The building is huge and they had tons of classes and items to paint separately. There were quite a few people signed up for the class and they had a few teachers helping out. We were given an overview and an example of what we needed to do and we were off. The class included one of our creations to be glazed and colored. AR Workshop is a DIY shop where you can sign up to do pre-determined crafts throughout the week and weekends. Examples include cake stands, signs, tote bags, and clocks. The inside is adorably decorated with a modern rustic theme. There are large tables where you and your group can sit at to work on your crafts together inside. You can also book a private event in advance through their website which is pretty easy to navigate. There is ample parking space which is always a plus. I came for their grand opening with a friend. This event was well-planned and so much fun! They had teal decorations and balloons everywhere and were well-stocked with alcoholic drinks, water bottles with their logo, sparkling juice, a charcuterie platter, shrimp with cocktail sauce, and burritos. Guests were able to make a simple craft which were small wooden boards with various stains and cute phrases stenciled on top you could choose to paint with a variety of shades and colored glitter. They even had a cute photobooth 'van' outside, live music, and raffles throughout the evening. Seriously well-planned, my friend and I had a great time. I actually left without them even putting the legs on my stand because they split one of my friends projects by nailing where they shouldn't have. They ruined the whole look. I didn't know what we would be creating until we arrived - I'm not sure if my friend chose that, or PWAT chose for her. I think our instructor's name was Rachel, and she was very good. I'm not really good at painting, my painting came out okay overall IMO though. You're allowed to bring drinks and food, I think my friend and some of the other attendees brought some alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and some snacks. The class is two hours long and you'll leave with a nice painting of your own creation. They also had a contest mid-class where we could guess the number of wine corks in a big bottle, and I was the winner! (I was only four off - I won't tell you the # though because I think they do this every class) Because of that, I was able to choose a painting from the wall, and I really love the one I chose. She took a razor blade and gouged through the two layers of paint, the layer of finish on my board and into the wood. This left a hole in the middle of the project that I then had to try to fix. My original repair looked much better than this hole!

I was very disappointed, I also ordered a pink lemonade, it was the best thing that I ordered. I didn't eat my food however I took a carry out. I also want a carry out cup for my lemonade. I ask the waiter for a cup to carry my drink with me. The waiter said that the owner didn't allow carry out for the drinks. Wow, the bill was 60.oo dollars. I was shocked and disappointed in the food and the final draw was that I was not able to take me drink with me. Note! The waiter offered to give me a bowl to put my drink in.
