The lady at the front was very nice. I got Pad Thai with Combo meat. As soon as I got in the car with my takeout order, I expected an appetizing aroma, but it was more of a burnt smell. I opened it and the portion was average for a $15 plate. I expected the food to have some taste of spices or sauce or something but all the meat tastes bland. There are no noticeable flavors aside from the strong roasted green onions that occasionally slip into a bite. I would say the noodles are bland as well but they are the source of the burnt smell, half the noodles tasted burnt. I think I will have to take this home and drown it in hot sauce or something. read more

Great food and generous portions. My husband has been in the hospital for the past week and before that he had surgery. We tried this little gem the night before his surgery. We split the chicken pad Thai and an order of gyoza. We requested spicy pad Thai and it wasn't, although we were given some great fresh sauces to spice it up. The delicious gyoza included 10 which is more than any place usually includes. My only complaint would be that they put tofu in their pad Thai. The second time we tried it, I called in my order and requested the pad Thai extra spicy, no tofu and extra chicken. It was perfect and had a good bite to it. read more

worst food ever. I ordered the Thai bbq and I got an overboiled chicken what looked like a turkey leg with feathers. they added Heinz bbq sauce. The satay chicken was drenched in fake bbq sauce. The rib was more like a rib tip. The white rice was a disappointment- like who messes up white rice. It was very cheap quality. The teriyaki chicken plate says it's charbroiled and it's really pan fried and super dry. The tempura was more like crusted veggies. When I spoke to the owner all she can say was it's a different type of thai food. It Sure was, it was the worst ever. im sick to my stomach - do not waste your $$. You're better off starving. Very convenient placement as it is right next to the hospital, and was craving pad thai so badly. Sadly, this place did not deliver. I bought pad thai with chicken and they give a lot. So you do get your money's worth for how much they give you. However, I did not eat even half of it. It was not delicious to me at all. The taste is not fresh, not appetizing. I decided to keep it and hopefully save some for later because it would have been a waste. Brought it back home, ended up throwing it anyway without eating any more. My friends bought food and couldnt finish eat, and just threw the rest away because she didnt like it. My other friend got pad thai with shrimp and said it was pretty good. Delicous little mom and pop possibly my new favorite Thai restaurant because the food is auper flavorful, they are quick to prepare the food, and the prices are quite low considering how much food you get. Would recommend to anyone living near the area! Pad see ew was so much better here than ive had at other places for twice the price. Also they have vegan options which is nice! I've been here a few times so far, and I'd say it's really not a bad place to grab a lunch. During my last visit, I ordered pad thai with pork and Thai Ice Coffee with Boba. The pad thai was reasonably tasty - I've had better (TG Express), but I've also had worse (Thai Deli). The portion size was quite generous for the modest price of $7.25, and they thankfully did not skimp on the meat portion. I found the Thai ice coffee to be very flavorful and strong, although lacking in the sweetness/creaminess that typically marks the Thai ice coffee served by other vendors. In spite of that, I still liked it. The quantity of boba provided was very satisfactory, as was the quality (proper chewiness, moistness, and texture). Always check your order before leaving to ensure that they don't forget to put boba in your drink if you ordered it (which they did once, in my case. Wankers.). I should also note that my coworker tried the wonton soup, and commented that it was quite tasty for $4, with a surprisingly large portion of wontons in the broth. In a previous visit, I tried the BBQ combo (roasted chicken, pork ribs, chicken satay, with white rice and salad), which left a little to be desired - the salad wasn't that great, and the meat was rather lacking in sauce. I would not recommend it. I also tried the shrimp tempura, which wasn't terrible, but was also not particularly impressive. Give it a try though, you might like it more than I did. The people working here seem to be nice enough, I can't say anything bad about them. Thai Kitchen shares a small parking lot with a number of other restaurants in a strip mall, so you are likely to encounter difficulties finding a spot during peak hours. Try finding a curb spot on Brittania street if the lot is full. read more

This place was a staple in the community. I'm not sure if this restaurant is under new management, the food quality isn't what I remember it to be. The pad thai was not good the sauce used ruined the dish. I've never tasted pad Thai with that sauce. The shrimp fried rice was very basic and nothing that I couldn't have done at home. Horrible costumer service since the new Hispanic girl they have working there. They messed up an order and she had the nerve to say I gave too many problems because I asked for no onion and added extras. I PAID for the extras. She stated the cook would not redo my order but rather take out what i didn't want, who does that?. As i walked out, she told me I gave them problems and they don't need that to which i said, you're right, you don't need me, I won't be coming here anymore. Her reply? That's good, one less costumer, no problem. I have been here a few times and loved the food but not today. I have gotten yellow curry from here before and it was good and very bright yellow. Today they gave me grey colored curry. It tasted like just coconut milk and the potatoes were undercooked. I didn't even want to try the chicken as the curry also kind of looked like oatmeal lol . I went back and kindly asked if I could either have a refund or get a new one. She took the curry out but wouldn't open it. She began to argue with me and say that it's because I asked for no spice. This is how I knew she was in the wrong, because she never asked me about the spice. Even if she did, I have been here before and ordered it mild and it didn't look or taste anything like this . Then she acted like I've never been there before, and said all restaurants make it differently. She offered a new dish, I again asked if I could have a refund, and she declined. I come here often because I love their spicy & sour shrimp soon which is delicious and the location is across the street from my work. This soup is the ONLY thing I order from there. I would love to give Thai Kitchen at least 4 stars because of their soup but there customer service is horrible. (specifically the young cashier girl) Like always, I ordered a spicy and shrimp soup ( $1 for extra mushroom) but the cashier misheard me and charged me for the spicy and sour CHICKEN soup (the soup had no chicken or soup in it). After receiving my meal, I told her that they had made a mistake. I did not want to waste the soup so I asked if she could simply just give me the shrimp on the side. Instead of her being polite and offering a solution, she ignored me and said "You get what you order." I told her I would pay the difference if the price was the issue and she still refused to remake the order. I am guessing she didn't want to get in trouble with whoever was making the order. It wasn't until another employee stepped in and replaced my order. As much as I love the soup, Thai Kitchen as officially lost my business.
