I paid $46 for tinny portions of food it is a complete rip and the food isn't that great.

Made it back and was able to order the Thai basil fried rice that I had been wanting to try. I don't make a lot of good decisions, but I think this one is among the best. The fried rice was everything I thought it would be. I love Asian places that serve enough fried rice to where the dish can be a meal on its own. I recall almost having to request for a takeout container because I was so full! As for flavor, heavenly spicy. There was a sliver of grease, but it wasn't a big deal. I got what I came for. I think I'll get it with chicken next time. Oh, I can't forget about the chicken satay. It served as a solid entree. The meat was juicy, tender and plentiful. Of course, the great taste was augmented by the peanut sauce on the side. My previous rating for TS was a four, with a likelihood of being bumped to five. So here we are!

We wanted a quick lunch and we got it. We were the first patrons since they opened at 11a. Place was clean and didn't have a bad smell to it. I liked the pictures on one of the wall with the different type of noodles. Sometimes you don't know the difference. On with the food/ we ordered the summer soft roll to start, I had the Tom yum chicken soup for another dish to try, chicken curry noodle soup for my daughter and I ordered Thai basil fried rice with beef. Excellent. Came out perfectly timed and all well seasoned. I finished it all. My daughter's noodle soup was just spicy enough and not overly noodles. I don't like it when there's not enough other stuff and just noodles. Perfect mix and perfect spiced. I would've eaten all of my rice but wanted to keep some as a snack for later. The soup was the best and the yummiest. Def recommend if you are in town and enjoy Thai food. Price is good and not expensive at all.

I came back to Thai Spice recently, I am glad that the service and quality of food hasn't diminished at all. The staff are wonderful, the atmosphere is family friendly, and their food is amazing. It's clean inside, there's enough space for a large family to seat in, and I love their original artwork. Thai Spice serve you some egg rolls, with the soup of the day, and a small salad on the side. The salad contains peanut dressing, so if you're allergic, you may have to eat your salad dry. Thai Spice have some of the greatest noodle bowls and curry rice dishes I've ever had. Everything was served hot and the presentation was spot on. I'd come back here anytime.

I just don't understand why this place doesn't have more business. I've frequented here for lunch as well as dinner and the place never seems to have more than three tables occupied. The Pad Thai, Tom Yum, Pineapple Fried Rice and Angel Wings are my go to. Always consistently great! The service here is super fast and friendly. I'm always greeted immediately upon arriving and seated promptly. The food comes out very quickly. The Angel Wings (appetizer) have this awesome sauce that I keep to put on my Pad Thai or Rice. The Pad Thai at Level 3 spicy is perfect. I usually opt for the chicken. Always tender.

I recently stumbled upon a Facebook ad for their fantastic $3 Thai food event, and instantly thought, "Look, self! We ought to check it out!" So, this afternoon, I eagerly made my first visit to take advantage of such a sweet deal. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a canopy laden with various food items, all beckoning potential diners. The BBQ pork skewers immediately caught my eye, and the chicken meatball skewers and wings looked equally tempting. I ended up with about $24 worth of food, including the skewers, kung pao chicken, and both plain and fried rice, which I took inside to enjoy. Or so I thought. Honestly, my lunch was a bit hit-or-miss. I really enjoyed the BBQ pork, the kung pao chicken, and the pad thai, but both the plain and fried rice lacked significant flavor. The chicken meatball, unfortunately, was also a disappointment. Portion-wise, the food was definitely sizable, so much so that I ended up packing a lot into a to-go box. I quenched my thirst with a Thai iced tea, which was incredibly refreshing on a hot day like this. While I wouldn't say I got my money's worth, it was certainly worth a try given the special event.

Also wished that the peanuts were on the side rather than on the dish by default, so I'll keep that in mind. 5/5 Kao Pad - Spice level 1.5 seems wimpy, but it is perfect that way. SO extremely flavorful and the steak is so nicely cooked. Also love the tomatoes. 5/5 Ahi Tuna - I legit could go here and only get this. Everything about it is so perfect (other than the wasabi, because who invited wasabi to this perfect dish?) 4.5/5 Panang Curry - Very enjoyable, though I do wish there was more protein to the dish. 3/5 Asparagus and Crab - Kind of a disappointment. I don't think the two complement each other in any meaningful way. 3/5 Chilean Sea Bass - Chilean Sea Bass is so incredibly overrated. For the price and what we got, it simply left us wanting more of something else (I forgot what the dish is called... whoops, there is a picture) 4.5/5 Raad Prick - Plenty flavorful, though I do feel that there should be more to this dish like vegetables, but it does allow the fish to stand out.

I've gone about five times now and this was by far my least favorite experience (I still liked it, but I was a little disappointed), which was unfortunate since this was my parent's first experience here. My only issues were the food, so here's my opinion on each one we ordered: 1. Thai Tea - 4.8/5 - Definitely one of the best Thai Teas at a restaurant. Though I could still use more of the Thai Tea base flavor rather than milk, everyone at my table still enjoyed this drink. 2. Red Curry - 4.5/5 - Quite nice and had very good flavor. I don't love the addition of bell peppers in here, but that's a personal preference. 3. Pad See Ew - 3/5 - Kind of basic. Nothing made it stand out and noodles this kind of stuck together and became mushy. 4. Pad Thai - 3/5 - I've gotten this twice before, and for some reason it just tasted completely different and nothing like what Pad Thai should actually taste like. Not bad, but just not what you want when eating a Pad Thai. Noodles were also pretty mushy. 5. Steamed Fillet Snapper - 4/5 - Fairly clean and nice tasting, but just a little too plain for my taste. Still, a great option if you want something lighter for your meal. 6. Rib Eye Pepper Steak Thai Style - 4/5 - I really liked the sauce for this one and the beef was cooked very well, but the garlic they chose to put on top was extremely bitter and ruined my thoughts on the dish. I love this place, but this experience was the first time I've ever questioned going back here again. I hope this time was just a fluke.

The green beans xo sauce was phenomenal as well - whatever they coat it in really elevates the flavor and makes the vegetable much more enjoyable. I also wanted something light and hearty so I got the jungle curry. The two tone Thai tea was good, nothing extraordinary but will still satisfy you if you want a milky drink. It's essentially just Thai tea mixed with Thai green tea so if you've ever wanted them mixed together and weren't able to at other places, it doesn't hurt to try here (it's the same price as the regular ones anyway). And for the star to end the meal was the infamous mango sticky rice. By far the best I've had at any restaurant! The mango was perfectly ripe, the sticky rice was a perfect consistency, and the coconut milk was perfectly smooth. Absolute cinema. I would come back here just for this! The experience was --- interesting. As is common with tasting menu restaurants, there was a story to go with each dish presented. Also as common with this sort of thing, some dishes were better than others, and many were just okay. At $150 per person, it was on the expensive side, and I question whether it was worth that. Perhaps $100 would have been appropriate. A wine/cocktail option was offered for something like an additional $125, but everyone declined. We were filled to excess by the food, and found it difficult to imagine having space for drinks on top of that. An interesting experience, but we are unlikely to return at this price point.
