You can find cute looks that go anywhere from the office to a bridal shower to a walk at the park. It is one of the pricier boutiques where the original prices can be high ($100 for a shirt or $200 for jeans), but I was able to find a reasonably priced beach hat here the other day. It was priced at $25...very reasonable. But...it was on sale for only $8! I need their clothes to have sales like that too, and you will probably find me living here.

I wandered into Soca after having some less than pleasant shopping experiences at other stores along the street and was surprised to be warmly greeted and assisted. The store has lots of options but is supremely organized and the staff is beyond helpful with assisting you while shopping. I didn't expect to find much because the window displays left me thinking they would only cater to really small sizes, but that wasn't the case. I ended up having quite a few items placed into a fitting room. The fitting area is relatively small but the attendant was awesome and event helped me decide which pieces to buy. Ugh, I couldn't believe I was THAT person who picked up 10,000 things not expecting them to work then having to make some decisions when they all did. Soca is definitely on my list of places to stop during my next Birmingham visit!

I half-heartedly agreed but thought it would be interesting to see what a pageant coach and stylist might choose for me. David didn't ask and I didn't suggest a budget, we just wanted to see what looked good. Dress #5 was the one! And I didn't look at prices until after I chose it. Turns out I had tried on gowns far more expensive but he didn't once try to steer me towards something more costly. I'm so pleased with the gown, the store and the wonderful help I received from David. Something tells me you will be too.

The selection is endless, the service is above and beyond and each associate is knowledgeable and goes far beyond what we've encountered at some other boutiques. I've driven all over Alabama, from north Florida to just outside of Atlanta in search of just the right piece to suit her, so value when we can find it is always a plus. Jenn was our salesperson on this occasion and bent over backward to find exactly what we were looking for! We were able to bring in our own food and drinks which I really appreciated. The store itself is beautiful. It has a great selection of clothing, accessories, and hats. For the party, we actually purchased some hats then we were able to accessorize them. The staff was simply amazing!! They were super friendly and very patient (her mom included)! As you can imagine, we had a party of about 13 women, so they did very well balancing all of our personalities and gave us some great suggestions when decorating our hats. This is a heck of a nice store. But the prices are a little high for me. I could have bought shoes all day long. Staff is nice too.. Can't wait to go to work and earn enough to buy everything here.
