I visited in a sultry afternoon, excited for my first American-style burger. I've had had enough of the small hamburguesas served in tapas restaurants. I needed a face-sized burger dripping from the overflowing toppings. The restaurant was very bright, clean, and cute with noveau-hip décor. Traffic was light. Only two other tables were occupied on a weekday lunch. The waiter was a fantastic guy, very friendly and helpful. He could tell I was learning Spanish, and playfully explained terms when I didn't understand what he was saying. After some thought, I ordered the chili burger. The burger came after a few minutes. Chili Burger (€8.65): The burger was smaller than I had expected for the price. The spicy chorizo and the spicy sauce added a junior league kick to it: cognizable but inconsequential. The meat was fresh, but overcooked (I ordered medium rare and it came medium well). The buns were extremely ordinary. While I was happy to be eating a burger at all, it was not a wow experience.
