I think I was the only customer in the restaurant at the time. The server was really nice and kept my water filled when I was thirsty from walking around all day. I was happy to see khao soi on the menu. I had been mixing it up with khao poun which is a different dish and doesn't have fried noodles. I like both. I was hungry and tucked in to soft noodles, crispy noodles, pickled mustard greens, onions, and in this case tofu. The server noticed my enthusiasm and said it would make him happy. They also gave us a miso soup and two veggie egg rolls, unsure if that's part of the lunch special or not or standard for all done in customers, but it was a great addition! I absolutely love Thai food, and this place did not disappoint. I came here with a friend who lives and Chicago and said this is one of her favorite Thai spots. My daughter enjoyed her rainbow roll and my other daughter had the teriyaki grilled chicken. When opened, the panag and red curry looked pretty identical so we had to mix a spoon into the ingredients to see which one was which. It came with two crispy egg rolls and miso soup that was full of tender tofu. Everything was delicious. After the soup and egg rolls, I did not have much room for the noodles.
