I did a pick up order for dinner yesterday and ordered the Pad Si Ew and their Chef Specialty, the Pad Ka Paow which is chicken with basil with an egg on top. The Pad Si Ew noodles were so mushy and disgusting and covered in a heavy salty dark brown soy sauce. There was hardly and veggies or meat in it. The Pad Ka Paow's fried egg was so over cooked it was rubbery. The chicken was like ground chicken with 2 basil leaves. Where was the basil? There was a large scoop of white rice but the dish was so plain and lacked flavor. The portion size for the Pad Si Ew was so small that it didn't even fit one third of the to-go styrofoam container. I'm not sure what happened to the cook tonight. But I will not be coming back. read more

We drove 25 minutes from Hopkinsville to eat here. First impressions were great. It has a hip interior and the menu had all the favorites we came for. Our server was friendly. The shrimp rolls were good and the peanut sauce was tasty. Here's where it went downhill. The Green Papaya salad we ordered at a heat level of two was so hot for me that it was practically inedible, and the chef needs to work on knife skills. The chunks of cabbage were huge and without a knife on the table, went uneaten. It was so hot that my husband and I quickly drank our water. The glasses sat unfilled until I asked for more from a server rushing past. Three people in the front of the house, and their entire attention was on a woman picking up a takeout order for a good 5+ minutes. For our mains, my husband had Massaman curry, while I had the Basil Shrimp. The Curry was ok, but the sauce was runny with under developed flavor. My shrimp dish was also a disappointment. The egg on top was overcooked, and the lack of knife skills were very evident here again. I mostly ate the shrimp and vegetables. Best Thai chicken coconut soup (Tom Kha Gai ) I've found in the area so far! I've tried several locations, none of which were bad, but didn't have the traditional Thai coconut soup ingredients. Thai bowl however spared no expense and uses all the right ingredients; the kaffir lime leaves, galangal, lemongrass, very impressed, very high-quality, and delicious soup. If I had only one request, it would be that it was also served with a few lime wedges to accompany the soup, which would've made it absolutely perfect. My husband ordered the Pad Ka Pow and really enjoyed it. We also ordered a side of Thai eggrolls, which were OK. They aren't my favorite style. I prefer the thick wonton egg rolls and these were thin, skinny, more delicate and crispy. We ordered pick-up and everything was very fresh and hot and kept well until we got home. We will most definitely be ordering again, and I can't wait to explore more of the Laos themed items on the menu. I've heard great things about the Laos papaya salad so that might be my next exploration. I just have to say, I've given Thai Bowl three (3) separate tries. Admittedly all delivery. Here is the problem, I love how their food tasted, but the portions were the saddest I have EVER had. I spent $8.95 on their Thai Jerky...I got 4 1/2 little pieces. At least I got it this time, the other two times they were "out". And they even jipped me on the Sticky Rice that was supposed to come with it!!!!! I didn't get any! Tonight's order I even put in the comments how last time the curry was mostly liquid and could we please get a better portion. That obviously didn't work. The restaurant looked great inside, clean and good decor though it's take out only because of COVID. Staff was wearing masks and hand sanitizer was available. This is the best PAD THAI in Tennessee and perhaps the tri state area. I've been searching a long time for a pad Thai this good. You can control the spice level from none to 5. I normally get beef and my partner gets shrimp or chicken. It has always been AMAZING and the quality has never gone down. The deep fried dumplings were fried perfectly. Pad Thai is my comfort zone, so of course we had that, no disappointment here, spice level of 3-4 was on point. Very nice staff. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai (N-3) and added shrimp (+$3). I got 2 shrimp for the up charge - not something I am happy about. At least charge me $3 and give me 3 shrimp ‍. The cilantro on top was not cilantro, but the stems. And the noodles were over saturated with sauce. I also ordered Tofu Spring Rolls (N-1) and got peanut sauce. The sauce was great. Decided to try Thai Bowl for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I saw some good reviews and I haven't had Thai food in awhile. I walked in and was greeted by a female who said we can sit wherever we liked. She gave us menus and got our drink orders. The place is very clean and warm feeling. We ordered the spring rolls. They looked gorgeous coming out. They were good, nothing outstandingly special about them. The peanut dipping sauce was really good I could've eaten that on its own. For my main meal I got the green curry with chicken and asked for it not spicy. It was actually very very delicious. A hint of spice but nothing I couldn't handle. My friend for the basic chicken which was super delicious as well. The only thing that I couldn't get passed is their front door slammed every time someone walked in and out, and everyone else that were in the resturaunt looked every time someone walked in and out hoping they wouldn't just let the door slam behind them.
