I truly believe that his appointment and case management supported the pathology within my family to my daughter's detriment and undermined any opportunity I sought to have a therapeutic resolution to the conflict. In failing to comprehend the complexity and developmental immaturity of my daughter, the appointment of counsel to represent her (as opposed to a child development professional) resulted in Craigs's misguided advocacy for positions that are contrary to my daughter's best interest and healthy development. My daughter's immaturity simply favors the lax and permissive parent, so when her preference was given legal representation, a bias was entered into the court proceedings in favor of my daughter's mom who adopts a more lax and permissive parenting style over other healthy elements of my daughter's family system. This experience was contrary to what I expected to be balance and fairness in the legal system, and instead, I have to live with the detrimental effect that an attorney for a 15­year old has had on her emotional, social and psychological development.
