We worked with Eduardo and his team throughout the duration of the project. We are very happy with the outcome. The Quote & Final Price. Of those we contacted, BBC took the least amount of time to get us a quote. The quote was also the most detailed of the ones we received. Eduardo included renderings of the island remodel and surrounding space as well as a detailed breakdown of materials and labor. The quoted price was very competitive -- it was among the lowest. BBC completed the project for the quoted price in spite of a few unexpected complications we encountered along the way. Quality of work. We are extremely happy with the quality of the work performed. We were very up front about certain key requirements going into the project and Eduardo did a very good job making sure to adhere to them. For example, we wanted to make sure the island cabinetry matched our older, discontinued, cabinetry. Eduardo was able to match our own cabinets very closely without impacting the price. We also had a number of other very specific requirements regarding cabinetry arrangement and Eduardo stuck to it perfectly. We got what we asked for. Communication and experience. Eduardo and his crew kept the dialogue going throughout the project. We spoke regularly via telephone, email, and text message. They listened to our questions and concerns along the way and made adjustments based on our input. They were very good at explaining when certain things made sense and when they didn't. Eduardo and his team were not afraid to speak up when they thought their input would lead to a better result. For example, Eduardo and one of his team members (Daniel) had some suggestions about how to cut the granite to wrap around some steam pipes adjacent to the island. This resulted in a much better finished appearance and the additional cost was negligible. We are glad we listened to their suggestions as the final result is better than we had expected. We had a great experience with BBC and would use them again. We recommend them for anyone considering any type of project for their home.

They put wood under the dumpster to make sure it didn't scratch our driveway. The porch is amazing, gorgeous and well made but on top of that, they thought of the little things. You spend a good amount of money on these projects and when you have to clean up or fix a driveway you feel cheated. They accomplished more in one week than our first crew did in 2 months. Peter was truly invested in the project, and it was clear how much he cares for his clients and his crew. Every step in the process was a collaboration: Peter scheduled appointments between us and the electrician, HVAC crew, and plumbers so we could all walk through the house together and talk through what we wanted and what would work. Peter also made suggestions throughout the process that improved the plan and house in ways that never would have occurred to us. At one point, Peter's crew had the idea to move an original built-in cabinet to another wall in order to open up the dining room to the kitchen, and it changed the entire flow of the house in the best way possible. Visitors always scratch their heads in disbelief when we tell them that the built-in was moved - they insist it looks like it has always lived in that corner of the room! Peter uses the best materials for his builds, and the finishing work is outstanding. Oliver is an incredible carpenter, so our new stairs, kitchen casework, trim around the walls and doors, and tile work in each bathroom is absolutely gorgeous. The existing walls in the house were in bad shape after we removed the wallpaper, so Peter's meticulous painting team patched and repaired all of the walls before painting. The walls are now absolutely smooth and look brand new. The few times there were issues, Peter and his crew addressed them immediately - things were corrected by the following day. Our entire project was massive, and Peter coordinated the work of all of the subcontractors seamlessly so there was never a day that no one showed up to work. Peter's prices throughout the project were also reasonable, especially for the quality of work and materials that they included. Our finished home is more beautiful than we could have ever imagined - we are beyond happy and grateful to Peter and his crew. You name it we did it. The job was completed for what was quoted, and the quality of work and integrity of the team were amazing. Everyone was very kind and patient, we were pretty particular on details and specs, which not everyone would tolerate as well as Artisan did. In every renovation, unexpected things happen- we found out our fascia was rotted for example and needed to be replaced, but as far as what was within the teams control- they never increased the price beyond what was originally quoted, and clearly communicated timelines and set expectations well. Our place went from looking like an absolute dump to a really beautiful set of apartments. Could not speak more highly of Artisan and hope to work with them for all future renovations.
