I showed him a picture, and I thought I was in good hands. Boy was I wrong, when he was preparing to go to the cash register, I notice that my right side of my hair was 1 inch longer than the left. From the moment our barber, Jennifer, sat my husband in the chair, the energy was off. She was cold and unfriendly, and when we explained the style we were looking for, we got very little verbal response -- just a dismissive facial expression. That kind of nonverbal communication says a lot. The low point came when she asked whether a beard trim had been scheduled. I confirmed we had booked a hot shave. Her response? "He doesn't have a beard." My husband had about five days of facial hair growth -- which is exactly the kind of thing a hot shave is for. It didn't stop there. She was answering texts on her phone mid-appointment. His hair was never washed, dried, or styled. The floor around the station was covered in trash. And to make matters worse, she left the back of his shirt completely soaking wet -- which was especially frustrating because we had a party to attend immediately after. I debated whether to include this, but I feel I have to: my husband is Indian, and the coldness, the dismissiveness, and the overall lack of care left us both feeling deeply uncomfortable. I don't want to make assumptions, but I couldn't leave that unsaid. I can only speak to our experience, and it's possible the other stylists here are wonderful. But this visit left us feeling unwelcome, shortchanged, and honestly just baffled. For the price of a barbershop service, you should at the very least feel like you're in good hands. We did not.

The man is basically the Michelangelo of fades except instead of carving marble, he sculpts my head into something my driver's license photo could only dream of. I drive past at least 12 other barbers to get here, and every mile is a victory lap knowing I'm about to walk out looking like a more refined version of myself the kind of man who tips better, lifts heavier, and makes better life decisions. Jeremy doesn't just cut hair; he performs precision engineering. He could probably defuse a bomb with those clippers. Or start one because that beard trim? The shop vibe is perfect too. Clean, comfortable, and cool enough to feel classy, but not so fancy that you're afraid to sneeze in the wrong direction. Jeremy somehow manages to be professional and hilarious at the same time, which is a skill set that should honestly be licensed. If you want a haircut anywhere else, sure go ahead. The shave was a straight razor with hot towels and shaving gel and cream that left my face feeling refreshed and not irritated. Close shave - having had hot shaves before - and she did a fine job. Pleasant conversation. The shop has a great vibe - dark, leather, and shelves lined with spirits of patrons (you can bring your own and they will tag it). They offer a glass of whisky pr bourbon on the house if you like. Overall a fine place and I will be back. Highly recommended.

He shows you the results in a front and back mirror, so you can make any desired changes - which I think I may have done once or twice over the decades. His waiting area table is loaded with lots of interesting current magazines about sports, cars, wines, etc. I only get to read them when I arrive a few minutes early for an appointment. His online appointment system is a great time saver. Parking is practically at his front door, and there are always lots of spaces available.
