The service and restaurant were fine, but just not my favorite thai food. The eggrolls were a little mushy inside and didn't have the greatest tasting filling that I would get at one of our favorites. The green curry was ok but didn't have the same punch. The duck in the duck curry was really chewy even though the flavor of the curry was decent. We thought the mango with sticky rice was ok, but the mangoes weren't as ripe as I would have liked.

Tom yum is sparse with toppings(?) but soup base was soooo good. Crab fried rice was a bit too sweet for me and crab claw meat was bland but my brother likes it a lot so I guess it's a personal preference. Service was good! Granted we were the only party there (came right when the opened lol). Mom and pop vibes. I think it's a solid Thai place for cravings.

came around 4 PM on a weekday and was seated right away with no wait. The restaurant has such a cozy, homey feel and the decor is super cute. It honestly feels very family owned and welcoming. There was an adorable grandma serving the food, which made the whole experience even more charming. We started with the chicken satay. The chicken itself was slightly on the drier side, but the peanut sauce totally made up for it. For mains, we ordered the pad see ew with beef. The noodle texture was excellent: soft with just the right amount of chew, and the seasoning was well balanced. I liked that they used Chinese broccoli, which gave it a nice slight bitterness to contrast the savory sauce. The egg was placed more in the center instead of being fully mixed throughout, which was a little different but still tasted great. We also tried the Bangkok drink and Thai tea. I appreciated that they asked how sweet we wanted the drinks, it's always nice when places let you customize the sweetness level.

Great service. Small place. A few tables inside. Clean. I really enjoyed the basil and chili sauce. It was very flavorful. I soaked it all up with the rice. The only thing I was disappointed in was the protein to veggie ratio.

Consistent service and food quality. It's a little hole in the wall which makes it even better! Love the Tom kha soup and the drunken noodles were delicious!!

Chicken instead of ordered it pork Panang Curry

Been a customer for 15+ years. Orderedwith Uber Eats tonight. Usualu the Tom Kha Beef soup is thick and coconut milk filler.... today it was all watered down like tea water. The beef was purple colored. The Pad Kee Mow was not cooked properly with the red chilli spices still partially raw. Ordered the pork Panang Curry but I got chicken delivered! Not sure what's going on with your restaurant! Requested side of Green Chillies in Vinegar ... received nothing! It was requested in writing on the order.

Got the Pad See Ew with tofu, my go-to at thai places and it was super tasty! I verified with the server that it had no fish sauce, egg okay. I'm used to non-veggie places slacking off on flavoring their vegetarian options (Manaao Thai I'm looking at you) but even the tofu here was pretty well seasoned. No line, food came super quick, and service was super friendly! What more to ask for!

Wow! Absolutely incredible food. My boyfriend and I split the red bell pepper bamboo curry and the pad see ew with crispy pork. Omg it's so good! The curry was full of flavor and the pork was cooked to perfection. The staff was also incredibly kind! I'm going to bring all my friends and family here.

Tried the Pad See Ew with Beef and the Full-sized BBQ Chicken with a side of rice -- all for around $41. The Pad See Ew was delicious, you can never go wrong with getting that. The BBQ chicken was good too; it had a tangy flavor and the sauces it came with are a nice addition. The service was fine. However, I'd avoid ordering on their website since their software was a little weird -- our order didn't process on the website, so we had to call and they had to manually accept it (they were confused about it too). As we were about to pick up the food, they called us to say they didn't have mangos for the Mango Sticky Rice we originally ordered, so they cancelled it and refunded us for that item with cash when we arrived. Lastly, we picked up our food on a Thursday afternoon. It wasn't busy at all, all the tables were free and there was no line. The inside was cutely decorated too. Parking was also ok!

My review is long overdue. I came to place a takeout order a while back one late afternoon. I think it's ran by a couple and they were super sweet. The lady took my order and then I paid and waited at the restaurant. I really like how they decorated the place. If I dine in, I would love to sit at one of the two tables right next to the glass wall, so you can look outside. It has an outdoor indoor courtyard feel. I order drunken noodles, spicy beef salad, chicken satay, and mango sticky. rice (because of the blue/purple sticky rice). Food was really good and I was so happy and satisfied. Highly recommend!

We got 1. Crab fried rice claw meat: 9/10 my favorite dish of the meal! Very flavorful and it leans very slightly sweet. 2. Pad Thai w beef (8/10) good flavor but the noodles were just a little too wet 3. Pad kee mao: (5/10) this was kind of a miss for us. Flavor did not taste any like regular drunken noodles. You can already tell by the color. 4. Panang curry (9/10) another hit for the table 5. Thai tea was HUGE

There was a crowd of people waiting outside so I was a bit nervous that it would take really long. But we added our name to the waitlist on the iPad outside and we were sat in less than 30 minutes (when we went on the list, we were party 13). The wait went by super fast! By the time we finished our meal, there were lots of open seats. I first heard of this place as a "copycat Din Tai Fung". I actually think it's better to think of this place as another Taiwanese restaurant that serves similar food to DTF, but not a copycat. Although some of the popular items are the same (XLBs for example) the restaurants are definitely different. Firstly, the service here is SO FAST. And all the servers were really kind! We ordered our food and it felt like everything came out within MINUTES of each other. By the time we had all our savory dishes, I had only taken one bite out of the first dish. That's how fast it was! Haha We ended up ordering: Spicy XLBs, Beef Roll, Golden Prime Beef Noodle Soup, and Taro XLBs for dessert. Everything was DELICIOUS! My husband's favorite was the Beef Roll, while I think my favorite may have been the soup. The Spicy XLBs (4/5) were great! They felt quite large as I ALMOST had to eat them in two bites (but like why would I ever do that). Flavor was great and I thought there was actually very little spice in these. Compared to DTF'x XLBs, I thought these were just as juicy, but less ginger-forward (which made it feel less flavorful), and more sweet. I was personally missing some acid and wanted a bit more salt cuz it was a tad sweet. The Beef Rolls were pretty good too (4.25/5)! Nice and crispy. Even though it's pan fried, it felt light because of the vegetables. And I know this is weird to say, but the combination of beef, hoison sauce, and veggies almost tasted like pho flavors...but crispy? Yummy! I personally again wanted a bit more salt. But I'd definitely order again. Now for my favorite, the Golden Prime Beef Noodle Soup (4.5/5). WOOWWEEE! She's spicy! And I have a good spice tolerance so beware. I really loved the flavor of the broth. It was spicy and also had a really clean flavor. It looked like it would be a watery broth but WRONG! It was so flavorful. I loved the chewy noodles too and even the noodles on their own were spicy cuz they clung onto the broth. A really delicious soup! I'd love to eat this on a cold winter's day or when I'm sick. Delicious! The Taro XLBs (3.9/4) were pretty good too, but skippable. They weren't too sweet, which was nice. They had a lovely consistency and good taro flavor. But compared to everything else, they weren't that special. Overall, a really delicious restaurant! I'd definitely come here if I was craving XLBs/Taiwanese food.

We waited one hour on my visit, but that is to be expected as the restaurant is quite small. Beef Rolls (5/5): We got two orders of these, and it was our favorite for a reason. Crispy and flaky wrap on the outside and it was packed with flavor. It was very satisfying to eat! Scallion Pancakes (3.5/5): They were plain but that is to be expected, I didn't taste much scallion. It needed the sauce of course! Spicy Wontons (4/5): These are solid and the chili oil does pack a lot of heat. I would say they are on the spicier side, just wish there was a little more depth to it. Seven Grams XLB (4/5): Juicy and flavorful! Not the absolute best I've had, but still worth ordering. Golden Beef Noodle Soup (5/5): This bowl right here was amazing. Green leafy kale paired with the extra hearty soup was what made this bowl a standout dish for me. 100% would order this alone! Mapo Tofu (5/5): Yummy silky tofu cubes with the minced meat sauce were delicious in every bite! I had no other complaints, but this dish gets very filling easily. Seriously, this place is one of my favorite places in Tustin. The service one inside is efficient, and the ambience is a bit noisy and packed, but this place is popular for a reason. I'll definitely revisit this spot when I get the chance.

The restaurant itself is a bit on the small side so you'll be close to your neighbors not that it was an issue personally. My buddy and I ordered our items and shared with each other for a good full experience. We got the three-in-one noodles medium heat and the Ma Hu Beef noodles with mild heat alongside the cucumbers with medium heat as an appetizer. Cucumbers were very fresh! However, they really were just cucumbers with a little heat on them so they weren't anything too special. Once the main entrees came in, I couldn't stop myself from digging in! I forgot to take a picture until after some damage was done to our meals. Three-in-one was so flavorful and sweet with the noodles becoming incredibly soft after having mixed it all together. The star of the show for me though was the Ma Hu Beef noodles. The beef was remarkably tender and delicious and the noodles had a firmer texture that complimented with the flavors. Oddly enough, the mild heat on the Ma Hu Beef was spicier than the medium heat three-in-one! If you find yourself in the mood for Biangbiang noodles, this is definitely the spot to go to. On a side unrelated note about the parking which did not influence my review; the parking here is rough. It's consistently packed so watch out for that. There is a structure across the street that allows parking for the food court. I parked in the structure but I had a bad experience because since it's also parking for the residents above, the gate was closed on us after 8pm. I had to wait for a vehicle to come out and open the gate for not only just me but for multiple other people that had also parked in the structure!Just something to keep in mind. Hopefully that doesn't continue being an issue for future guests.

Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. We tried a variety of items: Shrimp egg rolls, fish with seaweed, fried pork buns, Shanghai rice cakes, and salt and pepper pork. All the items were really tasty except for the fried pork buns - don't get those. The bun part was very mushy and you didn't get any soup inside. The fish with seaweed and salt and pepper pork chops were excellent. Very flavorful and not too salty. I would definitely get those again. The Shanghai style rice cakes are also very good, nice and chewy, definitely cooked correctly. And you can't go wrong with the shrimp egg rolls - they came with large chunks of shrimp which was nice. Khao soi with soft-shell crab: 5/5 my favorite dish here. You need to order family-style though…read moresince it's pretty salty. 2 whole crabs and they're not small. Pad Thai: 4/5 The chicken is pretty dry, but everything else is great. Maybe try a different protein when you order Pineapple fried rice: 5/5 No notes. Not something we order every time, but it's good. Roti combo: 3/5 nothing special about fried chicken wings and it's just 2-3 roti cut into quarters with curry sauce. It was definitely a lot of food for two people, and we happily had leftovers. The servers were very nice and accommodating, and I loved the colorful interior design. My favorites were the roti combo and the fried chicken, which was crunchy, flavorful, and really well done. The Leng Zapp and steamed branzino were also delicious, especially if you enjoy sour soups. Overall, great food, fun atmosphere, and definitely a place I'd come back to!
