I DO NOT Recommend this place to anyone. When I use my card to pay for my session; the receptionist took the card and copy it without my permission. I asked her why she copied it and her reply was: "just in case there's a refund". I dont like the underhandness. They lure you by promising massages and they dont deliver. He did not even bother to give his name until I asked. There was no warmth, no effort to connect, and no sign that he had any real interest in the patient in front of him. At times, he simply disappeared, leaving me without supervision. I also brought exercises from my physician, as recommended by my chiropractor. He flipped through them with complete indifference and offered no useful comment at all. I have been a patient at Kaufman since 2012, and I hold the doctors, billing staff, and front office in very high regard. They have earned my respect over the years. This review is about one rehab experience only and should not be taken as a reflection of the rest of the practice. As for this therapist, he seems better suited to selling athletic shoes than working with patients.

In long 7 months ago, my lovely bride suffered a serious stroke and has lots of atrophy and inflammation in her affected arm and leg, because they don't move as much as they did before the incident. Month before last, we wanted to re-establish her with massage care, and left ESR a message. Waited a week. No response. Tried again. No response. Tried the online form to book an appointment. Still no response. Left one more VM while I started looking for somewhere else we could take her. A week later, they finally called back. 4th time's the charm, right? They sounded organized enough on the phone that I was ready to give them one last shot. They couldn't quite fully explain the difference between their specialists, but they got close enough that I just picked one. Still have to wait yet another week to get seen, and now we're well over a month into this process. They did a lot of intake work over the phone with me, and said it'd be nice (didn't sound required) if I could bring a paper copy of one form with me. Totally my fault--I couldn't find it. Certainly was my issue. But we couldn't be seen. At this point, even if the care in back is solid, there's such a long-standing pattern of obstacles, sloppiness, and indifference that it wouldn't have seemed wise to proceed, even if they let us. The front desk staff has been rude and not very helpful. I've had multiple issues with my FSA funds and not going through. They changed their booking to only a month out which makes it difficult to get scheduled appointments. I've taken in documentation multiple times and it has not been saved in their system and was just asked to bring it in again. Doctors and companies like this need to work directly together as people don't know all the things required to bring in or the coding that they need. This has been nothing but frustrating and a waste of my time to be doing all the paperwork they require. Especially when I had brought it in multiple times and the front desk people did not get it in their system. I'm looking for a new massage/chiropractic care facility.

Started many years ago with me bringing a friend who had MS, I then started going there as well over the years To get some adjustments with our insurance coverages and after what took place today I am absolutely terrified and confused... I arrived early for my 6pm appointment with Dr Ball, I saw a new person at the desk, she was polite at first, i offered to give her my new debit card to keep on file.So I could pay my forty dollar coPay on monday or wednesday?Which is my payday as we live paycheck to paycheck right now with the high cost of living in washington state, usually the people at the desk are lenient about it.And it's not a problem, and we don't carry a balance... She was very argumentative, picked up the phone and started reporting it to a manager as if ive done something wrong . I was confused about her attitude, and I let her know that it's usually not a problem If i've ever asked and it's only a couple of days, we have very expensive insurance That covers everything.And she kept arguing... being disrespectful, I asked her to stop with her causing me stress as I was there for a painful issue, she kept lecturing, gas liteing, baiting me, I finally said please stop!! He was able to get me in and see me very frequently- I never had to wait more than 10 mins, and could usually get in within an hour of calling for an appointment. Because I had been in a car accident, my insurance was asking me what my care schedule looked like, down the road. When I asked Dr. Lichfield, he gave me a non- committal response. He insisted on seeing me 3x/ wk, which honestly just isn't feasible for me. Every time I saw him, he didn't seem to remember seeing me just a few days ago or the conversation we had. After a couple of months, I stopped seeing Dr. Lichfield due to some racially insensitive remarks he made. As a person of color, I felt very uncomfortable, but I don't typically make a fuss about when I encounter racism, but when it's a medical professional, I needed to stop. His care was good, but he was unexceptional, he didn't seem to remember me despite seeing me two or more times a week for months, and was racially insensitive.
