The ma po tofu seemed modest in portion size, but perhaps I'm underrating that because it was quite filling, and included not just tofu but an array of fake meats and some peppers (or "capsicum" as the locals say). You're not getting a picture of it, perhaps because I was thrown for a loop by a literal fly in the soup experience. Mind you, in Australia, people aren't big on air conditioning and this place is, like many other buildings wide open, leaving ample opportunity for an enterprising insect to slip in. In any case, I'm not the sort to go on some mindless rage over these types of things, so I'm giving them a bit of a probationary three stars. The prices weren't the cheapest of cheap (especially considering it was at a mall a bit removed from the beach), and while mouthwatering, it wasn't the spiciest of spicy dishes. I'll hope for a better experience in the (entirely likely) event that I visit again in the future.
