The shoes are colourful, leather or fur and made with tender loving care. No one has the range and the sizes that Squire has. It is fantastic to find a shoe shop that has a good selection for a small foot, especially sizes 39 and 40. (Which is 6 and 6 1/2). The shop itself is very comfortable and the sales assistant (owner) has a really lovely manner when talking shoes. Shoes are obviously his passion. We spent a good hour in this shop laughing and enjoying good conversation while I tried several pairs of shoes. Yes bought two pairs!

This is the store that anyone with gumby feet will adore - and by that I mean anyone with big, wide or narrow feet, in fact anything that's not a perfect size 6. These clever souls cater just for us! And now they've got a shiny store in new Westfield, it's even better (the old shop was stuck in the 70s - in a bad way). To add insult to injury, the other problem with gumby feet is that our shoes come with a hefty price tag. It might be a small price to pay for well fitting shoes, but Peter Sheppard also puts on a couple of stonking sales each year, so you'd do well to sign up to the mailing list and time your visits to suit.

I went looking for professional advice about shoes. They sized me up, asked about my running, checked my stride, my balance and pronation, and recommended three different shoes to try. They let me run each pair up and down the mall to try them out. And the prices were actually cheaper than I would have paid online from Rebel Sports for the same shoes. Tops.
