I read some of the reviews and thought well they've got a lot of good reviews so I'm gonna give…read morethis a try. I was two hours away, trying to get a car for my son.. Darwin sounded great sounded honest assured me that if we got the car, if anything broke in the next couple of weeks, they would fix it. This was June 16, 2025.. They even brought the car to my son. The next day check engine light came on. He took it by the manager, said it was a fuel pump and cleared the computer. Said if he had more problems come by. at 1:30 AM, on the way home from work. The car would not do over 30 miles an hour, and it was jumping. We barely made it to the house.. Darwin bring it to the lot. I told my son stop at AutoZone, which was two minutes from where he was parked and asked him to put it on the computer. This showed 13 codes which leads me to believe the codes had been cleared just before they car over to my son. I paid $2500 of this car. They use my bank card to do this. I tried calling and talking to the manager. The manager said he will not talk to me because I did notPurchase the car. they won't talk to my son Either. They've done nothing to try and fix this problem.. I have actually followed a complaint . It's been 43 days and a title still has not been received. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt that's why I chose this company and they certainly acted like they would stand behind the word but I tell you people, you need to listen. Of course, all cars can't be bad, but can you afford to take the chance? I'm still hopeful this issue will be resolved Without an attorney, but I'm willing to go the long haul. They just can't treat people this way and not be held accountable. I actually asked for the manager's name so I could personally speak with him in case there was just some, maybe irresponsible salesman not taking care of his business properly. Darwin refused to give me the manager's name and the manager refused to call me.

Then it wouldnt start 30 minutes later, then it started over heating and blowing thick white smoke once it did start. They took it to their mechanic and he "fixed it", that lasted less than 36 hours and we started having the same issues. We went to them and they agreed to have their mechanic look at it again, and it started right back up with the same issues 20 MINUTES after we picked it back up this time no check engine light came on. We had a different mechanic look at it and all our problems were being caused by a blown head gasket. The car is literally undriveable and I've had it less than a month. Found a bill of sale in the glovebox, from the person these guys sold it to not 2 months before i bought it. These people claim they are good upstanding people but they really dont care, when I told them I wanted my money back they started avoiding my phone calls and then had some repo thugs come out in the middle of the night to try to tow it off. When we called them they were rude and disrespectful. Will never recommend this place to anybody unless your looking to buy a car to destroy at a derby, and even then, you'd get a better deal going to a scrapyard.

Shortly after delivery, I discovered the steering wheel controls didn't work, multiple dashboard warnings appeared, the AC and heated seat didn't work, the car still shook while driving, and the "repaired" windshield crack was still visible. I paid for an independent inspection, which confirmed repairs were needed. I was told a faulty module could cause many of the electrical issues and advised to wait until it was replaced before reporting additional problems. It fixed nothing. Later, salesman Shawn Bowers blamed me for not reporting issues sooner, despite me following the guidance I was given. Since purchasing the vehicle, I've spent an additional $3,768.41 out of pocket, even after partial reimbursement from the dealership. Most recently, I had to replace the battery because the car is now stalling and revving at idle. Communication has been terrible. Shawn was extremely difficult to reach and constantly had excuses. He promised to call me back about helping with repairs and never did. This experience has caused my family major stress and financial burden. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone against buying from CarSmart.Net.

He was lugging around a giant vape in his hand the entire time we were checking out the car and doing paperwork. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. This was my first ever time buying a car and these guys completely ruined what was supposed to be a special day because no one was able to effectively do their job.
