John was a wonderful instructor, with a lot of stuff to offer. The sessions were quite intensive and I had to really make effort to be able to follow and absorb all the knowledge. Because schedule conflict, I had to take the exam a few months after the training (which I wouldn't recommend if possible), so I went through all the videos on the resource website, took the mock exam multiple times, starting from fail (even less than 60% correct ) and gradually increased to above 90% correct. I passed the exam the first time. I have to say the exam was not easy (mentally and physically), glad I had the training and reviewed the materials, that's critical for my success.

Some of the most valuable aspects of this program are: - the insights about the test and anecdotes the instructor shares to reinforce course themes. - the study sheets you're provided make learning the processes and outputs much easier. Way better than flipping through the PMBOK! - the PMA portal with practice tests and quizzes. It provides insights on where to focus your study time. In addition, I recommend downloading Pocket Prep so you can do practice problems on your phone. Paying subscription is worth it!

Prep with Jen is not really prep with "Jen". I went by the Google reviews not realizing that the most recent review was over a year ago... If you are interested in private lessons, be prepared to pay $110+ for an hour and you aren't even getting sessions with Jen. She subcontracts her sessions out to other tutors and has very little oversight over the sessions other than her being cc'd on the summary emails. They don't record sessions (even my son's wyznat tutors record sessions!), and her tutors are not as qualified or engaging as she is. She picks up the phone and talks a lot with you before you sign up, builds a personal plan and approach but once you drop thousands of dollars on her packages, she disappears and only reappears when the tutor summons her over an extremely trivial issue (rescheduling class time requests in our case). She isn't interested in customer service and is only concerned with maximizing her tutors schedule with clients. I would not recommend at all - not only was the tutor not worth the rate, her customer service was horrible after we signed the contract UPDATE: In response to Jen's response, her claims are bogus. Her tutor wasn't happy that we asked to reschedule 3 times out of 8 sessions because of 1 time having the flu , one time a serious car accident and 1 time an unforeseeable conflict! Rather than picking up the phone and discussing with the family, Jen claimed my son was unengaged which was absolute lies! How non empathetic is that?! My son is an honors student with 4.3 GPA so forgive me if I think you're claims are bogus... She has zero evidence to back up her below claims, as my sons score already improved but majorly due to his own studying and not because of her tutors sessions which pretty much was a project management approach of watching my son complete assignments rather than truly explaining concepts. Although we accommodated changes in timing by her tutor for 5 sessions, her tutor for some reason didn't appreciate 3 reschedules and then made these bogus claims of unegagement to Jen that she decided to not even validate with the family. If you want personalized instruction with a tutoring organization that is invested in your personal success, this isn't the place for you.

This score was a massive 300-point improvement from my PSAT that I took the year before. Initially, Jen's class helped me to familiarize myself and solve the different types of reading, grammar, and math questions, giving me the initial bump to the 1450 range on a practice test. Then, she taught me to be more vigilant regarding the more deceptive questions, ultimately allowing me to get consistent scores in the mid to high 1500s on the College Board practice SATs. Throughout the process, Jen was very accommodating and answered all of my and my parent's questions about the DSAT. I highly recommend this class to students at all levels looking to improve their scores and can't thank Jen enough for my improvement.

He's proactively creating outlines while reading to set himself up for success when trying to remember details later for questions or discussions. He's gotten better at self-advocacy, reaching out to teachers via email, when he's unsure of how to tackle an assignment or something isn't working correctly vs. just ignoring the issue. With the help of the Tutoring club he was able to work on his math skills last summer. He was not eligible to start in Honors 7 because his SOL scores were 2 points away from where he needed to be. He completed 1 semester in regular math where he was getting straight A's and was bored so his teacher promoted him to Honors 7. He ended the year with a B+. He was able to bring homework to the club when he needed an extra explanation of the materials which helped him tremendously. My other son was enrolled for Reading comprehension due to the drop in his SOL scores from 4th to 5th grade by 100 points. His 5th grade teacher was not the best and he didn't learned much in 5th grade from her. He started 6th grade with a 2 in Reading Comprehension in the first quarter, raised it to a 3 in the 2nd quarter and for the 3&4th quarters got a 4. The tutoring club has taught him many strategies in how to read with comprehension and answer questions by the process of elimination. This summer my children are working on their writing skills which is another area that most kids need additional instruction on since teachers can't individually help all students. We have been more than happy with the Tutoring Club and the help our children have received from all the wonderful tutors they have on staff.

Obviously they don't care if they actually teach your kids anything or just taking money from you!!! Not to mention that we have troubles to refund our money as we prepaid at discounted rate.
