the Texas Roadhouse experience. As far as TR's go - this was pretty par for the course. Service was great, food was good, and the entertainment and dancing was fun (except for those who didn't appear to like this part of their job - that took a bit out of it). We loved the nice touch of the manager swinging by and bringing a sampler of the sides so we could get a little taste of each! The menu has enough options that almost everyone can find something that they will enjoy! Try not to fill up on the amazing rolls and cinnamon butter ahead of the meal - it's always so tempting though (just like Oliver Garden with the breadsticks). Overall a good visit at a chain restaurant. We usually have one or two of these visits a year and are sure to continue that trend in the future. read more

My last review at the height of the pandemic, when things were just opening back up was lukewarm... glad we came back. I think at that time they, like many others, were struggling to bring people back to work. 4 months later, it was a totally different (and better) experience. Steaks and loaded baked potato were done to perfection . And can we talk about THOSE ROLLS!!! Friendly and efficient service. Husband loves their chili. Kids like the burgers. There is truly something for everyone on the menu. Call ahead waitlist system works well- highly recommend using that on a busy weekend night to avoid waiting around for a long time. This was my first visit to a Texas Roadhouse and I have been driving passed them for over 10 years! It was my mother's birthday and she loves the place. If she loves the place it must be good. I couldn't tell you how long the wait was as they were already seated and we joined them. The waiter was on the stick and served our drinks right away. His name was Mary. I made an assumption and I was right. Mary was not his real name. My guess is that Evan forgot/lost his nametag and they have a uniform policy so Mary helped out a friend! Service was very good and they kept bringing the bread with cinnamon butter. The bread was very fresh and I certainly ate too much! I had a hard time selecting a menu item because there were many good selections. I decided on the chicken fried steak (CFS) as this can be a hard one for restaurants to master. Meal delivery time was under 15 minutes which is reasonable for a group our size. Everything was served at the same time and all were hot. CFS was served to perfection! Good taste and the gravy was tasty but not plentiful. The server took care of that by bringing out a bowl. Gravy was perfect on the mashed potatoes as well. Corn was ok. Drain it next time. I tasted the new York strip and Ribeye ordered by others in our party. Very good taste and tender. I would certainly go here vs Outback! I did not go away hungry! read more

So... six friends of mine and I went here for a birthday luncheon. We had a really nice server, BUT... The music was SO LOUD that we could not hear each other speak. One of us asked our server if they could turn the music down. He said he would talk to management, but that they probably would not allow it. When asked why, he said that it is most likely a way to keep the customers from "hanging out all day". This way, they can get customers in and out quickly so that they can make more money. This was my second visit to this restaurant. I was not impressed the first time I was there, but someone else chose it for the birthday venue so I didn't have a choice. I give a one star rating because of the nice server, otherwise it would be a zero. The priority with this business is clearly not with the paying customer. Great service and good prices. I appreciate that you can get smaller sized steaks at a lower price. That's because I usually fill up a bit on peanuts and bread. Yes , the peanuts are back! Asked to sit in the bar area where there was several open Both (5) the hostess rolled her relay and to our seater that they went seating in that area. The couple behind us asked the same thing as they were being seated by us and they said no problem and seated them in the bar area. The food tasted good but took a longtime to get 45-50 minutes during this time I ran out of beer and then 10 minutes after the food came they got around to bringing me another beer that I requested before I went dry. Maybe spend more time on customer service with your 20+waters and less on the stupid yelling and gathering for birthdays and crap. $60 bucks dropped for ribs for 2 and 2 beers. The half rack of ribs was very over cooked and extremely dry. One person in our party had the pulled pork dinner that was very salty to the point she could not eat the pork. We love Texas Roadhouse and dine there, often. Yesterday, we ate at the one in Rochester, Minnesota. Something unusual happened to us while we ate. My prime rib disintegrated in my mouth into very small tiny pieces. Of course, the server was very gracious and replaced it with a steak. However the steak did the same thing. I believe that the meat is over tenderized which causes the structure to fall apart. I did Inot want to complain anymore so we left. The service was great. read more

The food is nothing to write home about, today I had the ribs with a side of green beans and a sweet potato. It was all good except the meat was over done and I was not aware that they put bacon on the green beans which I do not like. But like I said the service is really good, so I would probably just get drinks if I were to go back again.
