Good spot for a quick, cheap beer that's quality. Nice tables outside and live music!

Took the tour. Learned so much about sustainability and was quite interesting. Focused mostly on IPAs so keep that in mind. Not my style of beer but my spouse was in heaven. Got a beer with a tour plus a glass to take home.

The Alchemist is OG and continues to deliver with great beer and a great atmosphere! First, staff was very welcoming. It was a snowy day and a bit slippery. I walk with a cane so I was holding my husband's arm for support. Staff was quick to come hold the doors open for us so I could get inside safely. Small things like this mean a lot. The interior of their space is colorful and full of art. You could sit there for hours and notice new details. We sat out in the covered and heated patio area for a while to enjoy the view of the snow. It's a comfy area with tables and some couches as well. The beer is fabulous, of course, especially their IPAs. You can get Heady on tap, or have one of their many other offerings that are canned. It's a really nice way to spend a couple hours, snowy or otherwise!

What a cool place; we went on the tour. Fred was our tour guide. He was so energetic & passionate about the company. I loved learning about how eco friendly the company was & why they won't go nationwide with distribution. It was lovely to receive a tasting glass & free beer as part of the tour, but also knowing a majority of the proceeds go to scholarships for local students. The outdoor area is beautiful! Luscious, green grass with disc golf, Adirondack chairs, standing tables (plastic), benches & an opportunity to take pics in a photo stand-in. There was a food truck outside offering a blend of international cuisines called Warren's Food Truck. We did not order from here but saw what appeared to be a yummy menu. We left with 6 4-packs of Heady Topper & Focal Banger to bring back to NH. What an amazing experience (we will be back!).

It has been over 10 years since we visited the Alchemist. We were so pleasantly shocked to see how big it has grown! And still maintaining its integrity to high quality craft beers! With a substantial new parking lot and taproom space, we were thankful to not have to compete to park and get inside! And from the moment we walked in we were warmly welcomed and provided high quality customer service. We knew that we wanted to drink the Heady Topper, so we decided to try the seasonal "Just Say Gay" pale ale. It was delectable! And for an important cause. We loved it! We ended up getting both a four pack of Heady Topper and the Just Say Gay pale ale. Yum! With plenty of seating, reasonable prices, and a chic steam punk and open ambiance, our visit to the Alchemist was top notch. We just wish we lived nearby so we could return more frequently . See you next time!

We were so impressed by the beauty, layout, nice staff, & delicious beer choices! Visiting the area and had to check it out. Family friendly but would be great for all types of attendees. Food truck, great lawn space, and patio with a stage. It was warm so we chose the cozy indoor option. Loved the Vanilla Porter; such quality ingredients mad great names. Nice merchandise also. Go check out this cool spot!

The alchemist may have been the greatest brewery that I have ever been too! It's decor is funky and offbeat and artsy, the beer is rated as being the best in the United States, the vibe is exceptional, and they have a food truck outside. That makes delicious jerk, chicken, and pork.! we brought back a four pack for a friend in our town because they have a limited distribution area for their beer. they have an app available for your phone when you are in the brewery that is fun to use because you can aim it at a variety of exclusive in-house brewery, art installations, and make them come to life! They have filters available that let you make yourself look like Heady topper and they are hilarious!

Only stopped in to pick up some beers as a gift, they offered 6 different types of beers they brewed and 3 bottles of wine, there were limits on how many you could buy due to supply and popularity. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped me pick out some beers that my friend would like. Very funky vibe inside I would be interested in going back for a meal sometime.

Hands down best brewery I've visited in a long time. We were in town and decided to take their brewery tour, which I highly recommend. All the proceeds go towards helping the community with scholarships which is awesome. Our tour guy Fred was knowledgeable and friendly. The brewery inside is so cool! You can see their tanks, their beer moving around, cool murals and cool merch. Outside there is a beer garden and tasty food truck. The beer is great! So many options. All tasty. Please do come visit this brewery, you'll love it. Can't wait to come back!

This place was awesome. The decor is fun, colorful, eccentric. There is a huge outdoor area for people to grab chairs and sit wherever, and they're also dog friendly. They only have one beer on tap, everything else is served from cans. The food truck on site was awesome! Highly recommend the smashed potatoes!!

First of all, is the heady topper worth it? Hell yes!! Kudos to Fred for the outstanding welcome here! It's big and obviously has a cult following, yet maintains a welcoming real atmosphere (again, credit to Fred for setting the stage). The beer is outstanding. I could gush more, but seriously, quit reading and just go and have some beer here. Wow. Brewery #23 or so in 6 days, and it's one of the best. I'm a fan!!!

I went to this place looking for something new and to find something tasty and they did have something that looked really good however it only came in bottles and it was $28 for a 375ml bottle. The glasses of beer are around $6 so that's not horrible. But when I asked them if they have any type of beer that doesn't have that exact beer flavor that I can get in a glass they did not have an answer. They said one of them is less hoppy and when I asked what that meant they could not answer me. So I actually didn't buy anything. I was very disappointed that they couldn't help me find something. The artwork was beautiful and the person selling the merch and beer to go was really nice.

This is a MUST while in VT!! It's a great place to hang out and is def baby and family friendly. Hubby enjoyed some beers here and we def took a bunch home to go! Also left with some fun merch too. They have a food truck option which is a plus since we tend to have the munchies while drinking. They also have their own parking lot. Come check them out!

Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. From the moment we sat down, the attitude from behind the bar set the tone in the worst way. The older woman tending bar was openly dismissive, rolled her eyes at simple questions about the menu, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her every time we ordered a drink or asked for something basic like water or silverware. No greeting, no smile, and zero effort to be even minimally polite. At one point she dropped drinks in front of us without a word and walked away before we could even ask for what was missing. It's a shame, because the kitchen clearly cares, but the experience at the bar completely overshadowed how good the food was. If ownership ever addresses the front-of-house attitude, this could be a fantastic place, but until then, be prepared for excellent plates paired with some truly miserable service.

This brewery was known to be superior 8 or so years ago. Us hop heads in CT dreamed about it but never tasted. We were curious, their location was intriguing. It also made us skeptical. So the snow is falling, it's approaching 4pm, the drive brings you up a hill on the dirt road. Add beer to the uncertainty of the moment, it was perfect for anxiety, excitement and first tastes. Draft one was a nitro stout. Yeah, like Guinness but... UNBELIEVABLE. Just that good. Then an IPA close to their origin. Simple. Again, UNBELIEVABLE. Easy sell, I bought each 4 pack available. Asked for a restaurant in Montpelier. The Three Penny Taproom was... UNBELIEVABLE. (Chickpeas, Chicken Nuggs and Hill Farmstead all over the place.) Of course the brewery guys recommended it, and the gas station at Willey's in Greensboro. So we survived the "brief flurry", and a Taproom extraordinaire. The beer is ready for a Connecticut Christmas and will be compared to the beer from Burlington, Stowe and Deerfield. All great brews. The anticipation of enjoying Hill Farmstead beer was just as exciting as the trip and first taste. So, If you need a trip, find them. No complaining about the distance and remoteness, please. It's where they are. Yeah, you can find the beer in other places in state. I look forward to getting it at those spots. I look forward to seeing the brewery in the summer!

So while on a trip and looking for a spot to grab some lunch naturally we ended up picking this spot. I've been aware of Lost Nation Brewing but it's been since 2016/2017 when I had a beer from them last. To start they have ample parking and have a nicely painted mural on the side of their building. They have an indoor section we did not check that out and instead sat at the bar in the outdoor section. How can you pass up looking into the kitchen and also the wafting scents of burgers, fries and everything else being cooked. Despite a chillier day than most we have had lately it was worth it! Besides their own brews they had guest taps, guest botttles/cans, and even some cocktails including some spiked apple cider for that fall feeling drink. For beer fans they even had a rotating Hillfarmstead DIPA for a guest tap. I ended up getting their Kolsch and my wife got their gose. Both very solid beers and worth grabbing. Food wise they had a couple burgers, fried chicken sandwich, pulled pork, turkey sandwich, hot dogs, and some small plates. My wife ended up choosing the burger and I got their fried chicken sandwich. She enjoyed the burger and thought it was cooked very well. The chicken sandwich was delicious, the fact it was smothered in honey did make it a bit messy to eat but tasted so good! The fries we got were massive and well seasoned and the side of pickles were great too. Would be a no brainer to get either one again if we visit again! Bartender was friendly and we didn't wait long at all for the drinks or food! Well made brews paired along side delicious food, really what more could you ask for? If you visit during warmer weather it appeared they have a huge outdoor area further back than we were in as well! If you like visiting breweries add this to your list to check out!
