Old school family run diner. Food is on par with what you get at any diner. Friendly staff, clean tables.

The best diner breakfast in the area, by far. The diner is clean and I actually like the boating decor. The breakfast is really the star of this place. They have specials all the time to spice it up, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Even the eggs benedict come correct. Stopped here after going to Hometown. The waitress we had was not friendly. The food we got was subpar, the soda was watered down and not carbonated. No one said you're welcome or smiled. Another server was rude to a little girl at a different table. The experience was unpleasant. read more

Incredibly slow service, very outdated interior and exterior. The hand soap in the bathroom smells weird. The locks in the bathroom stalls need to be replaced, and there is an overabundance of toilet paper in each stall. The salad bar has zero to no options, and the lettuce is wilted and brown. Also if you use ketchup, bring your own for the bottles are nearly empty. The food is decent and cheap but definitely not worth the wait. Dry. Everything we had was dry. We had wings. Tasteless and nothing juicy. They were obviously old. Fries with cheese and bacon were partially edible. Too much cheese sauce. After having a disappointing afternoon at Pocono Whitewater Rafting, we were looking for somewhere to eat as we made our 3 hour drive back to MD. After reading the other reviews on Yelp, we decided to give this place a try. So glad we did. At first we weren't sure what to make of it, we arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday and the parking lot was practically empty. The waitstaff was super friendly and gave us suggestions on what to try. I ended up going with one of their specials, the spicy shrimp po boy which was very good. I can't say enough good things about this place. The food was cheap but great quality and big portions. Have been here twice now. Ate the Pittsburgh Haddock sandwich both times... which is basically a "garbage sandwich" as Pittsburgh natives would call it. It was so good the first time that we had to go back for it again... and will probably at some point make our way back there again. Good service, good prices, good diner. read more

We waited for a long time to get our food... Not the worst thing, cus it is a diner. But we ordered a hot pepper omlet off the menu, expecting jalapeños or something. Nope, it was banana peppers, which was like mixing eggs with vinegar and then cooking them. Gross! read more

Went for breakfast at 7:15 Saturday morning. Ordered steak, eggs (sunny side up) and home fries from a slow miserable waitress. Two couples came in ordered and got their food before me. Eat there a few times per year. Real good food, good drinks. Breakfast special is a great deal. Salad bar is nice at dinner. Drinks are priced appropriately. I'd recommend you stop in. read more

What you expect from a diner. Only good thing I've had here is the pie, which wasn't even that great. Food just tastes bland or like everything you've had before. Well you definitely don't come here for the ambience. Aside from the place being unintentionally dated to the 60's, it's filthy. I mean, truly grossly dirty. Almost all surfaces of counters and shelves where things are lying about have visible grime. I saw the cook leave the bathroom to head back to the kitchen one time and was taken aback by how dirty he was. His shirt looked like it hadn't been changed in weeks. I wanted to leave, but my husband was hungry, so I just got fries. We go there for breakfast maybe once a year because my son requests it, or I wouldn't even go. I had breakfast here and the scrambled eggs weren't even real eggs. Hashbrowns consisted of two large deep-fried patties of minced potato. There was a small puddle of grease on my plate. Bacon was good. read more

Every time we go to Hometown Farmers Market my husband and I stop here for lunch and we have never been disappointed. The food is of course diner fare but hey it's a diner! The food was cold the stuffing was green seriously, don't even get me started on my waitress Marcy I think her name was she was rude sarcastic and uncaring she shrugged off any of my concerns the pie was hard on top soggy on bottom and watery then what got me was when I told her about it she went over to another waitress and they giggled and stared over at us then my bill was double charged Marcy gave me an attitude and said there was nothing she could do about it, mind you I'm on vacation but word is that place is going down hill especially with food but yet they are charging more for things.
