The vegetable pad Thai and the fried rice were AMAZING. Highly recommend the coconut ice cream and the mango sticky rice too. The restaurant was clean and I love how they decorated the place with these jelly-fish looking things on the ceiling. My godson visited me last week from Massachusetts. He has been to Thailand 4 times and loves the cuisine. I decided to give him a treat by taking him to Thai Hot. He could not decide what to order; there were so many wonderful choices. Finally he asked to go have the chef do what ever the chef thought would transport his mind back to Thailand the best! My godson was blown away by a fish presentation that he said was the best Thai food he had experienced in America! We are so lucky to have Thai Hot in the valley! Recently had dinner at Hot Thai-and was so disappointed. We started with Thai meatballs, flavors were there but was very dry meatballs seemed over cooked. Drunken noodle dish was not good either. Noodles over cooked clumped together and not very flavorful. Thai food is sweet sour spicy salty and savory. These noodle were lacking in all categories. Third dish was red curry and it was good had nice flavors and heat was medium spicy. I would order this dish again. Next dish was whole sea bass with sweet and sour sauce. This was big letdown! Fish was small and sauce was way to sweet could not taste much more that the Sryup sauce would not order again. Last dish was green papaya salad, and it was also bland. It lacked sour element which is the lime juice. It was very small portion. They menu shows nice pictures items they prepare but not one item delivered to table was same as picture in the menu. I do understand everyone has a bad day and if I write a poor or bad review I like to give them another chance. So I am going to try this place one more time. If this review is still up in a few days it's because the second time was no better that the first. read more

The best Pad Kee Mow I have ever had. We have eaten at all the favored Thai restaurants in the greater desert area and this place is far better than most. Great food! We went during Coachella, so it was extremely busy and they were slightly understaffed, but that's to be expected during that weekend. The food was excellent and more than made up for the service. I'm sure the service would be much better during a regular weekend. Well made Thai food served hot and with great service. The desserts are interesting, and there are a few menu items that we have not seen in other Thai restaurants. My husband wanted Thai food for this birthday so we checked out Thai Hot and it was fantastic! He usually can handle super hot fare, but he was surprised when he was complete with a couple bites of the Thai Hot Massamun . I had the Lamb version "mild" and was quite tasty. Our friends had the Pad Thai and Stir-Fried Eggplant - all very good. They even surprised my husband with dessert of Thai custard and Bualoy - with a birthday candle and singing to boot! The curry is good, the flavirs are there. I expected it to be more thick sauce but overall it is great combined with either brown or white rice. Pineapple fried rice is great as well! read more
