15 pieces of crispy Fried chicken leg and thighs
    Shayer S.

Tried the new zabihah halal fried chicken under the new management and it's incredible. At the time of this review, the fried chicken isn't listed on Uber Eats or their in store menu but it's available and absolutely worth the 20 to 30 minute wait. The chicken is crispy, juicy, and spicy but not too spicy. Hands down the best halal fried chicken in Austin. My kiddo doesn't like spicy food but he will eat this chicken, taking huge sips of water in between bites. That is a testament to how good the chicken is! As far as I know, this is the only spot in Austin serving Middle Eastern broasted fried chicken. Halal Wings is probably the next closest option but this is better in every measurable way. I think there are just a few standout items here. Besides the fried chicken, I have also heard good things about the Zinger and the chicken tenders. The fries are average but get the job done. That said, the overall dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired. As we were walking in, a guy walking out warned us they are very rude here. Inside the place was empty and remained so, except one other family came in to eat. Most of the tables were dirty. There was only one person working and doing everything so I'm giving her some grace on both the mess and the unfriendly vibes. With that said, the ambiance, cleanliness, and the service do not match the menu prices. We will keep coming back for the fried chicken but definitely not to dine in. Hopefully this will be added to Uber Eats soon. Ratings: Cleanliness 2/10 Prices 3/10 Ambiance 3/10 Fried Chicken 10/10

    Fried Pickles

I order a 10 piece wings and Fried Pickles. Wings are perfectly cooked, flavor is spot on. Fried pickles, are stale, way overcooked, One man is running this place at night. The neighboring night life is keeping him busy. Which probably why my pickles are overcooked. Good for late night drunken eats.

    Just admire the size

This is my first time trying this place, and let me tell you! It did NOT disappoint. I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, 10 wings with flavors of spicy lemon pepper, and hot garlic with a side of fried okra. Their prices are affordable and the food is magnificent!! It was such a basic meal but was so good! Made my night! The chef knows what he's doing! 10000000 our of 10! Also, they are NOT stingy with the ranch!!

Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwich with Fries

I had the honey mustard chicken sandwich as well as spicy chicken sandwich here with fries and both were pretty good!

    Wings! To go!

Look. This is probably more of a three star place but I'm feeling generous and they definitely get bonus points for being open late and up north. A dark horse challenger to Pluckers, they are not, however someone picking up the phone and making me wings at 11:45 deserves a nod. Honestly the wings were not bad. The sauces are not as good as pluckers -- that's a real thing but I was happy with my decision. I got the Hot and Mercury Hot. Both sauces were a little lacking in real flavor but had some heat to them. The Mercury Hot isn't crazy hot but does look angry and is more heat forward and less flavorful. Maybe another pro tip would be to ask for your wings naked with sauces on the side. The bleu cheese dressing is a bit funky. I suggest sticking with ranch. After the fact I tried to put my finger on it and I figured it out. It IS FUNKY.. like bleu cheese! I mean a strong funk. Cheese forward. Maybe great on a salad but I think people who are combatting hot sauce are looking for something more akin to "Marie's" rather than something more flavor forward. I can't say that I'll be running back but in a pinch, I'm in.

Not a fan, the Cajun cheese fries were cold, the Cajun ranch made the whole order cold. The Philly cheese steak is made with ground beef.

I really appreciated that they double checked everything in our to-go bags against what we ordered just to make sure we had everything. Everything was bagged, and the orders had the individual order and special order requests written on top Everything tasted great. The burgers were classic burgers, slightly messy, but very flavorful. The fries weren't quite as crisp as I like, but they were seasoned well and tasty Some tips: Consider ordering online so you can have your meal ready when you arrive The burgers/entrees don't come with fries, so, consider ordering a couple fries to share. One order of fries is more than enough for 2 people to share. To do this just make your meal a combo on the ones you want to have fries. The meat had incredible flavor, juicy and well-seasoned, and the divine (I'm assuming that's the special sauce or topping?) absolutely blew me away--it took the whole thing to another level. The fries were exactly how I like them: thick-cut, tender, not overly crunchy or crispy, and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was spot-on. The chips were evenly covered with toppings, and it was just enough to get us through until our meals. My friend and I split their special burger that day, which was a green goddess burger and swapped the regular patty for a veggie patty. It was great!
