We ordered: Mussels Chicken salad Grilled Octopus with purée Boneless beef flank Wild mushroom ravioli Vegan burger Jamón iberico Pan con tomate Artisan cheese plate However, For a fine dining location the service was Mediocre. Our waitress took her time to take our order and the food was very slow to come out. I ordered the vegan burger for my friend (she is actually a VEGAN) and asked that she bring it out with the appetizer plates since that was all my friend would be eating. Well, the burger didn't come out with our food and we waited and waited and waited. I also asked if the vegan burger came with vegan cheese, our waitress interrupted me before I finished and said "no it doesn't have any cheese". When the burger finally came out, it had regular cheese on it! NOTE: I SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH SO THIS WASN'T A LANGUAGE ISSUE. As our food came out we wanted to add a couple of plates to the selection (simple items: pan con tomate y jamon y queso) but our waitress kept disappearing and was very slow to attend to us. Then Halfway through our meal our waitress disappeared and we had a male waiter we were confused and unsure where our original waitress went. At the end of the night I asked the male waiter for a separate check for food and drinks, he confirmed and told the former waitress also. By the time we're done all the wait staff had left and they had rudely begun moving tables and cleaning the restaurant, yet there were two other tables still dining! No one was to be seen to ask for the check so when I did find someone.... The check hadn't been split as requested. For a €300 total bill, we expected better

This place would compete superbly in SF or NYC any day. Burgers. The best. Period. I don't have burgers this tasty and well-balanced anywhere in California. Knowing the owner here since the opening a few years ago, the meat is double ground daily and cooked to order; I recommend medium-rare or a bit less ("a punto" or "poco menos de punto" in Spanish). For burger connoisseurs, I can attest to the bun's quality and pairing with the burger. The Liberty Burger is classic, with cheese and bacon plus freshies, but any of the rotating inventions (the Frenchie, the Alpine) are perfect for adventurous dining nights. Burgers don't come with fries, but you don't need em. The LK also has one of the best selections of beer, from small brewers of many countries. TIP: make a reservation, you absolutely need it. You can do it through a Facebook message on their FB page. Extra TIP: if you come right after opening, you may be able to get bar seating for 2 or 3. Besides burgers, anything else I've had was either excellent or at least way above average (using American American food standards). Service is fantastic. All the good parts of American attentive service without being overbearing.

The table was not cleaned since the last customer and there was a leaf of lettuce in the seat. Not so good start. Well, the Americana burger looked good, served on a toast, and with some fresh vegetables and potato wedges on the side. OK, nothing more. The burger itself did not taste much at all, but the bacon, cheese and fried egg made it a decent meal after all. Some other customers arrived, with noisy smartphones and absolutely no manners at all. Talking russian language loudly in their phones, playing loud music from another phone, making the whole scene quite absurd. This was very early in the evening, so this kind of behaviour was not expected at all. We paid and left.
