Came in with a friend who had recently bought a 2019 F-150 platinum series and requested an estimate to have wheel spacers installed. The manager approached us, asked what was needed, looked at the spacers the were bought, and asked what we thought was fair to have the installation done. Use caution if you go to the RR location. I purchased wheels & tires for my car. The manager knowingly sold me tires that were too small for the wheels I purchased & put my safety at risk. I had a blowout almost 2 months after purchasing. This could have been avoided had he sold me the correct size tires. Apparently, customer safety is not their first concern. read more

Do not trust them. Not sure where to start with this but I'd I could give it a negative 3 stars , I would I did my research and decided that I could trust Texas Tires with my vehicle. I was wrong. My exact words were " I want a 3.5" lift and the largest tires that will fit this vehicle with this size of lift". I was told that there may be some minor trimming. I had no idea that they were going to have to cut my truck up. They did a horrible job at it. When I drove off their lot I had vibrations in the rear at 60 MPH. I took it back for a second balancing and still had vibration at 70 MPH. The left rear was off 3.5 oz and the right was off 4.25. There were no hub rings installed and retaining clips were still left on that were not compatible with the wheel. Also, they left out and lost one of the hubcap screws. Not a safety thing but i did not pay for some of the screws, i paid for all the screws. The bigger issue is that these tired are grinding the frame of my truck and also the body. After speaking with the manager of the north Lamar location in Austin Texas he told me that I authorized this. No, I did not. I authorized for work to be done in a professional and safe manner and to be fitted with the right parts and wheels for the size of lift i was buying and the wheels to fit my truck. This did not happen. He offered to sell me the right size of tires for a thousand dollars and that is laughable. When do you start taking the safety and well being of your customers in to account. I trusted Texas Tires to take care of me and my truck and I feel that they did neither. There is no way that I can work out of this truck much less take it off road which is the reason I put this lift on. I trusted Texas Tires to fit my truck with the correct parts and wheels and they did not, in my opinion. Unfortunately, I can Not add pictures of my vehicle on google reviews. They are truly shocking. I'm supposed to get everything re torqued to meet the requirements of the warranty but I do not , at this point , trust anyone at this location. I can Not and will not ever recommend anyone to trust Texas Tires to take care of you or your vehicle. This is a $5,000 mistake and it truly makes me sick to my stomach. I've always wanted a four wheel drive vehicle to take my family camping in and to work out of. I can do neither in this vehicle in the shape that it is in. Honestly I've never had better customer service in my entire life. I was so worried as a single mother I don't have a lot of money and I worry about where I go. The manager there heard my problems and waved $100 installment of my tire. He also waived the initial $45 that I would have to put down. I was at the point where I was feeling like there was nowhere to turn and I know this sounds cheesy but seriously these guys gave me Faith back in humanity. They didn't put any pressure on me. I was in and out so fast that I still can't believe it. They give you an abundant amount of time Payback the loan on whatever you get. I walked into their shop in tears and walked out with a smile and comfadance that my son and I were safe. I WILL NEVER SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE FOR TIRES! All tires come with a one-year warranty or at least mine did I'm sure if you got bigger more custom tires they probably would give you and even longer warranty. I have never been to Texas Tire. I was having trouble with keeping air in my front right tire so I stopped in. These gentlemen looked for the leak couldn't find it. they took the tire off the rim still couldn't find it. I feel a little dumb, but the issue wasI was not keeping enough air in the tires. For all this effort and activity they didn't charge me anything. I feel they really went above and beyond what they needed to do to please this customer. I recently purchased a used truck with Steel Off-Road wheels but it was missing a center cap. I found out that Texas Tires could get me one so I stopped by and Michael walked out to my truck to make sure he was looking for the right cap. He didn't have one on hand but was able to order it and had it in just a few days. Again, Michael walked out to my truck with me and installed the cap himself to make sure it worked before I took off with the wrong cap. Communication was easy both calling and texting and service was excellent. Thinking about getting new rims on this truck in the future and Texas Tires will be my first stop. read more

Would definitely not recommend this place to no one took my truck in to get the lugs swapped out and wheels balanced ended up getting my Specialty forged rims scratched up by there installer I had proven pics and videos of the night before with time and date of the rims as they were flawless now I go back and tell them what happened prior to texting them 1 hr right after I got the work done and found out. They try and give me the run around saying that would not happen. Then they said they will check the cameras within an hr and get back to me I did not hear back till the next day saying that he dose not Recall damages being made to it when I asked for the video they send me a cut footage of it Like I said I would not recommend them definitely some bad business being made in this location Also this would be the last place to shop for leveling kit or lift kit definitely over priced. read more

So I never leave reviews but The Customer service at this place just gave me no choice! Oh my gosh! So we went in for a lift and a new set of tires even though we didn't need the tires since we just bought our set but because of the lift we upped with bigger tires too. After a couple postponed appointments and getting everything done we had asked for our tires back since they were like new and they gave my husband some busted up tires and after my husband said thode were NOT his tires and some back and forth he gets cussed out by the manager named Adam and then after all that the manager Adam says "Yes mother fucker I took your tires what are you gonna do about it I'll kick your fkn ass"His words!! I special ordered some tires and told them specifically what I wanted. They ordered them and went to pick them up a week later. They put them on the back of my truck, and I went to go check if they got the order right and they had it very wrong. I tried to get the order fixed and they said that the tire I wanted could not be made (why did they not tell me this in the beginning?). I was not going to buy something I did not order, so I was trying to get my $1,300 refunded. They did not want to give me my money back. They even threatened me with lawyers. I grew up to be honorable, but this is some shady business. Please do not pay for the tires until you see them and know that they are the correct ones that you want to buy.
