Today was my first time dining here and I truly enjoyed! To start, the establishment was super clean which I very much appreciated. The bottles of condiments on each table had clean spouts & even the high chair I used for my son was wiped down very well. It didn't have any sticky spots from previous diners. We ordered the rare beef and meatball Pho, combo appetizer (fried tofu, fried shrimp, and spring rolls), sticky rice, and a Thai tea. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The pho had so much noodles I couldn't even finish lol. Very good portion!! I enjoyed the meatballs, nice consistency... also the rare beef was tender and juicy. Oh, and the Thai tea- I loved it so much I considered ordering some to go! You must order one if you go here, it's so refreshing. Really great late lunch today! I had the tofu Ban Mi sandwich which is hard to come by and was delicious! I wish there was more tofu; the bread to filling ratio was off. We had also ordered spring rolls, so to make room for them, I just ate the sandwich with half the bread:) My fella got #89 (pork vermicelli with a spring roll) and it was delicious. They don't serve beer or wine, but will let you BYOB! And, there's a Safeway right across the parking lot. read more

Good food and pretty good service. I don't know if they were trying to nickel and dime me, but it felt like it. I asked for lemon or lime for water. They brought it, but charged me $4 for it! I came with my wife and 4 small kids (small enough that they shared plates) and we were charged gratuity. I always tip anyway, so not sure if they do that for everyone or what. I've been here twice so far and will continue to return, it's a Thai-Asian fusion. I had the combination banh mi the first time and as simple as it was, it was also layered with flavor and freshness an absolute must have. The next time I had spicy Sukiyaki soup and once again was not disappointed, the depth of flavor was as amazing as it was feeling, on top of good food the service has been great both times, friendly and courteous, it hasn't been busy either time, so if waiting to eat is something you don't want to do this is the place. read more

What I don't understand is why restaurants insist on putting dishes on their menu that are just plain awful... there's a handful of restaurants, similar to Thai Pho Ewa, that offer a VERY WIDE, rather over-reaching variety of dishes to choose from. Some are actually good, but this restaurant was just not it. Think Saito pho & Japanese- they offer Vietnamese and Japanese dishes, and they do it well. This restaurant left me speechless, and not in a good way. Tip to the cook: stick to what you know...Just because you're an Asian restaurant DOES NOT mean you should serve all/any Asian cuisine. I went in on a Sunday night and ordered lad na seafood crispy noodle off their "special" menu. It sounded good to me and I figured if it's a special, it should be...good? Needless to say, it was SO bad. The "crispy noodle" was confused. It was spongey while stale at the same time. Honestly, I'd even say it was gross. The sauce/gravy came separate and unimpressive. The shrimps were frozen, the squid was rubbery, just everything...it was fricken bad. Took one bite and it went straight in the trash :/ Maybe if I'd ordered a standard Thai curry, it wouldn't have been such a let down. However, based off first impression, I will not be back...you can just tell the cooks in the back are lazy and just throwing shit together. It's located right next to Buffalo Wild Wings in Ewa. They offer a variety of Asian food. When I went there I tried their stuffed chicken wings, summer rolls, crab &shrimp omelette, and pho. All of the food was a 10/10. Service was good as well. The lady working the front was sweet. Highly recommend the crab&shrimp omelette. Gonna try go back and try their Thai curry. Bread is not toasted or barely even sliced open, and they have the meat just sitting on top of this dry bread with not much vegetables. I didnt seem like they knew how to make it. Three of us ate here. Restaurant was a very nice lay out, plenty of room. We ordered summer rolls for an appetizer. I had Chicken Salad, my wife had soup, and my mother-in-law had pho. Tom Yum Gong soup was delicious, pho very tasty, and my chicken salad was terrific. The service, however, was not good. We usually mix our sauces before we eat and asked the server for the small bowls and she was clearly irritated. When she brought out the vegetables for the pho, we understood, because the bowl was upside down on top of the vegetables and clearly that was they way the did things. Then she said, oh, did you want extra, and brought out one more bowl. Very uncomfortable. I tried to smooth out by being kind to her but it was useless. There were only two other tables occupied, so I don't know why she had such an attitude, we were very nice. This place opened three days ago and I've already been here twice. Extensive menu choices. The first time I dined in. Ate the rare steak pho and spring rolls. The pho is the best in ewa. The broth has a nice clean hearty taste, the meat wasn't thinly sliced like you get at most pho places, but it was very tender, and the portion size was ample. I really liked the spring rolls because they were nice and crispy, was packed with stuff, and there were more rolls in one order than I've ever seen anywhere else. The fish sauce had just the right amount of sugar and spice. The second time, I did take out. Ordered the chicken bahn mi sandwich and the grilled pork and spring roll vermicelli . The chicken sandwich was out of this world. I'm definitely getting that again and again. Lots of chicken, and just the right amount of vegetables. Just add a little bit of Sriracha and it's perfect. The noodles were a little over cooked on the vermicelli, but there was a good amount of vegetables and meat in it. Not the best I've had, but definitely still good. Next time I'm going to try it with the chicken. I hope this place makes it. There's been many restaurants that have come and gone from that spot. The food here is really good. I really do hope people check it out so that this small business can survive. We really needed a good Vietnamese spot like this in the neighborhood. MANGO MILK TEA WAS ALSO PRETTY BAD & THE BROWN SUGAR WAS VERY PLAIN. Very little brown sugar added. Couldn't taste and when asked for extra brown sugar walls we were told everything is by measurement only. Also asked for little ice and was told i would have a half cup of liquid only. Why is that.? I wanted to order pho with lean beef so beef flanc but they said they only have brisket and that meat is NOT fatty so I went with it. I only saw fat with this meat after picking it up so I called them but they didn't even apologize nor offer a refund or anything . They didn't even let us know that their curry doesn't come with rice so we ate curry without rice. All food tasted not good including pad Thai. Never recommend this place to anybody. It is a nice place/ atmosphere but the service was not good the older lady taking my order kept disappearing when I tried to tell her what I wanted then when I got my food there was nothing that stood out flavor wise. The food looks great but I'm not sure how there was no taste to it. I was asking if they have lemon grass chicken because it doesn't say it on the menu but the I'm assuming owner confirmed it saying that although it's not on the menu the chicken is marinated in lemon grass. When I got it... there was NO LEMON GRASS FLAVOR AT ALL. The iced coffee tasted like spoiled milk I told the lady I would prefer not to have it at all but she insisted on remaking it and it STILL tasted spoiled so I just threw it away. I made my friend smell it, the owner and they even agreed saying it smelt strange. I don't recommend this place and no I wouldn't come back. Sorry but there's saito and pho down the street which in my opinion is a lot better. read more

Tried Pho Ewa for the first time tonight. We were very happy with our meal. I had the rare beef and brisket pho and my wife had the oxtail pho. Both were very good. We also had the pork and vegetable egg rolls. Very good. Finished off the night with the sweet potato tapioca pudding. Excellent. If there is one negative comment, it would be that they seemed to be out of a lot of items. I chalk that up to the business being only two months old and they're still trying to find their footing.
