Based on my personal experience I don't think they've every remodeled the entire building. The pipes are proof of that. We have multiple instances of multiple inches of water in our apartment. Now the biggest problem is the pests. I think the management is doing their best but it still a thing. Are they ignoring these problems? No However it's cheap and the management is nice.

RENTER BEWARE: This place was great at first and I thought Nita and Scott were kind people but I…read morevery quickly started to realize that this was not the case. Scott would enter without proper notice caught on video and not reply to emails or texts for days or even weeks at times. I also have videos of Scott using loud equipment outside at less than 50 feet the buildings doors at 1 AM which would keep you awake. There was never any courtesy notice for renovations in the units next to you so you would wake up to someone banging on your wall at 7am even on weekends. Several things in the apartment did not work and were never reviewed in my conditions report or fixed even with maintenance requests, such as my fireplace. There are so many things on the lease that Scott himself does not follow such as "leashed pets only" and lets his dog freely run around the parking lot/ side streets in the summer. After my stay they kept part of my deposit for reasons that I had photo and video proof were not true, and the apartment was CLEANER than when I had moved it. Nita is not physically capable to cleaning anything as she can barely walk around as is. My dryer lint trap had literal food wrappers and actual used gum stuck in it. I could go on and on about the things that are definitely not standard at other complexes that are done here. You can see from my photos how the dishwasher was left for me on my first day, as well as the trim in the whole apartment had this glue stuck to it with previous tenants/pets hair

They need to give applicants a copy of the back ground check when they request it. From what I see the owners had to lower their standards in order to fill the position. She prematurely filled out paperwork before my application was approved. She refused (unprofessional) to give me corporates #. Like google doesn't exist. But that told me a lot about her character. The front entrance, Garbage cans over flowing trash on the ground smelly. That's how the property managers manage the property. (UNDER QUALIFIED) I'm still trying to check the status of my application. Katie doesn't have a clue when I ask her the status of my app Really nice place but staff is running it down. Granite Peak had to lower their standards to fill the positions. Sally Laird from corporate, misleading. She called babbled nonsense and let me know she didn't have a clue either and would have pass me off. I could go on. You're making THE CASTLE ON THE HILL look bad. Last but least, and very very sad. They offer $100 discount to veterans, (which I am) They just don't honor it. I paid the application fee and I still haven't heard from no one. I filled out the app 4/17 give or take a day I have filled out 2 others , results back hour or 2 later. It almost felt like they was intentionally trying to keep me out. I asked Danielle about tenant meetings her response was why. No one here speaks English. That definitely was a red flag for me. I have given them the opportunity to make things right. Walk their crap back...NOTHING. Educate yourself on your office procedures for new applicants.

Had a water leak from above and all they did was cover up the leaking spot with more drywall mud and paint. Complex charges high fees for apartments that are not very nice. READ lease before signing. Charge security deposit PLUS two months rent if you find yourself in a situation where you need to break a lease. Would not recommend living here.
