Due to the age of the floor, and the unavailability of the existing floor product, we had to do a complete replacement. My wife and I were most impressed with Michael Yanez, owner of Best Budget Flooring and Remodeling, so we chose his company for our wood floor replacement. We couldn't be more impressed with the entire process. Best Budget replaced our engineered hardwood with luxury vinyl flooring. It only took Michael's flooring and painting teams three days to complete the project. The floor is approximately 1000 square feet. They moved all of our furniture, hung plastic to prevent dust from invading the rest of our home, removed the quarter round, removed the old floor, sanded and prepped the foundation, installed the new floor, repaired the water damaged baseboards, installed new quarter round, painted all of the baseboards, cleaned up after themselves, and moved all furniture to exactly where we wanted it. We were blown away with how quickly the project was completed. My wife and I absolutely love our new floor. Michael and his team were knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. Michael visited our home several times throughout the three days to make sure everything was going well. I couldn't be more impressed, and we would absolutely use Best Budget Flooring again. At the same time, we needed two new sets of French doors and all new windows in our 50-year old house. After some quotes, we went with Bullard Siding Co., Inc.. We can't say enough good about Chris, Drew, Justin and Jason. Our finished product looks amazing. We are so well insulated. Rain and gargantuan earth worms will no longer to be able to get in under the cracks of the doors. The windows should save us $$$ on heating/cooling bills. Our journey starts in approximately February of last year. We got a quote to get our roof…read moreprofessionally replaced and repaired. We decide our shingle and gutter colors and everything seemed great, planned and ready to go. This is during a supply shortage so we get delayed a month or so due to availability of shingles. Sure, no problem. The installation begins: the contractors arrive and seemed professional enough to know what they're doing and they get started ripping things off and replacing. First incident is my neighbor picks up a handful of nails that were left in the street after the first day of work. Unacceptable, but they responded respectively with my feedback. 2nd day into the work they let me know they underestimated the amount of shingles and need approximately $2,000 more including labor. We decline and but pay some pity because of it being a mistake. Here's the catch. We have to wait for more shingles, --for 3 months. All the while 4 different leaks developed with a half blue and half brown roof. Keep in mind, all of the communications with AVCO have been extremely delayed and they showed up multiple times without notice. They fix the leaks; repaint it and all. I accept it. And still being lenient. They continue the roof replacement and the blue shingles look amazing. Another 3 months go by with little communication on when the gutters will be installed and the pricing. The gutters get installed initially, completely incorrectly. At this point, the person who gave us our initial quote was 'fixing' his contractors work. The gutters continued to hold water and drain incorrectly. We come to find there is a sagging section of the roof that they should've contacted us regarding and at least given us the choice to get it repair or not. But no one ever spoke about it potentially being a problem. To this day we have yet to pay for the gutters as they still are left incorrectly done and still holding just a little bit of water, not to mention a corner being finished with the wrong type of leaf catcher because they ran out or got lazy. This is not a reliable company. They contract out there work to anyone who will do it for a low wage.
