We are addicted to this place! I would say we eat there at least once every other week. Loving that they now have a location in El Dorado Hills (town center). Their lunch is great (comes with a side salad)! Their EDH location also delivers, so you can stay home and get their deliciousness. I have noticed that the delivery portions are a little bigger than the portions when you eat there. We almost moved away... and this was the restaurant that me and my wife were most going to miss... Best Thai food anywhere. The quality and freshness of the food they prepare, along with delicious recipes is one of a kind. I always try Thai food when traveling for a healthy option, and nothing compares to Thai Paradise. It is not cheap fast food. It is high quality, fresh, delicious food. I find that the orders are always enough for two meals, there is nothing small about the portion sizes. The salmon is divine and the yellow curry special with shrimp and avocado is excellent. I can't believe how generous they are with the avocado. The service is always top notch with friendly, consistent staff that remember who you are. Update: went here for dinner and had a much better exerpience! We got yellow curry and pad siew with the crystal noodles--both were great! We also got sticky rice to dip in peanut sauce. How is it that I haven't written a review for this place yet? I've been coming here since 2004! Reliable, good thai food, lots of seating since they took over the old camera store next door, and fast service. A plus for me is that they are open all day, from 11 a.m. onwards, so it fits into my erratic eating schedule...I don't think about lunch until it is 2:30, and then most places are closed! Another plus is that they are open on days that other restaurants are closed (Christmas, New Year, etc.) The food really is amazing, even better re-heated the next day! The food was only average but the service was terrible. My husband got his main dish 10 minutes before mine. The appetizer arrived after both main dishes were served, and only after I reminded the waitress three times that we ordered it. Also had to remain her 3 times that I had ordered rice. Then the bill was delivered before the dessert was served, although we had ordered it at the same time as our dinner order. We ordered take out here while driving through town, we had fresh spring rolls, they came with the most amazing peanut sauce and chili sauce I have ever had! We also had the red curry and pad Thai both were absolutely delicious, great food the service was amazing they walked my to go order out to the car. read more

A place that's better suited for lunch than for supper. The wait seemed longer than it should. The noodles were too salty, the angel wings were bland, and the broccoli beef was limp. I did like the Thai Iced tea, and they had refills, which not everyplace does. There's a lot better Thai food out there. read more

The people here are very friendly and genuine. Service is excellent! We came for lunch. Sat outside on their beautiful patio with all of their organic vegetables and herbs, just lovely! Salads were brought out as soon as we were seated. The peanut dressing was delicious. Had the Thai basil special (apparently the most popular dish in Thailand) with ground chicken sautéed in a really tasty sauce with just the right kick, and topped with fried eggs. Sooooo good! We also had the grilled Thai ribs. Tender and slathered with a chunky marinade and topped with fried garlic! M...m....mmm! And their chili flakes are home made and roasted, so when you sprinkle it on your dishes, they get a smokey spice! For dessert, we had the mango and sticky rice with coconut cream, an absolute fave! We ordered many dishes that required accommodation (vegan / gluten free/ no veggies.. you know the drill each person likes it differently). Anyone who thinks this food is remotely close to authentic is wrong and has never had real Thai food. The restaurant was very nice walking in. But the service was alright not too much to complain about but when I ordered the Tom kha koong my life fell apart and could not believe the blasphemy before my eyes! As a vegetarian it can be difficult to find places that have a vegan/no fish/no oyster/ no egg options, but this place does! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also had some kids with us and they loved the food. For an early Saturday dinner the place was packed, but there was no wait time and the food came out pretty quickly. I've come to expect the fact that I have to cut up the large chunks of pork, carrots, and onion though fried rice is not normally a fork and knife meal. My one star rating comes down to tonights pathetic small serving of rice which the dish is based on. My wife's side serving of rice was larger than my entree sized fried rice - a complete rip off! We were given a gift card for this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. We have never had Thai food and are not big on super spicy foods as that is the perception we had of Thai foods. We selected dishes that were similar to other asian cuisines that we normally eat. We ordered the angel wings, pad se-iew, cashew nut chicken, sweet and sour chicken, green bean saute with beef, and Thai Fried rice with chicken. The fried rice was amazing. It had the taste of what you want for a rice dish without the greasy oil in typical fried rice dishes. The angel wings were highly recommended so we ordered those and they were delicious. It is a breaded and stuffed chicken thigh that is not dried out and gives you a "crunch" without the deep fried taste. The chicken pad se-iew was so tasty and the sauce was very flavorful. My favorite out of the 3 meat dishes was the cashew nut chicken. The veggies were fresh and crunchy without being under done and it went perfectly with the rice and noodles. The green bean beef had a little spice to it (not unbearable) the sweet and sour chicken was flavorful but the sauce was too watery for my liking. the fried rice and noodles was enough to make us return. read more
