Had to write a review of this place to warn others. We ordered the "Pud Thai" and got a large plate of noodles bathed in sauce. The chicken was dry and the sauce tasted like its base was ketchup. We thought we might have picked a bad dish but we turned to the only other two diners in the large establishment and asked them how they liked their food. Disgusting was the word they used. Really really rude service. Unlike anything we encountered anywhere in New Zealand. Someone seated the two of us at a table for four near the back (away from the door where it was cold) and an older hostess (owner?) made us move to a table for two near the door. Her manner was simply rude - at minimum she could have asked gently. A moment later another party of 2 came in and she seated them at a table for 4. I wish I read the previous review before going in here. I ordered that Pad Thai and instantly said it tasted ketchup-y. It was not worth eating. Curry puff was better and service was good. Would not recommend. read more
