We decided to book in to this hotel rather than drive home as we'd had a fantastic couple of days…read moreover in Ireland.The drinks had been flowing and rather than have a quiet crossing back decided the party would continue on the ferry.The hotel was called from Dublin and the people here are great as they said they have people do this from time to time.Good location here not that far from the ferry terminal.The owners even agreed to pick us up from the terminal.The hotel itself is a clean looking establishment with a nice feeling to it as you walk through the door.Nice comfrotable rooms with good linnen and showering facilaties.Had a good full English breakfast the next morning which was wonderful and rienforced the ideal was a good one to stay the night rather than stay off the drink and drive home.Would stay again if we were to do the same again.

We were able to look out the window at the beautiful fields, and really just wish we could stay there forever. It was so peaceful and nice. Our host was very kind. She made us a full breakfast the next day, asking if we had any allergies or menu requests. Everything really was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our quick stay. We even met her grandson and the family dog when we were playing around outside the next morning, my daughter LOVED that! We highly recommend this B & B!

I'm happy to say we had no regrets! A couple things I'd highlight: -We met one of the owners (Colin, I believe) and he was super welcoming and suggested a great local restaurant around the corner called Watsons Bistro. -The rooms are very tasteful and the beds are comfortable. -The breakfast was tasty and the service was great. -The chapel is really very beautiful/special/fantastic/all the adjectives. -We parked right outside the walls for a cheap price. It was only a few minutes walk. No big deal. Conwy and Snowdonia were our favorite places to visit on our Wales trip, and the Gwynfryn Guest House definitely contributed to that! As of last Sunday 5/20/2017~ish, the new kitchen and breakfast room has been relocated to the old church chapel - it's awesome! So, the room I stayed in was in the "vestry" and was superb! All brand new, clean and cozy - the room was perfect! The ensuite bathroom was very nice (only needed some hand soap.) During my recent trip, I stayed twice, but a week apart...kinda coming and going. Both visits were stellar. Colin was extremely cool and accommodating (only met Monica briefly - she was quite friendly). I'm not sure how soon I'll be back, but I will only stay at Gwynfryn during my next visit to Conwy - it was PERFECT! 5 stars...so SOLID!

Other than that everyone is nice, the room is clean and spacious, but that bed - we stayed in a lot of hotels and this was the worst. I'd try to find somewhere else if I could next time.
