This is a follow-up from our previous review of this company. If we could give zero Stars we would…read more first Matthew seemed very professional, knowledgeable, dependable, tidy, and accountable. We Stand corrected! He was none of these things and left us high and dry, to have to replace our brand new kitchen faucet and hire a plumber to fix all the damage he did in our house and we'll have to do a warranty through Home Depot to repair our leaky shower! We should have known after he had to cancel and reschedule on the very first day he was to start the work here! His excuse seemed legitimate. However, this was one of many times he had to cancel, reschedule or did not return our messages for days and even a week. He installed our brand new kitchen tap with the faucet upside down, and when he went to tighten it after the third time he dropped the set screw pins down the drain. Now we haven't heard for him for 3 weeks and have had to hire a plumber and had to go out and purchase a new faucet as this one could not be tightened without the specific set screw pins. Our shower which he installed in our upstairs bathroom is leaking water on the floor. Thank goodness we can go through Home Depot for warranty for this. The other items that he attempted to repair, were just that, attempts as he apparently did not know what he was doing, and every time he went to fix something there was a new problem that needed to be fixed! Our plumber that we hired also had to fix those problems! It was a comedy of errors, and Matthew just left us high and dry with all of these things that he broke and just abandoned the job, and did not return any of our messages or calls! (AFTER BEING PAID IN FULL)!! I don't normally like to post bad reviews like this but be forewarned if you hire this man expect him to be late, cancel, install things improperly, break things as he's trying to fix them and then leave you high and dry to fix them on your own! We couldn't have been more disappointed, and we tried our best to be accommodating and understanding after every mishap he had! After everything was said and done from paying for the shower install, to labor and parts and then having to replace the kitchen faucet as well as hiring a plumber it was in excess of $1,500.

He helped diagnose the problem while on the phone and determined that the issue was a simple dead battery in the thermostat. Problem solved. No cost. Incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. When booking the appointment, a week in advance (to adjust work schedule), notified owner what the EXACT issue was. Cracked copper line from the toilet...even double checked that the line would be replaced with PVC pipe. Today, the tech showed up with instructions that toilet was plugged. Owner even argued that it's a plugged line, but was tied up and wanted to inspect himself, to ensure wasn't a plugged toilet! Leaving patch off, and sewer fumes venting into the house. LAST time they were called, on this same issue, he "forgot" and wanted to come the following day. Working people need to take time off work, and one day off work was enough. I, personally, cut out the piece that was visibly cracked, and put a patch on. It's copper. It cracks, and leaks. IT'S NOT A PLUGGED TOILET

In less than 5 mins my phone rang and it was Rocket asking if I needed any help(!). They promised a technician would be over to take a look at our basement drain right away, and he arrived in less than an hour. Dustin was great - professional, friendly, explained the potential issues clearly, and quoted a reasonable cost (avg is about $250-$350 for jobs like this). Turns out there was a blockage between our line and the sewer, and thankfully not too bad of one as the "snake" machine cleared it after only about 12 feet. He was in and out in about 40mins, including a quick test to make sure everything was flowing nicely, replaced the old cap on our access pipe, and my bill came to less than $370 tax in. No mess, no pricey upsells, nor long complicated explanations/stories. Perfect, especially when your problem is something this gross, haha!
