The pad Thai seemed to be missing something, the orange chicken didn't pack the punch it should but it was ok. Their Thai ice coffee 10/10 was awesome. Their sweet sticky rice, wasn't as sweet as it could Have been. It was Meh. Just walk here for the coffee.

I got the appetizer sampler. It was normal American-Asian fried junk, but I kinda liked it. Well,…read morethe egg rolls were just okay. The texture was good, but they kinda taste like nothing. The cheese wonton things had a nice texture too. The shrimp were probably the best as I feel like they're usually less consistent, but these had a great crisp to it. The sauce was like a normal-ish sweet and sour in taste. However, I was not a huge fan of the spicy basil I ordered. I did not find this to be "aromatic." Rather, instead of spicy basil, it seems that I accidentally ordered the spicy onion, as every bite is meat and onion. I can hardly taste the tiny amount of basil. Their spice level goes from 1 to 10. I asked if the 10 would be an American 10 or Thai 10. He said it's "not 'that' spicy," so I went with 10. This turned out to be about right for what I wanted. On a 1 to 10 of Thai spicy, I would put this at about a.......4-5, so it is actually spicy. The flavor was still kinda lacking though. This dish is proof that just because something spicy, doesn't mean it has a lot of umami. Also, I don't like the rice here. I think it's not jasmine or short grain? It's long grain, right? Is it good quality Thai long grain or some cheap thing? I want to say I prefer it to be more absorbent enough for spicy food, but that's definitely not the main issue here. Or they don't use a rice cooker, but I'm not sure. What kind of brand is this? It sucks.

The food here tastes delicious, it has that distinct taste that makes you want to come back for more every time. The Thai Tea here is perfect, holding number one for any other Thai Teas I ever had. It's not too sweet or not too watered down with the flavor, it's exactly holds the essence of what the drink is. Despite being a small restaurant, I feel welcomed coming here every time. Pam is my favorite server here and brings a positive attitude to the restaurant. 5 stars, would recommend for anyone wanting Thai cuisine.

They couldn't find my ticket, despite it being clearly visible on their order board, which made it seem like the order had simply been overlooked. To make matters worse, after the confusion was sorted out, I was asked to wait while they prepared the order. Unfortunately, I had scheduled the pickup time for a reason and did not have extra time to spare. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing. Advance orders should be organized and ready at the agreed-upon time, especially when customers make the effort to plan ahead. Based on this experience, I will not be using this service again.

I was in awe of their crab pad Thai which was delicious. It was saucey and balanced sweet and salty. I loved the add tartness from the lime too. Actually what was the star of the menu were the tom yum chicken wings. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The flavor was unique and savory. We were excited to try the Massaman curry. It was a little underwhelming. Tasted like the green curry with brown sauce. I thought it would be more nutty. The ribeye was tight and rubbery. Thought the service was okay. Nothing outstanding. It was unclear whether we ordered at the cashier or by server. We ended up ordering with the server.

Not sure exactly how long they have been at this location but I seem to remember a not as appealing restaurant being there before. You walk in and there is enough room for about twenty or so people to dine inside. Always a plus. Staff was super friendly. I'm used to having to pay before served, as that seems to be the norm these days in many placed, not Mae's I was told pay when I leave. That helps to cement in the true restaurant feel. Generous portions and you get a glass of water without even being asked. I did ask and was provided with nice bamboo disposable chop sticks to eat with. I had the Drunken Noodles with Pork. Hot scale 5, and yes it did bring a tear to my eye. Other restaurants can not bring on the heat and flavor. Mae's Thai Kitchen brought on the heat and flavor. I was a bit surprised that there was no hot sauce or soy at the table. Did not ask for any sauce either as was not needed. The noodles and pork were done to perfection. The mark of a good chef is no sauce extra or flavor needed. What came to my table was Perfect. Reasonably priced and could actually feed two people if you wanted. Look at my plate there was a generous supply of pork provided. Yes I'd recommend to friends and family. Hot scale runs from 1 to 5 (I said 100) Food was great!!!

The Tom Kah soup was perfectly sweet/sour - one of the best Tom soups I've ever had! The Cashew Nut tofu was savory and delicious. The veggies were cooked beautifully (not overdone) and the tofu was crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. Add water chestnuts and it would be perfect. Sabrosito! My husband had the Fried Chicken Wings. They looked like Grandma's fried chicken (no one did fried chicken better) and remained crispy and juicy throughout the whole meal. Sauce was served on the side, which helped with the crispness factor. He was very happy with his meal. The hostess/server/cook (she does it all!) was attentive and helpful. And boy, can she cook! Yum! We will definitely be back!
