I was left satisfied with great service and grateful for always keeping an eye open on Instagram when finding talented barbers such as Ant-now and Kolb (manager) who are about making sure clients look 100% their best when it comes to hair cutting. I am very respectful of the craft of barbering and cosmetology and recognize very quickly. Symmetry Unisex Hair Salon, located in Swedesboro, NJ, is a salon worth coming to for any hair service you desire. Top notch barbers that are on point. Amazing!!! Very impressed. Always willing to give a prospective barber a chance, which allowed me to put trust in Ant-now who gave me my cut. Seeing his work on Instagram made made me determine instantly he was definitely worth having cut my hair. Down to earth and made a brotha feel at ease. Hair service included listening in detail to my preferred style of hair cut, to shampooing my hair to lay to downgive it a much better look. The man has skills on "dem" clippers. My cut was exactly what I was looking for, and it took about 15-20 min of waiting (with an appointment) and 10 min of being in the chair. However, they uphold gendered pricing. What's ironic is I had gotten a short "men's" cut--the exact same kind as the guy who sat in the chair before me. My hair was pretty short to begin with, so it was simply a trim and shave. It took about the same amount of time as the earlier guy--maybe even less. BUT I had to pay $5 extra because they mistook me for a woman? To all my queer peeps, keep this in mind. I hope they switch to pricing based on hair length, with same pricing regardless of gender.

So I called Sal's brother Joe, who fitted me in, who did not have an opening that day and still fit me into the first appointment of the day. Joe did a Fantabulous job. I am very particular about my hair. I have gone to many barbers in my past, but Keith and Joe are absolutely positively two of the best barbers I've ever had. Sal's Barbershop makes you feel at home. The first thing you'll notice when you walk in the door is the baseball memorabilia coving every inch of the establishment. There's even an autograph from Babe Ruth. The second thing you'll notice is the atmosphere. You have a staff of older guys and a woman who know everyone that walks in the door and they have a wonderful sense of humor and are constantly cutting loose and will have you in stiches. It's a wonderful place to people watch, and of course get a good haircut for about $13 bucks.
