As a new patient to the office, I was bringing a complex case that I needed help with. Dr. Ebadi listened to my concerns, asked poignant questions so he could provide great understanding, and was just a lovely human being. At the end of my appointment, I left knowing that I was going to be OK, and how to effectively move forward. I am confident to be under his care.

Ultimately, I decided to find another clinic after two significant issues became unresolved & intolerable to a point that I was left with no choice but to find another practice; someone who would listen & response to my symptoms. I had continuous struggles with oral thrush from prescribed medication. And the doctor refused to address this issue, denied that I even had thrush. The following week another doctor confirmed otherwise. Finally the failure of anyone at this practice to help me get refills, left me feeling abandoned. No call back, no appointment, no one to help me with my prescriptions. When a doctor won't listen to their patients & denies their symptoms, it's time to move on.

I shared my insecurities about my nose, it was crooked, too large and had a hump. I was told a combined septo-rhinoplasty would help both function and appearance. I asked for a very natural result and stressed that breathing was my top priority. Ginger reassured me I was in the best hands, emphasizing that he would revise until I was happy. Which should've been a red flag. Recovery was manageable and not too painful. When the cast came off, I was in shock. As the swelling went down, my nose looked more asymmetrical, scarred, and unnatural. And most disappointingly, my breathing hadn't improved, if anything, it was worse. Six months later, I underwent a revision septoplasty with Dr Menachof which made no significant difference. I'm now over two years post surgery, breathing has not improved. My cosmetic concerns have been brushed off and they have referred me to a cosmetic surgeon who can do filler in the nose. I refuse to do any filler and can't believe this is my result. Only recently did I discover that during the original surgery, Dr. Menachof had performed radiofrequency coblation turbinate reduction, something I wasn't clearly informed about or given the chance to fully understand the risk of Empty Nose Syndrome, and I now live with symptoms that match it, my right nostril feels painfully dry and obstructed despite it being wide open. My left nostril is constantly leaking and it seems to have only gotten worse over time, and all efforts to remedy it do not help. It's exacerbated I do any type of exercise, eating, talking, etc. It is humiliating, frustrating and a constant reminder of this mistake I made. Despite multiple follow-ups, Dr. Menachof continued to dismiss my concerns, saying everything "looks great" and that I'm just one of the unlucky ones. I wish I could undo the decision to trust him. I look back at old photos and realize I never needed this surgery and certainly not with this provider. I am beyond devastated and frustrated with my results and functional issues I now experience. I've become depressed and no longer can enjoy the things I used to in this life. If you're considering rhinoplasty, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I wish someone had warned me. Just know it is possible to have worse nasal function and appearance than what you have now, don't take it for granted like I did. I will not post photos here but there are some on other platforms.

To be clear, this actually has nothing to do with this office. This is 100% to do with CAAC's…read morebilling. They have the absolute WORST medical billing I have delt with. This billing will ultimately be the reason I stop getting my shots. It is impossible to see what you're being billed for on their site. It only takes you to a form to to input your info and pay. It won't even tell you how much you owe. It just gives you a place to put a dollar amount. If you ask about pretty much anything financial in the actual office, they direct you to call the billing office. The invoices are all over the place. One said I owed $341, they other says I owe $533. I set up a payment plan with the billing office, which I thought was going pretty smoothly.... Then I had my purse stolen and forgot that this payment was on one of the cards that got stolen. I missed one payment, called to make it right, not my payment plan has to be re-setup... for more money a month because the billing for my shots hadn't been going into the account. No one told me they were separate accounts, and that I had to pay separately for each. I got no bills for the shots, I only got one lump sum bill, which told me that I need to pay the WHOLE AMOUNT. I called the billing office today to give them the new card information, and pay the amount missed in November. The woman I spoke to, though understanding, was very confusing. Also, she told me that I needed to look at my insurance statement to understand what was being billed. I don't really feel like it's my total responsibility to figure out what they billed. Why isn't there anyway to look up the info on the patient portal on their website?! At least I haven't been sent to collections (I don't think I have anyway), but this is just maddening and ridiculous. It shouldn't be this difficult to figure their billing. It shouldn't be this difficult to understand ANY medical billing! Medical is too f-ing expensive in this country, at this time for them not to be 100% clear about what they are billing, and how much you owe. Not a good way to handle your medical billing... Not good at all.

Because I went in asking for a food allergy test I made an assumption my food allergies would be tested. They were not. So now I have to go pay somewhere else to have an another test done. If you do go here, I would recommend having a very explicit conversation about what they will be testing for. I would also recommend demanding a copy of your test results at the appointment. Otherwise you'll have to call three times to get them. I couldn't be more disappointed with my experience.
