Most middle school/high school groups meet during the week. The school aged program looks like Main Street at Disneyland. The band is rockin'! The Lord is in this place! They have an awesome children's ministry (Kingdom Kidz) and teen ministry (MISFITS) that will surley get your kids involved and willing to learn more about Jesus. The Pastor and his wife are the most genuine, real, faithful, and loving people you will ever meet. At HBWC, you are treated as a 10 when you walk thru the door. They know how to Love God and Love people the right way! I have never attended a church where I immediately felt like family in my life until I found HBWC. I highly reccomend joining us on Sundays at 9:30am and 11am for worship service and on Wednesday nights at 7:15pm for Bible study. The music is fun but once the preaching starts, it goes down hill…read more I had to walk out because I couldn't take anymore hate-speech. If you think 'homosexuals are trying to convert' you and that women shouldn't work, this is the place for you. The preacher is obsessed with hating homosexuals and women, which makes me curious as to why. He spoke about how once he was going to sell gasoline to a broke-down traveller near his home, but the traveller ended up not paying so the preacher reached to get his gun and 'blow the back out of their truck.' He said the only reason he didn't was because his daughter was near. His preaching-style is to tell the congregation some historical 'facts' (I majored in history, so...) that seem to fit the story, but they really do not. This is not as harmful as the hate-speech but it is annoying and misleading. Also, like I said, he is very obsessed with hate-speech against women and LGBTQ+. But I know it's Byron and many people like that kind of thing. If that's you, go for it. You'll fit in.
